Good for quick shopping. Few brands here. Manukau mall is close to this if you prefer a big shopping mall.

Kmart is the main attraction people come here. And at night would be the Night Market😊 Check it out! The chemist warehouse is due to be open where T&T was once. The playground situated in the middle of the foodcourt. More food option be nice...I was just there today, browse in the Beauty Bargan shop, for over 20 minutes the couple there never acknowledge me. Not even a hello.

Mannn what happened to this place I remember coming here as a kid and it was pretty good now it looks sooo run down and tired it's so sad to see think the only shop worth visiting here is Kmart part from that it's just like the of Papatoetoe too many not needed same Indian shops. I'm sorry but the whole Plaza and whole of Papatoetoe needs a complete make over sad to think it used to be quite nice back in the day now it's overpopulated with you know what type of people.

Hi Had a great easy shop at Hunters Plaza. Kmart, Postie Plus, Chemist Warehouse and a specialist bag store and Countdown. All well set out and very tidy and staff acknowledged and helped. Easy parking. There are other different clothing stores that are not chain stores too.

I used to shop here regularly when my kow adult children were young, and it certainly has changed!! Although the food area has lost the major chains, the center has gained The Chemist Warehouse. I came here to collect an order, I usually go to Sylvia Park. It was pretty chaotic, admittedly there was a lot of restocking happening, but it felt like I was having to dodge or wait for staff who, seemingly, I must have been invisible too, which could explain why I heard so many expletives, nobody saw me so nobodyn needed to mind their language. No customer awareness. When I reached the collection counter, the older South asian female attendant cooly requested I follow her to the staff entrance at the back of the store, where she placed all of my items at my feet on the floor. I suggested to her I may need a trolley at which point she left, my items on the floor, me without a trolley, unable to carry all the items, and now unable to leave my paid items unattended to retrieve a trolley from the front of the store!!! Unsure if an insane lack of awareness or sheer laziness. Either way, whomever employs staff here should watch the store videos, and I suggest some staff training wouldn't go astray. A kind lady gave me her basket trolley, else I would have had to risk leaving my paid items behind. In hindsight, and given her example, I should have taken the item with the docket, left the rest to get my trolley to collect the remainder of the items from the floor stock and left the items at the back for her to sort over. No wonder the store is a shambles! After collecting a few other bits and reaching the payment area, a lovely older Pasifika woman helped with a return of part of my order, and assisted me with my additional items with a smile and a thank you as I left. What a stark contrast!!!! Put her in charge of customer service please!!!! It was a reminder why I stopped visiting Papatoetoe Kmart.

A flash back in time. The plaza reminds you of the good days gone by of the first and new plazas. A bit dated but holds its on and has a unique vibe about it that just won't give in to modern fast paced times. Awesome community vibe within the plaza and theres a nice cafe or two to get a hot brew while exploring the plaza.

My wife lost her bag and we called/emailed management and left messages. No reply after 4 days!? On the 2/04/2023, 12:30pm I physically drove to the mall and spoke to security who was very helpful in fact he called management and said we were heading up to ask about a messing bag. Upon arrival management was not there? I decided to have lunch and head back 45 minutes. Again, no management just a sign saying they will be back soon. The time is now 1:30pm As I was walking back to my car I saw the same security guard. He asked how it went and I said no one was there? He said she was there and called again. I said I will be picking up some shoes and will head up there in 30 minutes. The time is now 1:55 pm and this time she was there. I was greated with a angry person that had a look that she didn't want to help me, said “nothing was handed in”. That was our conversation, she didn't take my information or asked that Hunters Plaza will call/email if anything shows up. Bad experience and will not want to shop at this mall again.

Yay, thank you Hunters Plaza management for this competition and my daughter who nominated me for the mother's day competition, I won $250 yay! God Bless and this is greatly appreciated. Our favorite places to shop is kmart, postie, number one and 2 dollar shops but you just need to bring Maccas back it will bring more people in the mall💛 oh we love Grace's Eatery as well

Small mall which has the basic needs of a human being. Visit my channel @Nyar Karateng TV for full video on YouTube Facebook Instagram. Thank you 😊

It is a mini version of "THE NAKI'S" own center city as they both share a lot in common with each other in terms of architecture, smelly toilets and a very lack luster food court "that's why the toilets are smelly". But also they share the variety of outside attractions who like to congregate outside to apply there tax free trades or just be a bum at the publics expense

Great place to shop in the mall itself .variety of things you need and cloths shops I love going there kmart inside. Or you can just shop out side the street but I prefer in the mall warmer .

