I loved the place!! The most aesthetic beach area I've been too. Everything was so pretty, from the lamps, to the umbrellas, to the tanning beds.

We ordered Salmon pasta and Risotto. Both tasted very bad. The Salmon had a bitter taste and had a very strange taste (as if it is frozen for long time and not fresh at all). I never had such taste. The supervisor argued that this is fresh salmon and it comes with this taste. It was hard to believe this. The Risotto was also bitter and a bit salty. We asked to replace at least the Salmon pasta by another plate but they did not agree. I was very disappointed with such a behaviour. Come on, for such a restaurant, it is just a plate! Probably other plates taste better. Anw, I will never go to this place and do not recommend it. The only thing I liked is the location and sea view.

It was a very bad experience! First with the hospitality and the welcoming of the staff at the reception. Very rude! One of the rooms we were supposed to have it at 2 pm we got it at 6 pm instead! The room spelled really bad! Sewage smell and they did not do anything about it. The service as well is very poor. Every-time we ask for anything it takes them hours to respond! I do not recommend visiting this hotel at all. For the pool it was nice but rooms I do not recommend and will not visit again! Breakfast was very limited as well. Beds so uncomfy!

The decor of the Hotel is very nice. And it's very clean. The cleaning staff is very friendly BUT I wouldn't recommend it at all. We booked our stay for April. One day before arrival they called us to inform us that they are fixing the pool and they would upgrade us. We arrived and they renovated the whole Hotel it was loud and messy everywhere. The beach wasn't clear at all, no sand, only big stones and waste. We refused to stay, they gave us a voucher for our deposit. So we went to use the voucher later on. They charged us an extra bed for our 3rd child (5J) eventhough we didn't need it, as she can sleep with us. But the worst for us was that the difference from the voucher (293$) to our stay (300$) was 7$ and they made sure we would pay for it. Instead of being generous and making a nice gesture, as they messed up before. Kids aren't allowed in the bigger pool. Wifi is very bad. And no tea or coffee in the rooms. Very disappointing, as normally in Lebanon you would find great hospitality and generosity. Not here. Sorry to say that.

Worst experience of my life first we took a room it was $200 for a night and the room smelled so bad and the beds were uncomfy. We couldn’t sleep all night and the bathroom didn’t have tissues we wanted to take a bed on the ocean but we had to pay $100 and if anyone wants to come to your room they have to pay $20 and the pool closes at seven other pools close at nine and when the pool open I found a cigarette In the pool The worst experience I have ever done would never go again And service is super bad

The experience is nice that's what pushed the rate for 3. Yet the food is average, so don't be disappointed! We ordered Pasta el Pollo the pasta was over cooked and had almost no taste! I ordered a salmon plate, they told me it was out of stock (Another reason to give it an average rate) My partner had grilled chicken breast it was good and the sauce was good also. Their rooms are recently renovated and their toilets are modern. 5 / 5 Their family suites are spacious, include a safe box, a washing machine and dryer. 5 /5 Their restaurant is very good. 5 / 5 The pools and bar are very nice. Could use a bit more renovation. 3.8 / 5 The shower cabins are old and require a lot more renovation. 2 / 5 The sea access is great, and clean water. The beach requires a bit more cleanup, maybe garbage bins and some signs for awareness to keep it clean. 3.5 / 5 Overall staff and service are very good and supportive. 4.8 / 5 Additional areas for improvement: Investment into the Internet. Ironing machines, especially for family suites. The outside of the building facing East, requires a paint job for a better attractive look and some lively colors.

We called in to see if we were able to get into the resort as we were 2 guys and they told us it was completely fine. Upon arrival they were very rude and stuck up. Completely disregarded our phone call and had no interest in helping us what so ever. Some old brat was extremely racist toward us and she asked us to stay 3 meters away from her while having a conversation. Do not recommend .

The music is very loud and trashy songs. The waiters are inexperienced. The food is average. The delay for some dishes is unacceptable. We had to wait 30 minutes for fried fish (bizri) which is supposed to come first to the table. They had only one kind of fish even though it is on the sea. They did not allow our 70 year mother to enter without making her pay even though she does not swim. I do not recommend at all.

We did a reservation and then we were informed that only bikinis swimwear allowed, this is a way to keep away modest clients because they don’t look cool on the beach for some Lebanese places. After escalating the issue to a supervisor I explained to him that my wife is pregnant and she might like to wear bikinis he informed me that it’s not possible and he had to apologize.

