This luxury hotel in Amman is a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city. The lobby is really impressive with its modern design and Arabic influences. The rooms are super comfy and have nice views of the city. The hotel has great restaurants with delicious food and fancy drinks. You can also relax at the spa or work out at the fitness center. The staff is really friendly and will help you with anything you need. It's a perfect place to have a great time and feel pampered in Amman.

Hotel was very good with welcoming staffs in entrance. And room was clean and neat. But I felt the house keeping was little mean when we ask for coffee refill. When we come out of the room I can smell smoking only, Morning breakfast could been better. And restaurant staff could have done better I felt.

One of the worst places I've ever seen in my whole life!! I will start with the room, smelled so bad and it's dirty even after we asked them to clean it. The breakfast unfortunately was awful! I really don't recommend anyone to visit in there!! It's not even 3 stars and they claim it's 4 stars! Tons of other options available in Amman and with much respect this place is not worth it at all.

Beyond terrible. Avoid at all cost. The management lacks professionalism and they absolutely dont give a **** about their reputation. We had an engagement party there, they over promised and under delivered. We agreed on several points that were mentioned in the contract and the vast majority of them were not done. Their buffet was below average when it comes to the taste and they underserved my guests to the point where they embarrassed me. When I reported to the management I felt like the management has absolutely no (education about (hospitality or customer service) and it kept me wondering how such a management with such a mentality and service run what supposingly considered a 4* hotel. If you have no any other options but this hotel do yourself a favor and dont pay the full amount in advance cause even after they admitted that they under deliveried they refused partly refund me for what I paid for and never received. Trust me thats not the type of people you wanna deal with to plan an event.

The service was so poor. We had to wait a lot before we receive anything we had asked before. They served the food without plates. We asked more than once for plates, knives, forks etc. Not recommended at all. Plus unprofessional staff

It's normal hotel in general. Rooms are comfortable. It could be something definitely better for this price. Thus, If you wish something superb, I could recommend to pay a bit more and stay in any real Palace hotel. Fitness works for women only at mornings. Windows are not enough clean. Breakfast is good, but not superb.

The stars say it all. Regretably had to stay there 3 nights as part of a tour package - Room cleaning is very poor. They barely clear the rubbish and leave used towels on the floor. Rooms are small and decrepit. - Food buffet quality is repetitive and unmotivated. Egg station cook comes late and orders were ignored or abandoned. You eat a buffet here and they want to charge you for plain water. The restaurant staff look unprepared and part time. Let me be blindingly clear..this dive treats guests like fools. - Reception and laundry serives were manned by entitled and arrogant staff who just want you to go away. - location is in a dark and isolated residential neighbourhood with no walkable access to stores. Think prison location. Clearly the staff and management do not like to to be there. You shouldnt too. Bottom line and due warning...There is nothing hospitable about this place and its shameful to call it a hotel. Do NOT stay here. There are other more deserved places to spend your money. This place should just close down and turned into a parking lot..

I reserved for breakfast buffet. It was good but need more attention for replacing empty dishes directly. Also, hot drinks (tea.coffee.milk) didn't taste fresh.

A terrible hotel. We booked adjoining rooms with children, these were given away. The room we were given was filthy; dirt all over the windows and cigarette burns everywhere including the soap dish. To top it all off the bath didn’t even have taps plumbed in. The staff ignored us and lied to us for 3 hours.

The hotel claims to be new but…. Ok rooms are good but the rest of the infrastructure is not really well maintained. The sauna area stinks. What I found more disappointing was the staff: it took me (literally) 12 hours requesting an iron and in the end I never got it. A hotel of this type should have an iron in every room or at least some irons available! Unacceptable!

We had my sister’s wedding there and it was the wrong place to make a wedding in!! First of all they didn’t put any sign that there’s a wedding in here! So the guests didn’t know where to go! Second the one who was responsible inside the hall was smoking! Third the DJ must be more professional! Fourth there was a guest book without any pen with it. And to end up with they started to remove the flowers that on the tables while we are in! You pay much money for the worst service☹️

My room & especially the bathroom was very small. Harir Palace is also a good 1.5km hilly walk to Al Qibly Masjid in the Masjidul Aqsa compound, moreso because one walks to Aqsa for the 5 daily salaat. Breakfast/suhoor was very ordinary & we missed most suppers/iftaars due to the hotel being unwilling to pack a take-away meal for Iftaar.

