This hotel need a lot of improvement,, room service is below average , always missing items, toilet paper , napkins , emptying trash and supplying enough towels ,,, Beds mattress are horrible and stiff , and if you need headache use there pillows Room does not have any drawer to put your belongings, so actually you live out of your suit case, I reserved superior room , paying 10 extra JD per night , I found out superior mean bigger size only , No descents chair to sit on Breakfast buffet is really poor and most items are left over , coffee machine was out of service. It is not worth the money I paid for breakfast Reception area smells like a cigarette barn I m giving 2 star only for location

My family and I stayed here a couple days ago. Our original booking was for 6 people and our reservation email stated the same as well. When we got to the hotel, we were told that the reservation was for only two people. Then after we got to our rooms, it was disgusting. Also, when we left the room the next day to go out into the city, the housekeepers didn’t clean the rooms at all. They didn’t put new towels or give us toilet paper or tissue paper. There was so much security for no reason. Staff was rude and ignored do not enter signals. When we went to breakfast, we were told that only 4 people were included in breakfast, even though the booking was “updated” to 6. Worst stay ever. Do not recommend wasting money for what’s really a 1 star place.

Definitely this hotel doesn't meet the Ibis standard. Hotels looks down and dull. Rooms are slightly larger than normal Ibis Hotel rooms but the amenities and room appearance definitely not to Ibis standard. Even Ibis is a 3 star hotep but normally rooms will be nice and neat, but the rooms here are dark and dull. First day had a bad and unbearable experience where the receptionist worked in evening (13 May), he knock my door twice (no bells) and before i responded, he immediately open the door using his room card. Luckily i was wearing clothes. What if i was bathing or doing something. I asked him what he is doing, then immediately he said sorry and he wrongly open the room door as he supposed to open the next door room. Even though he call again and apologise but what he have done on first day i felt unsecured and also lock my door. Location is fine..walking distance to a small shopping mall and restaurant. Definitely i will NOT come again. This hotel is recommended for single traveller or looking for a budget hotel. Breakfast is the same food everyday. No changes on menu. Room size is big and old amenities.

Pros: The hotel staff are very kind, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you. The rooms were attended to by room service and stocks resupplied in the room. The hotel is located near a shopping center and not too far from the city center. In addition, the hotel is secured by security guards 24/7. Cons: The hotel is in serious need of a renovation as it is evident one hasn't been done since the 1990's. The decor is falling apart and every surface is scratched and damaged throughout the hotel. Avoid the breakfast buffet as the food is cold and inedible. Comment: Taxi drivers congregate at the front of the hotel where they offer "girls" to those coming out of the hotel. I was warned by multiple people that these taxi drivers are part of a criminal gang. I am not sure as to why the hotel isn't doing enough to clear them away from the hotel.

I’m still staying here in this IBIS Amman, sadly to say the front desk service is so poor. For instance to get some coffee packets, I’ve called front desk 4 times and still not getting anything. The ladies and gentlemen there will say will send it now and been calling every 15 minutes , still didn’t get any coffee/ Nescafé packets. The shower is so disgusting not clean at all😢 Cucumber service here definitely not satisfied! Location is great, but will NOT stay here and will NOT recommend this place to anyone. I wish the administration will take it serious to resolve those issues.

I recently booked at the ibis Amman and was hesitant to book due to the negative reviews I read online. However, after contacting the property, I was reassured that I would have a comfortable stay and decided to book. Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was far from comfortable. The front desk employee, Noor, was unwelcoming and didn't say a single word upon my arrival. When I asked to check-in quickly, she didn't show any attention or interest in helping me and even shouted at me when I rang the bell for assistance. Throughout all my travels, I have never felt as disrespected as I did at ibis Amman. It was clear that Noor had a problem with my nationality, as she was exceedingly rude after seeing my passport. Despite my complaints to the duty manager and front desk manager, Noor was not disciplined or made to apologize. As a result, I cancelled my reservation, lost two hours of my time, and had to pay extra for lodging elsewhere. It's a shame that ibis Amman failed to employ and train basic communication skills to their front office staff, and I will never stay there again.

Ibis Hotel in Amman City provided a satisfying stayrooms were clean and tidy, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The staff spoke English, enhancing communication. Conveniently, Ubers were readily available throughout the day. It's worth noting that the hotel is approximately a 40-minute ride from the airport, making transportation accessible for travelers.

Too much furniture damage & unclean blankets. I love to stay at Ibis when I travel abroad, however, this time seems to be this is a different Ibis from the one I know. The price was 41 JOD without breakfast 😃 Wth is that with a tiny room? I am sorry to say that guys and I filled the form and received an apology email, but I had to share my experience wider to make sure that nobody will have the same experience I had at Ibis.

Very cosy, simple and clean, friendly people who work there and nice positions Wi-Fi, plasma tv, comfortable bed, refrigerator and nice bathroom. Opposite is the Amman mall with a lot of small stores and big supermarket.

