Tricky to get and a little risky, but fun

Totally ruining the view. A shame that government didn't do something to took it away...a real shame, nothing beautiful or romantic about it, a scrap in the sea.

A good place for drone photography

Cargo motor vessel Demetrios II was built and launched by Hamburg (Germany) shipbuilding company in 1964. In 1998, near Paphos, in the heavy Levantine Sea marine accident took place. It is a sad story. Demetrios II was navigated without the legal maritime certificates and under unskilled command. The ship was abandoned and wittingly grounded on a shallow due to the high cost of scrapping. Well... this is sometimes the life of ships under a cheap flag. Now, it can be called 'senior citizen' or a tourist attraction. I did my photo in April 2015.

If you have a drone absolute recommend to explore the site. Distance from land is about 800 meters.

Looks cool from the land, especially during the sunset. Beautiful point on the horizon!

Adds to the scenery, I wouldn't say that if you saw many boats in the horizon but just ones adds a bit a spice to the view.

Very cool ship wreck, definitely a must see. The story behind it is amazing too and the ongoing story of it too!

Wish there was a location on the shore where they would give some information about the ship wreck. Now I had to google it and find the pieces of information for myself.

Make sure to visit this place if you stay a Cyprus. This is a piece of history and very significant place to see. It is very easy approachable my car and very easy to find. If you use navigation you will get the perfect spot to view.

Far out in sea! Unless you have the best smartphone to zoom in with your camera an get a nice clear picture 😂 Would recommend seeing the other shipwreck 'Edro III'