We can call it Horror Palace. The rooms are small. The food they serve are the same seems like leftovers from previous servings being heated. No service water in dining area. Unprofessional staff. One incident their staff dropped the butane that heats the coffee. My jacket was cuaght on fire but as if nothing happened. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Badly maintained gym. Out of order machines on daily bassis, broken lockers and showers, smelly toilets, and dirty gym. It is very sad witnessing the gym going down hell after being a loyal customer for many years. Even the fitness instructors are leaving the gym for bad working conditions.

I did my henna party there and it was the worst experience ever , i am writing this crying. They delayed the dinner two hours and the guests left without eating, they refused to put chairs for the extra 30 guests unless we pay on spot in their middle of the party and they asked my mother in law to pay now!!! Very unprofessional and impolite behaviour

The hotel is good; we enjoyed our one-week stay. The staff are all kind, except for one lady, she had a medium length, red-brown hair. We were disappointed by the treatment. The ending could have been more polite and professional.A day before, we told the front desk that we would like to extend our stay, they agreed. Today the lady at the front desk, she said we have a tourist group coming and needed our room. Although we are tourists from America, we informed them in advance to extend it for today, and they agreed. We needed to relax before our flight, as we have a long flight afterward. Last-minute canceling after agreeing is not lovely from them. It’s my first time being treated like this, and my first time giving a review. I am an instructor and I had classes, They did offer a meeting room. However, me and my daughters needed to relax before our flight. This needs to be more professional after an agreement happens. I would have given it five stars if it was not for the ending.

This hotel was a long way from the centre of Jordan. We arrived at about 2am and our welcome was less than warm .As we were tired we put this down to it being an unsociable hour but further dealings with the reception staff proved them to be a pretty unfriendly group of people. The restaurant manager by contrast was very warm friendly and accommodating. The food was generally buffet style though on one evening when we returned we asked if we could have a table for 8 in the buffet at 7.30 We were told by the receptionist that there was no buffet as there were so few guests. He told us we should have ordered food that morning. We were in a bit of a dilemma as we were there at a time of heightened security and had been advised to eat in our hotels. He summoned the restaurant manager who said there was no problem and he and his staff provided a huge mixed grill and plentiful salads and bread. They also seemed able to cope with the other few guests in the hotel. My biggest gripe is that the dining room chairs ( which had a faux suede finish were all stained with food. The banquette seating at the side was covered in fluff and some kind of gritty residue. We were not thrilled with this but had little choice. One of our party had a problem with the safe being locked on arrival and they said he had to wait in his room till someone came. This is not ideal when you are on an organised tour. Our room had a broken lamp switch and required us to unscrew the bulb to turn it off. Not what you want to discover when you have just got into bed after an arduous days travelling. The cleaning of the rooms left a lot to be desired and shampoo and shower gel were not replaced The foyer of the hotel is very glitzy and the hotel caters to local weddings etc in upstairs events rooms. I can only presume that they concentrate all their efforts on this and find the tourists an inconvenience. I most certainly would not go there again and neither would any of the other 3 couples we travelled with.

It was a great experience. I had an issue with the regular room. They moved me to a suite, and they made sure that I was comfortable.