I have stayed in ibis in many countries, Jerusalem, Istanbul, other European countries, but ibis Amman was not the best, very outdated furniture, not clean, heating system was not working well, it’s in a very good location, if you don’t care about quality or cleanliness. The reception staff are very good and helpful

Rooms could be little cleaner. Showing wear and tear. Comfortable bed. Nice linens. Busy street but room sufficiently quiet. Overall, fine enough place to sleep.

The location is good as you can find main roads within walking distance, breakfast is also good. Overall a better experience than room service, called many times but no one answered during late night.

Location was good, hotel has a bar and opposite Amaan Mall that we ate quite often, in the food court was a thai place food was reasonably priced and tasty. Ibis hotel food was quite repetitive and bland

  • 1/5 Muhallab S. 4 months ago on Google
The place is super dirty, i doubt if it is safe for health to stay in such rooms where there is mold on the walls, with the worst air circulation system, since once we turn the air condition on, the room becomes very humid. Moreover, they lied about the amentities in the room they indicated that there is an ironing facility in the room, to find out that they dont provide it in the room but they do it with extra charge.

Ibis Amman provided a delightful and comfortable stay during my visit to Amman, Jordan. The hotel's modern amenities, friendly staff, and convenient location made it an excellent choice for exploring the city. The clean and well-appointed rooms offered a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing, and I especially appreciated the hotel's attention to guest satisfaction

Helpful staff, prompt service at reception. Due to a lack of guests, there was only a set menu for dinner, which gave little choice and meant fast food such as burgers and pizza, or grilled chicken/salmon. Rooms had good firm mattress on double bed. Only had course bath towels, no bath mat, or hand / face towels. The shower drain wasn't clear, hence the build-up of water and leakage out of the cubicle. Carpets were worn in need of replacement.

AVOID at all costs unless hygiene is not a concern! Here are the things went wrong: 1. The pillows have red / makeup marks on them. The front looked fine but when we turned them over, we found the surprises. We had to sleep without pillows. 2. Bedsheet did not even cover the mattress - photo attached 3. Yellow stain on the bathroom tiles - gross! 4. Towel hanger fell off the wall 5. The iron leaks from the electrical cord area - it’s dangerous 6. All front desk receptionists had attitudes when we asked for help

Stayed for only 1 short night, so ok for the price. But if not, rooms very old, the mattress very bad. The breakfast very simple, the coffee machine not working (not only that day but for a long period… if so, why don't you take it out from the buffet?). As said before, for a very short and cheap stay, it is ok (4 star rating goes for that)

IBIS Amman has room for improvement. The hotel shows its age with old furnishings and a noticeable smell. The lack of maintenance is apparent throughout the property. While it may serve for a brief stay, guests seeking comfort and cleanliness might find it disappointing.

5 stars for its location. The restaurant in the hotel works 24h/7. You have the mall in front of you. The main Street is only 100m away. Plenty of restaurants, exchange offices, and more, near by.

Everything was perfect starting with arrival experience with lovely and welcoming cheerful receptionist. The clean room and the ambiance of the hotel. I feel like home. Thank you all for the great hospitality.

We booked a triple room, what was provided is a double room with a third bed, which made the room essential all bed with a narrow walkway at the end of the beds. The sign for the hotel out front states "one and two bed rooms". The hotel would not work to make the issue better and EVERY inquiry results in literally this response, "We are a 3 star hotel." Which is a 2 star in Europe or North America. I do not recommend this hotel, we left and went to the Thousand Nights just around the corner.

Recently, I stayed at this hotel and was greatly disappointed with my experience. Upon entering my room, I found it to be dark and the carpet damp. Additionally, I observed leakage all over the bathroom, and the bed was not comfortable. To make matters worse, the towels provided were old and worn. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bad. Just bad. Low quality stay. Overall not comfortable at all. Very small rooms and bathrooms. Not very clean. The cleaning team seems lazy and do the bare minimum. We drinked from the coffee cups 2 times in a row, they never cleaned or changed them. We had to clean them ourselves. When they do the bed, they just trow the pillows left and right. No attention to details. Water of shower and sink is pool water 😅?! You can notice a very strong chlorine smell in the water!!! I got pimples and rashes all over my skin and face. Ugly weird design (who put BRIGHT ORANGE in a bedroom???). We will not be back. I don’t recommend.

We have stayed at several Ibis hotels in the past, but unfortunately this hotel did not live up to the standards of an Ibis hotel or the Accor Brand. We were not looking or expecting much for a hotel room, but we would not recommend staying here. The room was small and run-down. We were originally planning to stay here one more night at the end of our trip but cancelled the second reservation and extended our stay at the Dead Sea. No photos taken. It was worthwhile to photograph

I came with the EF tour group. After an insanely long day of walking, I came back to the room and suddenly my key didn’t work. To fix the issue they gave me a broken key. I literally cannot get in my room which has my passport and all belongings. The elevators barely work. The rooms smell bad. There were several long black hairs in the shower.

I would have given this a higher rating at first. The rooms are comfy and fair sized. Nice location, there is a great restaurant right behind that kind of looks like a castle. Mall right across the street and great falafel place just down the road. WiFi was ok. Trying to play videos it lagged and stuttered but loaded other sites fine. The food was fairly good tasting (had some amazing hashbrowns) however 4 of our group got food poisoning and were very sick from it.

