I know Denny's is not the best, but it's open late and you can dine in, the girl that served us was great. Maybe it's just nostalgia for me. Haven't been back to NZ in a few years, but the quality of food seems mediocre at best and the prices don't really match the quality of food. Chef Mic (Microwave) was definitely used on the ribs, not a good look, burger was nice and desserts were good, nachos were yuk, too long in the microwave, wings were meh. Not the best place to eat, but it serves its purpose if you're hungry and it's late.

Hadn't been to Dennys for a few years, but enjoyed my meal there on 9.1.2022. I had a satay roll then chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert plus a mango smoothie. They were all fresh and delicious and we didn't have to wait long for our food. My sister had a pancake stack with butter, some spring rolls, a chocolate milk shake and a coke. She didn't complain so it must have been delicious.

Oh my how this place has gone down hill over the years and noted other reviews attest to this. I used to love coming here but it has definitely changed from what the Dennys Manukau used to be. Ordered the breakky with a side of bacon, comes with filtered coffee and partner had cheese omelette with a cup of tea. This is where it gets interesting, I had to ask for another cup as it was dirty and food took over 50 mins to arrive only because we asked where it was. (see photo for reference that looks like it had been sitting under a warmer). Manager advises this is due to staff shortage however it was not busy and still inisisted on paying the surcharge. Paid for our tea and coffee $11.50 and left. Will definitely be avoiding this place in the future.

I was invited to go here recently and even though I didn't really want to, I did end up going. The food was a lot more expensive than what I would have thought given their reputation. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either, and I could easily get similar value for less somewhere else. For some weird reason we had to ask several times for water (and the food is quite salty, so it was needed) and when it did come we got 6 glasses for 8 people and only a pitchers' worth. It wasn't a horrible experience but it did reinforce my original impression of Denny's. If I got invited back I'd likely go, but I probably wouldn't choose to come here.

Came for the curly fries and they said they had none. This place is dated and run down despite a semi recent renovation with the new colour scheme. Over priced menu with below average food. Millennium burger $16 for that I expect gourmet like Burger Fuel or Burger Burger for that price. 2 stars as the deserts don’t seem to have changed and a big fan of the Hot Fudge Cake 👌🏽

This Denny's has gone downhill since last visit 2years ago. Very poor quality food. Its inexcusable really. They are not only serving the most economical ingredients but also just pure laziness by serving microwaved food when the restaurant is not even busy. Ordered beef chilli hot dog....yuck. sausage was a cheap no substance tasteless one. My friend had the pork chop which was chewy and tasteless....also seemed like it was heated in microwave straight from frozen. She couldn't eat her waffle because it too became chewy after a couple minutes of cooling down.... for the money they charge I expect more!

Walked into team not thinking as one noticed grubby glass on doors food on ground tables not clearing & dust & old food around fish tank & pot plants. Customer service not clear looked & felt like ohhh im not wanting to work & not being sure where to seat us due to tables left with dishes. Overly cooked hashbrowns Coffee flat white beans were burnt paid a large price for a regular One sunny side up egg other over done Toast had smeared butter like there was no more to fufill the toast before serving had to ask for more it came out with marg eww, as to no attendee service to what dennys had back when to refill coffee or anything else to purchase when needed felt abandoned not being at a dinner. Salmon english muffin breakfast was too oily tasted like it was fried with oil Hollandaise sauce was packet made has not realness to it no more. Not recommending dirty hoping i dont get sick ..... Needs to be throughly cleaned & better happier customer service & cooks, all need think one team to have it done also tables cleared on time to allow shorter wait time to be seated.

Service was generally good, atmosphere was reasonable, and there was lots of space when we went. On the brunch menu, plenty of meals come with complimentary tea and toast, which is very handy. The portion sizes are large. The value for money here is fantastic.

The chef needs a pay rise. The food was incedible!!! The service was absolute garbage. We got the main food and we were sitting trying to get the waiters and waitresses attention for so long but no one would come over, we were wanting dessert and more drinks but everyone in the store was getting ignored as soon as they got their main course. All of the staff apart from the chef were talking about getting drunk and who wanted to serve where and what they were doing the night before and talking about the staff behind their backs.

