The pools are designed for different groups.The swimming pool here is huge and can even make you feel a little dizzy. Staff are friendly. It's a great place to take kids to learn to swim. recommend.

Parking usually full on Saturdays from people going to the markets. Basketball facilities are nice. Staff are usually good to deal with but sometimes they like to say the courts are unavailable when clearly no one is using them.

Love the Otara pools. Lifeguards are great and always play good music. It’s never totally crowded which I enjoy, and I love how the kids pool goes from very shallow to 90cm so my two year old and six year old can quite happily play together in the same pool. We’ve only recently moved to the area but I’m looking forward to getting into the outside pool when it’s not raining.

Great indoor pools. Swimmers are divided into lanes according to how slow or fast you are.

Free entrance and nice and safe environment. Plenty of lifeguards standing by. Even has a separate spa and sauna section. Love this leisure facility! Now in the increased operation hours (photo attached).

Be healthy by exercise. Current system, everyone must wipe down the equipment after use to keep sanitized, very good regimens because everyone pull the responsibilty weight equally. Music are good depending who's on duty. SKY sport are limited to Crickets, Neyball and Rugby replayed games. Nothing changed much. Overall it's what it is. Now their operation time is back to normal lets get moving to swim, gym, do activities and socializing. Interesting predicament.

Was at the Leisure Centre to umpire at a Muslim netball tournament, the booking for this tournament was paid for 8.30am onwards I'm very disappointed that the young girls & adults who arrived early were made to wait outside until after 9am before being allowed to enter, this was utterly disgraceful especially when the rain came through

The lifeguards and regulars are pretty down to earth. I always feel relaxed and 100% safe when I'm here. I live out of Otara but come here cos of the good vibes and music the lifeguards play on the days I go. I am a muso so it feels nice swimming and sometimes dancing in the pool to mellow sounds they bang. Thumbs up

Used outside walk way to go to and from Otara Flea Market between Maori Wardens Office and Recreation Center. Parked in car park. Gosh it was a lovely experience. Got out food and cuzzy got her a Mullet and Mussle for her dinner. All and all a very great morning. 😊👍🏼. All the way from Papakura.

Good gym and atmosphere, showers could be warmer as there pretty cold and sauan could do with a hose down every hour or so for hygienic purposes other than that no problem here

Great place. Gym, swimming pools, hot pool. Good gym fees. Personal trainers. Next door, same building Te Puke O Tara Trust. Community space.

Love the facilities here.. Spa is right where sauna is.. Even better its seperate male and female steam saunas here... Very clean and tidy.. The staff is awesome... Very friendly... This is connected to a stadium facility.

Nice pools to take your family too. Spacious when not over crowded. Kids love it here. Family changing rooms may need alil paint or a spruce up? Apart from that a good outing if your in the area.