Conveniently situated this busy hotel offers comfortable, clean beds which, for me, is the most important thing when I'm on holiday. The bathrooms were clean and the showers powerful. The only downside was the food at the evening meal. On the upside the Ibis has a very well presented bar if you wish to enjoy a drink before dinner (one place in Amman where you can get alcoholic drinks). However, we found a fabulous restaurant very close by, Reem Al Bawadi where you can enjoy choosing from a great menu at very reasonable prices. Opposite the hotel is a small shopping Mall that includes a supermarket where we purchased our essentials such as large bottles of water. Would also recommend a little shop in there where you can buy gifts and local crafts at a very good price without the need to haggle! Would highly recommend a stay at the Ibis.

The rooms are small and old. We stayed in 3 different rooms and they were still bad . Water leaks from every shower. The location is good cause you can easily walk to shopping. The people were good, the buffet wasn't much and not kept hot.

Nice hotel in Amman Jordan, but their food is awful. I don't like it compared to our Nigerian dishes. There's a great improvement on the meals/dishes, I'm happy my review was taken seriously. Keep up the good work Ibis Amman 👍🏿.

The hotel urgently needs renovation, especially the bathrooms. In my bathroom there was plenty of mold and real green mold! Cleanliness is a serious issue in this hotel, too!

  • 4/5 Ahmed S. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is outstanding at everything, wifi, hospitality, lobby, restaurant, and location except for the room itself. It's not as good as it shows in the pictures. However still good experience and will definitely come back again.

Stayed for almost one week, cleanliness level not up to par, aminities weren't given until the 5th day of stay, only 1 elevator is working making Covid protocols harder to adhere to. Staff were nice but not as attentive as they should be in the tourism industry. Some days room wasn't cleaned. Overall the stay is good enogh to pass by only.

The location of the hotel is good, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rate is great for what you get. Excellent for short business trips

  • 1/5 Shaher Abu M. 2 years ago on Google
Elevators were not working, only one service elevator was working for all guests and workers for 6 days, covid-19 restrictions were not applied , most of workers, staff and guest not wearing face mask without minimum responsibility from hotel, I reported this matter to hotel management with no response, reservation desk unprofessional, cleaning was very bad, the only important thing for them is collecting money from guest regardless of the services provided. Bad hotel

I wish I can give less than 1 star . I had really bad experience. The room was dirty and smell of toilet smell and rooms are too small. The receptionist told me the breakfast was included but in the morning they told me I have to pay extra money and it’s not included. I would sleep in the street rather than staying this hotel . I don’t recommend it at all . تجربه سيئة جدا جدا جدا لا انصح فيه 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Worst hotel ever, they do not respect reservations time at all, rooms are very dirty, any hotel rather than Ibis even if it was rated as one star it will be much better than this hotel. I think sleeping in the street is better than this hotel.

I have to admit that IBIS Hotel Amman, while it is still not a 5-Stars hotel, yet I find very convenient for a stay in Amman, especially if the main purpose is a room to spend the night in, while roaming the whole day ... Good for road runners :) Rooms are comfy enough, food is good enough and stuff is really family ... Room service is very good .. Carage and parking is convenient ... Security stuff were very polite .. ( I hope they can manage to install better gate pass facility. Current one - barrier - is time consuming on entry and exit. Not for hotels). Special thanks go to: Noor at Reception, and also Amer and Adele.. they were - all - really helpful, polite and welcoming. The staff in catering were really friendly, especially Ziad Al-Bustanji. I recommend this hotel, for a stay, especially if you don't have kids. Worth it.

First and foremost, I must commend the hotel on its exceptional breakfast offerings. The culinary experience each morning was truly outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The dining staff were attentive and ensured a pleasant start to my day. However, there were a couple of incidents during my stay that left me somewhat disappointed. One of my requests was for an iron and an ironing board to ensure my clothes remained presentable during my business trip. Regrettably, the hotel staff provided only the iron and informed me that ironing boards were not available. Curiously, a colleague of mine who was staying on the third floor of the same hotel received both an iron and an ironing board without any issue. This inconsistency in service left me somewhat perplexed and questioning the hotel's commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. Another area that could use improvement was the lighting in the room. The available lighting was insufficient for working on a laptop comfortably. I requested an additional light source or a lamp to enhance the illumination, but I was informed that the hotel did not possess lamps, and the lighting in the room was standard. This response was disappointing, as a well-lit workspace is crucial for business travelers, and I had hoped for more flexibility in accommodating such requests.

Our patience was exhausted because of the poor service at the hotel so that we could have a good rest from the tour, but when we arrived at the hotel, when we entered the room, the cleanliness was very poor, only the bed was made without a vacuum on the floor, then there were no towels, this is what happens everyday. 9 days of staying in this hotel with no proper service..

Ideally located close to Amman Mall & a host of eateries nearby. Room was clean, comfortable & well maintained. Plenty of sitting area - open air too! Adele at front desk supetvsiot was extremely welcoming - made me feel right at home instantly. Mr Lamaa' the manager - extremely courteous, professional & efficient in resolving all I'm sure I'll stay here again & again.