This was a horrific stay for me and my husband, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody. We were only there for 3x nights and already have so many horrifying tales. The first room we stayed in, there were old, discoloured blood stains on the mattress that were showing through the extremely thin single layer bedsheets. The hygiene of the place was terrible - sticky spots/stains everywhere. We notified reception and they kindly advised us that they will upgrade us to another room. This was a solution I was happy with, they advised us that we should simply pack our bags and call them when we are ready to transfer rooms. We did as instructed and called them to let them know we were ready to transfer and they said someone is coming up to direct us to the new rooms. We waited FORTY FIVE MINUTES. We called reception again and it was a different receptionist who had no idea that we had called and that we were being transferred rooms. We waited another 15 minutes (and in that time we had to call and hurry them up again). We were exhausted it was getting late in the night, we had just landed after a 20hr flight and the incompetence of the staff was astounding. Then when we arrived at the new room, it was NOT an “upgrade” as promised initially and the beds were separate and not one bed for my husband and I. At this stage we were so exhausted, we just gave up and took what we received - at least there weren’t blood stains. Same levels of hygiene were found in this room as well. The showers in ALL the rooms are terrible. I tried in the previous room, the new room and the rest of the family were in 2 more rooms. NONE of the showers were able to maintain a steady water temperature - it would alternate between freezing cold or scalding hot constantly. The one room that could (blood stained room) maintain it, had water pressure so low, I could barely wash soap off of my body. Further, each room is meant to receive a complementary water bottle everyday. As we didn’t trust the hygiene of the cleaners as seen by the state of the rooms, we requested no house keeping while we were there which meant no water bottle delivery. This is understandable, so we called reception to ask for water on the last day. They said no problem, we’ll send someone up. Once again we waited ONE HOUR. Nobody. We ended up going out, coming back, still nothing. We called again. We waited 30minutes (had to chase them up a couple of times). Man comes up to our door and asks for payment. We explain the situation and he says to talk to reception. So we call reception and tell him that we haven’t had housekeeping in 3 days (clearly they don’t have a record of this and once again from a hygiene perspective this is ALARMING), and so we would just like the complimentary bottle of water. The man proceeds to say we still need to be charged for extra bottles of water. After an all out argument, they say they want no trouble and gave us a bottle of water - all that for a bottle of water that we were meant to receive anyway?! (And we didn’t even ask for the bottle of water we didn’t receive for day 2!) I’ve never experienced service so shocking. Also half of the key cards they give you never work, they keep breaking or you need to keep jiggling them in the door to make them work. Smoking is also allowed in the rooms so everything smells strongly of smoke - be careful for those with asthma/allergies. Strongly recommend AGAINST staying in this hotel unless you don’t care for cold/burning showers, poor hygiene and enjoy waiting hours for things to be done. I’ve never had to write such a scathing review for any business. So disappointed.

Provisionally booked this hotel on the basis that there was a pool, which shows on their website and when we phoned they advised they had a pool and it was open. Arrived at the hotel, none of the reception staff had a clue and the pool wasn’t open. Poor organisation.

Location is not the best especially for families and long stays , it is located on a hill ,between a bunch of hills and villa , restaurants are far considering it not a straight road. There is a mini market and pharmacy across the street only . It is about 45 min away from queen alia road and not 30min as mentioned in the hotel description, add on it the road to it is always croweded. Cleaningless is not the best either for a 4 star hotel . Sheets and pillows are good and clean , but carpets ,kettles , other things are not . Personal care and toilatries there is only the basic soap needs ( soap bar , shampoo , shower gel ) no tooth brush ,bath cap , earbuds . Breakfast there has a wide variety but the pastries are not good (hard) . They take a long time to answer for cleaning. It s always better to ask someone who tried the hotel rather than depending on booking reviews.

Nice little cafe exists in the grand floor, its offers a variety of food and drinks, prices are affordable but the staff is not always available, we had to wait long enough to find someone to take our order, overall it cosy and quiet place to enjoy a good time with family and friends.

Our stay at the Harris palace hotel was not comfortable to say the least. There were many drawbacks and disappointments. 1. pool was the size of a paddling pool. Very small in size and shallow. Most days it had swimming lessons going on, and the little size it was, we were restricted to only remain in half the size of the pool which was even more frustrating. 2. Level 5 is the equivalent of a nightclub. It holds functions for occasions. There is no consideration for guests staying at the hotel. Music is blasting most nights and it is difficult to get sleep. 3. FOOD WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. If you are expecting decent, tasty food then AVOID this hotel at all costs. I have been to many hotels and even 3 star hotels served better food.

Good hotel for business tour, but not for solo tourist. Aa this area is not a market area. Quality of room and hotel is good enough.. wifi is good. Reception with smile and fast. Little bit problems with bathroom. Floor always wet, water not moving fast ( room 324)

  • 1/5 Ray Z. 1 year ago on Google
There is no consideration for guests staying at the hotel. Is difficult to get sleep. One day calls about electrical problems from the staff to move you to a different hotel which there was no electrical problems just over booked. And another day loud noise with no considerations for guest. Started before 9 am waking up from banging noise coming from the roof of the hotel. Very unprofessional. At least do maintenance at or after 12 o'clock which is check-out times.