I took my kids to ocean blue for a relaxing couples of days and it all went from relaxation to stress I have been staying with them every summer for the last 5 yeas and it was a good family place till this time Kids r not very welcome there anymore Food is overpriced and not yummy Some of the employees were very friendly but few of them were just trying to be bossy and force their way Well that was unfortunately my experience and personally I won't be back there

It was my first time staying at this resort. I saw that it had good reviews online, so I decided to try it out. I came with my niece for a vacation for one night, and we loved it so much that we extended the trip to two nights. Everything at this resort was amazing. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were modern, clean, stocked with clean drinking water and bath essentials. The hotel was well maintained, clean, and the staff were very nice and helpful. EspeciallyJulian, who was working the front desk the night of check in and our morning when we extended. He was the best host, he was helpful in suggesting places to sight see, and always ensured that we had everything we needed to be comfortable in the hotel. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating that over looked the ocean, which was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was also so clean. The hotel stay included breakfast, which was a large buffet, full of many fresh and delicious options for the guests to enjoy. We enjoyed spending our mornings sitting at a table looking at the turquoise water and listening to the waves. The infinity pool was also very beautiful and clean. We especially enjoyed the swim up snack bar, that is open till 7pm (but they close up a bit earlier, so order everything you want before 6pm). The hotel has its own private beach that was so clean and amazingly beautiful with soft sand and many sun beds. Overall it was the most perfect stay and we didn't want to leave.

I love it, I’m there almost everyday and the beach is so clean there are 2 pools there one for adults and one for children so if you don’t really like kids around you can just go to the adults pool and also sit in the bar which is inside the pool. And at night it becomes a restaurant I recommend you going there.

We stayed for 1 week in this hotel. The rooms are so clean and there is always service for the rooms once you ask for and for free. The breakfast was included and it is really delicious. The location is really closed to everything in Jbeil. And near the beach and had a swimming pool but wasn't opened when we were there. Next time i will be in the area i will book it for sure.

Se by Ocean Blue is one of the few restaurants on the beach that can make you feel you’re in a real restaurant 😀 usually food on the beach end up with a burger or a sandwich because you’re not tempted to eat anything else! We supposed to have a reservation there and when we called, they told us that we could sit wherever we want to sit if the place is free. When we went there, they told us the first row which where empty is reserved and that we could sit there only for 30 min that we move on to another table bz the first row is reserved which no one is supposed to reserve. In addition, the man told me eno he have the right to move us as we are puppies from 1 table to another. I wanna tell him that first of all to be respectful with clients. Second, to know which persons he is speaking with, we were both doctors coming to celebrate my birthday after a long day of work and not to beg for 10 min this person who never ended arguing with us and i advice him to smile more. Finally, we left the place after he became agressive talking thinking him with the lady wirh him. it was a Saturday night in September. weather was chilling. we booked a table with the view of the beach. the welcoming of staff was so professional. menu was varied, from seafood to Lebanese dishes and even international platters. this place is known for its seafood but that night we didn't want to have a heavy dinner so we limited our food to the kale chicken salad and quinoa chicken salad, french fries and edamame. rose wine and light beer. everything was tasty, service was fast and waiters were so helpful explaining few items on the menu. will definitely go back again, but this time i will try the seafood mezze. highly recommended!!

Having finally got around to dinning at Se restaurant at Ocean Blue I was totally disappointed 😞.. Currently staying at Ocean Blue the hotel thought I would try the restaurant . My girlfriend and I arrived at about 8.30pm we were greeted and asked where we would like to sit. We were then shown to our table and asked to scan the QR for the menu which we did at about 8.40 we placed our order I ordered grilled fish quinoa and my GF had grilled chicken breast The place itself looked amazing and they had a total of 15 diners if that.. I began to get a bit bothered as at 9.05 still no food .. at 9.10 we called one of the waiters and asked about our food .. At 9.15 the food arrived 😒... where do I begin .. ok so my GF's food looked like it had come from a hospital .. no wait hospitals now do better food .. the chicken was bone dry the veg was just weird and I guess the wedges was the only edible thing there. My fish was charred ok burnt and very dry the word over cooked seems better fitting. The Quinoa and hazel nut with pomegranate was ??? With all of this I got a lumpy small sauce plate which was supposedly lemon mint sauce ? ??? The food was terrible 😕 I guess the only good thing is that I from the UK and paying 112000 LBP is about £12 nothing really ... Beautiful location but food need work or don't order main dish. Or Better still for a full lebanese experience visit.: Feniqia or Locanda Both in Byblos....

