Simply the best taverna in Paphos. Great food, great location, and a great host. We have used various tavernas in the paphos and coral bay areas since 2017 and have found this the best. The pitta bread as a starter is a must and is most delicious with a large, extremely fresh salad. Kleftiko is slightly different from other restaurants where their lamb may be swimming in oil or may even have cheese on top. Here, the lamb is cooked perfectly with little or no fat and good value for money. Fish. The fish is extremely fresh, large, well cooked, and presented. Steak: Steak was cooked to perfection and served with roasted vegetables. Lamb chops. The lamb chops were plentiful,very tasty, and good value. Great service and value overall. Nothing was too much trouble from our host, with some great recommendations and specialities. Thoroughly recommended and willl be returning again each year.

We had a very nice experience at this place. We served the famous Moussaka, the best one I have tried in Cyprus yet. The owner was very attentive with us, engaged in conversations and made us feel like we belong there. They are also collaborating with one of the best local wineries,Kolios wines, and we did buy a Marateftiko that was an excellent choice for someone that prefers red dry wines. Thank you very much for the hospitality! Would recommend the place for the experience itself anytime !

We had excellent friday evening party with live music. They have live music every friday. We had typical "meze". It was 17.50 euros and it was delicious! Very friendly staff. Food - fresh and with excellent quality! Live music also excellent! I tottaly reccomend this tavern. I will go back for sure.

Honestly, the best restaurant in Cyprus. The food was amazing. We ordered three main courses because we wanted to taste it all. The owner was lovely, and made our night very special. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Everything was perfect. From the service to the food to the hospitality and treatment of young kids. We really enjoyed there and prices were also very reasonable. They are doing an amazing job ! (We had moussaka and ribs while children had pasta bolognese).

We are enjoying a Greek maze and we can warmly recommend everyone who would like to experience a variety of Greek Cypriot dishes to give this menu a try. I have tried this several places and this is truly the best I have had. The service is fantastic and you will feel like home in their presence.

Amazing food served by an amazing host, who is friendly, helpfull, passionate and talented. We had vegetarian dishes only, which for us consisted of falafal, traditional dips, an delicious moussaka and beautifull vegetables spiced up perfectly. If the vegtable options were already this good, i can only imagine how good the meat dishes must taste! We will definitely be returning again and are already looking forward to it! The dishes are served in abundance. The dishes are not fresh. Raw products that are not fresh feel the taste of the refrigerator. The chef keeps saying how hard he works. The chef says he doesn't have the strength to work in the restaurant. Each dish that the chef serves, he indicates the amount of work invested in the served dish. The quality of the dish is not good. The quality of the dish does not reflect the chef's description. The food is not good

Great food. Especially the meat is outstanding. Everything was very nice prepared. The service was very charming. I can highly recommend the restaurant.

Very nice restaurant with local cuisine! We were looking for something less touristy and more local and we had a blast! The hospitality was amazing, the owner was very friendly! Fresh fish and fresh vegetables, amazing feta! Big portions as always and very good flavours! He makes everything himself from scratch and runs it on his own! The place was also very clean and had a great view at the church! There is parking next to it. It was quite a drive for us but definitely worth it!

It was our last dinner in Paphos and it was the best. The owner is very friendly and passionate about cooking great food. Not expensive for a nice quality, we really recommend it !

Long wait for drinks & food, terribly disorganised there was no waiter that evening and the owner was covering the place himself and you could tell it by the result. Over-rated restaurant save yourself the agony of a pretty awful evening, my advice is try someplace else and don't rely on old dated reviews as some places can change over time, this one sure did.

Sorry for giving one star, I never do it, but the food served was unacceptable. The lamb, which was actually ment to be a freshly cooked on a day, arrived freezing cold inside. The waiter said that is no problem and he will eat it tonight 🤣 Dish was taken off from the bill but the place is not worth visiting.

How much food! It was brilliant ! I had the ribs and the homemade bbq sauce was devine! Delicate, none of the strong in the bottle rubbish. The starters , well, we should just had these on their own, as they were enough food without the main meal. Great service and to finish a little Greek yogurt with honey and cinnamon as compliments of the house. Nice gesture

Amazing place with the most wonderful service. The lady was so sweet, open and helpful. The food was great - me and my friend ordered the meat meze and it was the best choice. You don't need anything else. The homemade wine - delicious. We came here for a quick meal and stayed for hours. Highly recomend this place. A lot of love for the Bulgarian lady, you're the best 🥰

Amazing place. We ordered the "mese" - local dishes full dinner. An incredible amount of dishes of many kinds started to arrive. And every plate is even better than the previous. Humus, tahini, port, sausages, veal, chicken ETC... and everything with a big smile on the face of the staff, and a happy vibe. They also helped us after dinner with getting a taxi. The place is beautiful and the view to the old church and the sea, is jawdropping. One of the places i am so happy to recomend. A defenetly 5 stars!