First time here so decided Sunday brunch was on! Lots of car parks around restaurant. Fairly well signed to find it. Good service, yet minimal service. Good menus and lots of options for choice. Tried the Denny Benny meals and bacon pancakes. Pretty good! Good flavours, plenty of food on the plate, cooked well, although the mushrooms and hash were a bit greasy. Pancakes were a good size, would have loved the bananas caramelized a bit more. Cup of coffee and tea included in the meals was nice. Large teapot for one with a small cup made for many refills. Prices were fair (22-24 for the Benny's, 22 for the pancakes). Would go again.

Was better before back in the days. Today was so terrible with their customer services. Food was yucky; *Unwashed salad *Steak smells yucky 🤮 *waited for more than 1/2 an hour *Too much expensive 😪 🤧 * Haven't received one of our meals. *Staff also smells yucky on a Sunday. Bad customer service 😑

I usually love coming here but this is not it - I understand there is a shortage of employees, but the last few times we have come, they have forgotten half our order, our drinks, our cutlery even. Last time we came, the food was cold before we could even eat it cause there was no cutlery - and when I finally did get cutlery, I still couldn't eat my soup cause they gave me a fork lol. I ordered a drink before eating and it never came, we asked again while eating and got nothing.

The steak was tough as leather. I asked the staff 3 times for salt and pepper shakers, they ended up bringing out salt and pepper squid 🤷 don't recommend

First time my family and I have been here upon a recommendation from a work friend. Expensive for the quality of food, our chips were not fresh. Pumpkin & Spinach Lasagne looked like soup, we thought they gave us the wrong order. Our server was a really sweet lady. No cutlery or napkins on the table, it wasn't served with our food so we had to request it. It's only convenience is being open 24hrs. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, some diners were in their PJs and robes and we were there in Smart Casual at 1am. It might have been better in the past, but it's not a place I'd be choosing again. Not a place you always wanted to go, crowded and food was serve in 30mins. But the hospitality of the staff are commendable.. smiling, work well under pressure and gives attentive service. You pay for the price of the food, a bit salty and mediocre. Regardless, this place serves a plate if you’re hungry.

Came in the evening with family for dinner, I dunno if was just that evening that the service and food was very mediocre? There were two lamb dishes we ordered to be medium rare, both came well done. Other orders that came eg. Chips, chicken nuggets were alittle soft no crunch, the beef chili hotdog, the sausage was mushy couldn't taste any flavour, chicken buffalo wings were dry the burger was good. The milkshakes we ordered at the end all tasted concentrated with flavour and so didn't taste natural. Overall it was mediocre, prices can be better with what you get, service was poor to ok. May come back next year.

Not new here but we stop by when in area we stopped in for brunch today with the kids we were seated right away which was great normally it does take while in the past waiting to be seated I guess it was quicker today as not many people dinning We ordered our food and wait time wasn’t too bad but the quality was really off today the hashbrowns were burnt the eggs were not cooked long enough either patties for the burger my son had were also burnt too it wasn’t presentable either looked like whoever was in the kitchen was just slapping things on to a plate didn’t expect the quality to drop as Denny’s is usually our go to I would say new Lynn Denny’s standards is much better apart from that the wait staff are great

🤦‍♀️ Grilled Cajun chicken was so soggy, the greens were browning & wet, cheese had fabric or hair in it. The Pork Ribs dish & kids burger meal was OK. For dessert: doughnuts were hard & absolutely drenched in chocolate syrup served with ice cream 🫠 the so called pancakes were more like crepes. never again lol

I usually order the same thing everytime I come here so I can't speak for any other dish other than the hot fudge dessert and oreo shake (which hadn't been delivered yet), but this place is consistently good. I understand other people have had bad experiences but I've never had a bad service. Its not always great as sometimes I feel theyre tired and want to go home but theyre always respectful. With that said, I planning coming back to get the same thing

I ordered a single shot coffee as I don't drink full strength. No-one explained a normal coffee at Denny's is a single shot, so a full strength coffee. I only found out when it arrived and could smell/see it was full strength. It wasn't busy, so a quick explanation could have been mentioned when ordered. It was replaced with no issue.

Was feeling a bit hungry so had a quick google and it showed this place was open 24/7 so off we went at midnight and the place was packed. Quickly joined then line and was seated in 10 minutes and had our food not long after l. Staff were great food was good pattys could be better but all in all was a satisfying feed

Bit of a long wait to be seated & served/for tables to be cleared (by 2 different girls collectively).. so already almost walked out staff weren't so attentive had to ask n wait for a fork/serviettes.. The satay roll decent size, ordered the usual chilli fries and millennium burger which I found dry this time round 😞 buffalo wings and chilli fries bit pricey I'd say