If I could give 0 stars it would be well deserved, my wife and I stayed for one night and then followed some family. Now everything was fine until the second day. With the second day my uncle and father went into the ocean and sat for a bit and then they came out, they didn’t go into the pool or anything they just sat on the chairs relaxing until one of the “management personnel” came up to my uncle saying that he can’t be wearing “sweats” when in actual reality it’s part of his swimwear and part of the reasoning that he doesn’t wear swimming shorts is due to because he has one missing foot that he lost during the war here in LEBANON! we were not looking for remorse we just wanted to enjoy our time and spend time together at what we thought a nice resort. Now I may be wrong but I’m sure this should be against humanitarian rights especially for someone who fought and sacrificed in defending their country that they come back to every single year to enjoy and to see remaining family. Management are despicable and have no professional sense at all, all regarding because of swimwear we are leaving a day early. Also when management said that we signed a paper saying swim wear is obligatory the paper is not specific on which swimwear is obligatory and what is not (ei. Swim shorts, bikini etc…). So do yourselves a favour and drive a little further North to go to tiaga which have nicer rooms and offer small villas for bigger families because “ocean blue” is very discriminatory to a wide variety of people of religion and disabilities.

Booked months in advance 4 rooms - got a call the day before saying rooms aren’t ready so we were upgraded. We show up to the hotel only to be told we are not welcome there due to wearing a scarf and being Muslim. We flew from Australia to stay there and the discrimination is disgusting.

Thr service deserves 4/5 however the changing room and cleanliness is 2/5 The place overall is 3/5

I reserved a dome one week prior and I chose a quinoa salad and soft drinks instead of a bottle of wine . Only one day before the reservation they told me that they changed the menu. There is just two soft drinks and tuna salad instead of the quinoa. I went there I asked for fire to sit outside and they said they are out of logs “because of the situation”. When you are paying 1.2M lbp you can’t tell me you don’t have logs. Bad experience I don’t recommend it !!

Worst experience ever! Firstly, the service at front desk was absolutely appalling! Upon our arrival, we were greeted in a very unprofessional manner and the staff member we were dealing with was extremely rude and arrogant. We were also told that we aren’t allowed to wear a one-piece costume, only two-piece. Why? Since when was this a hotel policy? In any hotel? It doesn’t stop here! Our hotel door was left open or room service had walked In and didn’t close behind them OR someone had entered our room without permission! How does the staff react? No care what so ever! No one from front desk offered to come upstairs and have a look! They also claimed that we could’ve left the door open and that nobody from their end can enter the room so we asked for camera footage but were told that there were no cameras in the corridors! BIG LIE! The corridors are filled with cameras! I will definitely not be coming back to this hotel! What a shame! Honestly, a one star rating is too much for this hotel.

The pool is clean. The sea is full of rocks and not that clean (surely not the best sea to visit). And the prices are a little above average. But overall it's a great place I would recommend people to go with their friends their and enjoy the view of the sea with a small drink.

Lovely resort, suitable for families. They have a big pool and a smaller one for kids. There is access to the sandy beach. Buffet breakfast is included in the rate. They have two different food menus, one at the restaurant and another one beside the pool.

Only come here for the beach/pool access, as a day trip. Such a waste of money to stay here. Terrible and rude service, and tasteless, dry and highly processed breakfast buffet which gave me an upset stomach. The only staff that were actually nice were housekeeping. Host/hostesses, waiters and reception very rude and unprofessional! Also, they were doing construction work from 7 am to noon while we were there, so we didn’t get much sleep or time to relax in the room (even though we called in twice about the issue). Never coming again

I love that there is a specific pool.for adults only and then a pool for families with small.kids and also a.small.pool with little kids ... the sea view and the sea is amazing & super clean ... the music is spot on ! as for the restaurant, it's one of my recent favorite restaurants food wise and view wise ! don't miss out on this spot ! Def try it out!

One of the best family resorts in Lebanon. Their staff is very helpful and will make sure you get what you need. Their rooms are spacious and newly renovated, that includes the bathrooms. The bar could use some remodeling but overall it’s a good place to be. Good food and great music.
