For as many Highly rated reviews that are here, I must say I can not be one of them . Service was good . But the food … For $20 brisket … you’re basically paying for 70%fat alongside with a rock of a (what i think was a supposed to be corn bread muffin ? ) Also , the Pork platter .. (Pork mashed up with rice , and coleslaw ?) You would think a pork platter would be pork with separate sides , not all mashed together right ? Another person in our party ordered a steak with soggy hash browns and something in the soda 🤷🏻‍♀️ Drinks: Hairy Buffalo = Meh 😑 Peach margarita = ok . Strawberry Marg= No flavor whatsoever . I don’t normally leave reviews on places , But i figured when you are looking for a place to eat and you see this one has the most reviews … don’t be fooled by the amount of reviews . Looks can be deceiving 🤷🏻‍♀️ Try someplace else next time maybe

If I am in the area again, I may give them another chance. I arrived about an hour before closing and they were crowded because they only had half the restaurant open for seating. The hostess said sit anywhere, so I did, and a few minutes later was asked to change seats, by my waiter. I did not. Had a steak with no particular flavor that might bring me to say it was anything other than average. Garlic mash potatoes, all though good flavor, were thick and pasty. Service was friendly and prompt, but was rushed, and not a relaxing experience.

Terrible food and poorly cooked. Only good part of the experience was Megan our server who did a good job. The brisket soup was bland but was fair. “The Maverick” which is there “famous” dish, was ordered as medium well, arrived rare. Was sent back to the kitchen and was still bleeding after being re-cooked. Only ate 3 bites but was charged full price for this disgusting food. Ridiculous to have to pay $17.99 for something inedible! Will not return to this restaurant as there are numerous restaurants far better than this one!

Side salad was wilted, garlic mash potatoes were dry and not good. Steak was cooked well but for their “famous maverick steak” it was just meh. I sat with an empty drink for half of my dining time.

Best steak I have had in a very long time. Service was perfect and quick. Lots of room nice to eat the cattle not be one. Can't wait to go again.

Service was a bit slow. The food was phenomenal! All 4 kids enjoyed their burgers, chicken strips & mini corn dogs. Husband loved the patty melt and I really enjoyed the brisket Mac grilled cheese!

Server was nice but also busy training new employees. One person’s meal in our group was missed completely. The server was very apologetic about it. When one of our members went to pay for our table and mentioned that our walleye was cold, he was told “so.” Host wasn’t very friendly. Not an overall great experience. They need to step it up.

Started off great but very disappointed when everybody got their food except me. Well I never did get my food they forgot my food although I did get my soup and my salad and they charge me $10 for it! Then he asked if I wanted it to go? Seriously I came to the restaurant to sit down and eat a hot meal, with my son, 2-grandkids n husband. I did not make a scene. I was very quiet and respectful. Will I ever come back NO! So if you’re waiting for your food, it never comes, THEY WONT EVEN ASK TO SEE WHATS Going on in the kitchen! My waiter came back to our table 3 times and not once did he say your food will be out shortly. Just looked at me and said oh well I wonder what happened. Sadly, this was my choice of the restaurant we eat here at least once a week! Not anymore

I've eaten here before and it was really good. This time. They had a really long wait. Went to sit in the barand It was full. Obviously a local favorite being so full. We asked if we could sit at a table that was unoccupied at the bar and ordered drinks, at the bar. Was told we could not so we decided to leave and not wait an hour and a half for a table. Maybe, we'll have better luck next time.

Ordered Chislic > OMGoodness !! When you lick the juices from the container, YOU KNOW IT'S AWESOME !! Cooked perfectly too. Woke up craving more Chislic today... I'll order more before I leave SD > I'll probably order Twice !! (when my work contract ends in December)

Prime rib sandwich was very dry, the revolver sandwich was very dry, bland, and my first bite was all char. Kids cheeseburger was dry. Way over priced, waited a long time for server to get a second drink and we had to ask for it instead of her offering more.

Everything was okay I just went right home about it. I've eaten there once so I have got you try their featured items which I hear are pretty good..

I travel for work and I try to avoid "chains " when I eat away from home. This place was amazing, I always went away full and satisfied. Do the right thing and eat here!

We wanted walleye and it didnt disappoint. Very reasonably priced with 2 glasses of wine it was under $60 for 2. My husband had the sirloin on a stone. You basically cook it yourself and it sizzles. Like your personal tepanyaki. Then he added compound butter. Delicious. WaitStaff is not wearing masks like other restaurants but it is a big place.

First time here for my son's birthday celebration. Extremely slow service even though it was not at all busy. Server kept just disappearing, didn't refill drinks, couldn't find her after food was dropped off, couldn't find her to get our bill. Steaks were all overcooked and flavorless. Chicken dry. Had 5 of us and only one person in our group liked their food. Ranks in comparison to maybe a TGIFriday or even Denny's. Picked this place because we heard it was "better than" other restaurants in town. But I guess that's not saying much.

I sat at the bar while in town for a business trip. I ordered a burger with ranch fries and some beer. The bartenders were attentive and the food was really good. Can't complain.
