It is a truly magnificent location for almost every type of event you can possibly imagine. They provide all the possible amenities and security In order to make you feel safe. A true gem for the city of Athens. Easy to get to plenty of parking plenty of restrooms water food. Whether it is you decide to come here for a walk or a stroll on a date or a concert, a cultural event, or a speech. Anything that takes place here happens within the highest possible standards.

The best thing that has happened in Athens over the past decade. A culturally rich park for all interests and ages. From the National Opera to live music festivals in the summer, featuring Jazz, Classical, Electronic ensembles to yoga classes in the garden, it is a wonderful place to spend the day. The National Library also has an amazing selection of books.

This makes always a fun day out. The only place in Athens with such ambience. Negative point, the lack of access by public means

Top destination in Athens. Forget the Acropolis: this unbelievable public facility housing the Greek National Opera and a magnificent public library is a testament to the vigour of the modern Greek soul. The building is Renzo Piano's ingenious agora: a crossroads for locals, visitors, artists, scholars, basically anyone in need of inspiration. The views of the Gulf of Corinth and the Athenian mountains are not to be missed. The ample monumental design is reminiscent of Washington DC: No matter how full it gets it seems like there is always room for more.

A hidden gem. Take the tram to get there. An amazing roof garden to walk through with ancient olive trees. An oasis in the concrete of Pireaus.

Superb place I just got informed that next year it will be delivered to the state... I just hope they keep it as is and not make it worst as they always do on all public spaces

This park is vast and offers various interactive spaces, such as the Sound Garden and a fun-filled playground for all ages to enjoy. The opportunities for exploration and engagement are truly impressive! 🎶🏞️ While the park offers a great experience, one aspect that could enhance it even further is the addition of shaded areas. Given the summer heat, having designated spots where visitors can take a break and seek shelter from the sun would be a perfect addition. It would provide a comfortable respite and make the park even more inviting for everyone. ☀️🌿

A beautiful place large enough to hold an artificial lake, olive trees grove, many cafes, library and a children's reading space, a must visit place. The only bad thing is the gift shop that has irrelevant objects.

Love going here. Great views, relaxing big open space, good for sunsets, often events going on, nice gardens. Good for strolls or hanging out. Part of modern Athens! Enjoyed the festive ice rink over winter. Nice fountain display with music too.

It is a large park with space for many activities. It can be pretty useful for permanent residents of Athens. There is a mini bus that drives you there from Syntagma square. I'm not what it has to offer to one time visitors, though, except for the exhibitions and concerts that take place at times.

The Park is very modern and worth a walk and a drink in one of the multiple bars.. The only downside is the parking price, very unreasonable when there are no events... If possible park outside the building..

One of the most great offering semi public establishments in Athens. Not a historic one! It's quite, peaceful and it has to offer events and happenings, from a summer old movie night, to scientific structures demonstrating simple physics. Also the Hellenic (Greek) National Library is being housed in the main building. There is a payed parking lot building right across one of the main entrances of the main building.

I adored this place, it was heavenly to be surrounded by 1 million books going up floors and floors. The design is just simple fantastic! I was very lucky to be able to meet one of the architects on this building AND she gave me a tour. It is breathtaking, from the layout, to the views to the functionality of it, and wow even the parkade had its own wow-factor. I also loved the cafe, the museum shop, and the evening walk around the whole rooftop garden. A garden in the middle of the city with views of skylines and freeways as well as the sea, and all this while walking amongst ancient olive trees. Amazing.

Very nice place to go for a walk, cycling or any outdoor activities. There is a huge 8-floor library as well. Many different events and live concerts at the modern Opera are taking place here, you may find more info in the program. Last time I went for Max Cooper electronic music producer and it was an amazing show - a combination of experimental music and visual show was impressive. I highly recommend to visit Stavros Niarchos for a cultural experience or just to come for a walk, there is coffee shop and hot chocolate spot available now during Christmas time celebrations.

New Years Eve - Fireworks, Light & Water show was absolutely brilliant. Undercover parking facilities. National library here is spacious and spread across 2 levels. Ice skating available at one end of the canal. Cafeterias with outdoor seating available. Just an amazing place.

The place offering opportunities for cycling, running, jogging etc. You can enjoy the coffee there with spectacular view, visit library or study in beautiful and silent place. Big space with good views but it's not touched with details. The park is very hot in the summer. There is no shadow because the trees are very short. There are more security employees than visitors witch is kind of strange. Maybe we didn't choose good time to go there because a lot of the things were closed.

Pros: Very beautiful place. Great buildings, great view from above. Conference hall is also very nice. Impressive lake and fountain. Generally, you can enjoy a very relaxed walk around. Garden is beautiful. Cons: Hard to find place in restaurants, long queue in food/coffee kiosks, shows and activities offered need improvement, children places have the old fashioned soil on the floor instead of soft material.

The best place to visit around the Athens. Very beautiful scenery with a big library a beautiful bar and beautiful surroundings. It is also adjacent with an exercise area along with a running area. During the summer the park host a very large inflatable screen for children movies. A beautiful park at a very convenient location in Athens. Easily accessible bu transit or by your own vehicle, it owns a big parking. There are many things to do, picnic, walk/run, eat/drink, go shopping, visit the huge library. It also hosts a variety of art forms (live shows, theater, cinema, exhibitions) and seasona events.

During the difficult times the world is going through this place saved my soul...only positive vibes...for students, families, children and older folks too. 5 🌟

Relaxed area to browse through the library and just have a read, there are a few exhibitions on site that are interesting to have a look. The top terras, or lighthouse provides a nice view of the harbour and city. The fountain show is short but does provide entertainment when outside drinking a coffee from one of the food trucks. The shuttle bus service is perfect and free.

Out of this world. Culture, architecture and archaeology meet in one stunning place, dedicated to the arts and custodian of the 'books' A 22nd century library looking after historic ancient books.

One of the best cultural places in the world. I was totally amazed. Library, theatre, free events for public. I was lucky to be there where live orchestra play for Disney animations - amazing. Besides that the view from the top, sunset is spectacular. I will be back there for sure. WOW

Wonderful experience! Quiet! Music in the hall! Many round tables with chairs around the tables! Café shops and drinks! There is a free-to-use binocular to see the view of Athens from a great distance!

Beautiful place, modern and elegant. I should be rank as a place in Athens as a must to be visiting. Library, Opera whole complex of buildings are so beautiful. Very helpful and friendly staff willing to help. Near by taxi pick up and drop point, bus stop. 10/10. Restaurants are a bit too expensive for me , medium-sized tea about 2.50€, taxi from city centre 8-10€ each way. Anyway, it's worth it

Great place for families with kids or anybody else. The view of the coastline is amazing and the musical playground is great fun (enough to make a moody teenager enjoy themselves). Don't miss the light show at the reflective pool (every half hour)when the night falls.

this is my favorite place in athens, I've been there so many times I've lost count. it's so calming, it's beautiful, and it's just amazing as a book reader. it has great shows, movies, concerts and more, it also allows roller skating!!! I urge you to go there, you'll see how awesome it is! though unfortunately it's very far from the metro, but thankfully A2 bus stops around 10 minutes away, and it takes around 20 minutes from syntagma to go there! returning back will be a little difficult, I have to take a bus around 15 minutes away which takes 40 minutes to arrive to syntagma, but it's very worth it.