The mall keeps trying to improve, but it's still pretty shabby. I would say it's seen better days but I don't remember them. The travelators in part of the mall were out of action which made it hard for me to get my disabled son in.

Poor old Hunters, has seen better days but Kmart is perfect, parking is great and chemist warehouse is there now. I'd rather shop there than trying to find a park at Manukau!

They only have one late night and they dont have any of the mane food competition stores there anymore they took away McDonalds and burger king. They dont have many interesting shops. And when you need management they are very so so slow to act. Most times they pass the buck or they just arent available cos they arent there the doors ate locked or they gone home . The atmosphere has a lot to be desired for. You cant go down both sides of the corridors to the toilet. Cos of shop lifting mmmmm so higher more security seriously thats the simplest answer. The shops are quite boring shops that they have. And the food shops are not very appatising.

This place was a Mecca 20 years ago now it’s a shell of its former glory. Smaller mall with about 30 shops in total. They have some key anchor tenants such as Kmart, Countdown, City Fitness, ASB and Chemist Warehouse. Other shops include a smallish food court with about 6 eateries, hair dressers, dollar stores, clothing stores etc. Pretty clean and tidy forfor it’s age. There’s security walking around. Massive underground parking. Just be careful I’ll hide valuables. Mall has numerous entrances. Plenty of shops on the outside on Great South Road as well. There are public toilets and a baby changing area. Every Friday from 6pm they have a huge night market in the underground parking. There are food stalls, fresh fruits, toys, nail technicians phone case people and much more.

Kmart is one of the best, lots of different items, food court leaves a bit of improvement. Half the food shops were shut. Not great seating.

Annoying lady at coinmart hunters plaza following us around everywhere asking if we are buying this and that if my kids even touch one thing for one second. So we can't touch one thing to pick it up to get a closer look. So bloody annoying. Won't come here again. How can we shop if she keeps following us around. What kind of customer service is this. So bloody annoyed

Cute little mall prices are reasonable has a little food court where you can have a meal only downside about this mall is it closes early around 5 except on Thursday where it's open till 8

Used to get very busy and had many good shops, now most have moved to Manukau shopping centre. The remaining stores are smaller and there doesn't seem to be a lot of visitors. There is a lot of parking spaces underground and outdoors which are used up on Fridays for night markets. Decent shopping location if you don't have the transport since everything you need is basically in close proximity or inside Hunters plaza.

Mall itself was awesome BUT Grace's Eatery was NOT good. People started coughing, got sore eyes because the chef had smoked us out & the spices they were using was very strong. They either did not turn on their fan extractors or they don't have any. They open the back door to the kitchen. When people left, the tables were NOT cleaned. There was still spilt food on the tables & the staff were asked numerous times to clean. Orders were either totally wrong or went to the wrong tables. NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE. Won't be going back

It's changed heaps since I last came. The new Chemist warehouse is huge and right by kmart. That was a good move! Didn't bother looking elsewhere

Unless you're wanting to go to Kmart or Chemist warehouse there isn't really any point in coming here. This mall(?) is pretty dead most of the time which is sad because it used to get pretty packed. All the other stores aren't known other than the Countdown and Noel Leeming i think it is. The food court is pretty sad as well. Half the restaurants aren't even open. Manukau Westfield isn't too far and has much more to offer.

Went to a small Cafe in the food court called Mrs Higgins, excellent service, friendly, if your after a nice coffee and you're in the area please stop and meet the friendly team.

Plaza is okay. Not a huge amount of variety. Got my son these donuts from the donut stall there and I wouldn't recommend - the first time we got them they were great but the young person on this time undercooked them. The slushies are more like juice. Kmart has a good range though.

Needs better shops and a arcade, miss the timezone arcade that used to be here( was least crowded unlike botany one) and was my hang out spot too

Not the same as before (90s). Only decent stores I go to Hunters Plaza for are kmart and countdown. A great cafe, your lotto kiosk next to countdown and the jewellery store that have changed management over the last couple of decades. Generally closes around 5sh except for countdown around 9 and kmart around midnight.
