We have been going to Chaps in Baltimore for many, many years, and love their food!!! When we went to your Aberdeen location, my Mom and I got the pit beef sandwiches, which were amazingly tender and perfectly cooked and scrumptious 👏 😋 🥰❤️ My husband got the Big John, and it was big, HUGE!!! Every meat cooked to perfection!!! The onions are thinly sliced, and the fries are delicious 😋 We always buy our gorgeous grandpuppies, Siberian Huskies, their own pit beef and they just LOVE it 🥰 We have visited 3 weeks in a row, and the food is fabulous every time 😊 Keep up the great work 👍

Legit food. Never had bbq like this before, but it is excellent. Want to go back, but don’t know when I’ll be able to make it.

As an avid fan of Pioneer, I am surprised how well Chaps scratched my pit beef itch. Meat was shredded a lot finer, but it was still tender and flavourful. Fries with gravy were solid as well. Did the job just fine. 👍

I tried Chaps for the first time and I was pleasantly pleased. The store was not to  busy but several customers came in periodically as I was in the establishment.  I was greeted right away by the cashier and the kitchen staff greeted me as well. I was not sure what I wanted so the cashier give me options of her favorites and convinced me to  purchase larger portions and purchase dessert.  That was amazing up selling. My order was ready quickly, the store was extremely clean, the staff is friendly and the price was decent. I will be purchasing here again.

First time visit! Staff was efficient and friendly. Restaurant was clean and tidy. The Pit Beef sandwich was good.... nice and tasty. Would have liked to be asked if we wanted cheese or a different roll, but just got the beef on a hamburger bun. The green beans and stewed tomatoes was tasty, as well as, the gravy fries! I expected the pork to fall off the ribs, but we fussed with them..... slightly disappointing. We plan to come back to try a few other sandwiches. Bathroom was clean too!

I was visiting MD from NYC, and I've heard about the famous Chaps Pit Beef on Food Network. I decided to stop by and try it, and it was an incredible experience! The meat was juicy, good quality and the fries were outstanding! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Cashier was awesome and the lady at the serving window was sweet. The food was hot fresh and flavorful. This was my dad's first time having Chaps and he practically lost it at how good it was. It's nice to have this location seeing as how I can't always get to the Baltimore city location. Nothing tops the original though lol.

Yum tried almost all the sides and liked all but the Mac and cheese. It was too runny for me but the kids loved it. The beef sandwich was amazing.

Was excited to try something that was on DDD. Save your money. Ordered Med well meat and it was raw. Mac and cheese tasted like generic box mac and cheese. Firsr and last time eating here.

Being from Eastern NC and now living in VA, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Chap’s Pit Beef. If you have not been check out the menu online first. There are lots of menu choices and it can be a bit overwhelming trying to decide while in line. We went on a Saturday night and beat the crowd. There was a nice “wood” smell in the parking lot. Another thing to know, this is mainly a sandwich shop. I got the Big John, a combo of corned beef, ham, turkey, beef, and smoked Italian sausage on a hoagie bun. I added onions. Nothing else comes on the sandwich. Sauces, horseradish, and deli pickle slices are at the counter to added yourself. I went with the houses BBQ sauce which tasted like sweet Arby’s sauce with smoke added. The french fries and cut in house, so they came out a bit soft. I got a large, which is a shareable size. Everything was very good. Meat was tender and smokey. I would definitely come back if I find another Chaps and try something else from the expansive menu.

Ordered the open turkey and I was expecting thick sliced carved turkey but it was sadly just thin, deli meat style. The kids had chicken tenders that were tasty but dry without any sauce. The fries were delicious & not too greasy. Bababa pudding was really good. The manager (grey hair & fit) was highly involved, had a great attitude, and motivated his staff. Nice atmosphere. Prices are high but I would return again & try a different platter.

Food is ok but this location disappoints big time relative to its counterpart in Baltimore. It looks great but the spirit of Chaps is gone and it feels franchisey… not as yummy (bread tasted a little stale) and they forgot my banana pudding; made the sandwiches in under 2 minutes so I’m curious about the slicing and flat top grilling of the meat, probably more interested in playing around in the kitchen which was kind of off-putting, the sausage was cut up and overcooked curling at the ends and dry (vs the whole delicious sausage we got on the sandwich in Baltimore) and finally, the employee had no recommendations and never heard of the place at all before accepting a job there (TMI for sure). I am still a fan of Chaps in Baltimore and will continue to eat there. I won’t be back to Aberdeen.

First time here but been wanting to visit for awhile since seeing the Triple D episode. At a glance the prices seemed reasonable but quickly added up for a family of four to just under $100. The pulled pork was sweet and soupy making the sandwich really messy to eat. The ribs had a nice glaze but were not fall off the bone and a bit of work to eat. The wings were good and our last entree was the Guy’s Triple D sandwich and it was a large, tasty sandwich. The fries were fresh and the large is enough to feed three people. We also had the mac & cheese which was decent. Overall, it was a good first experience and we’ll head back at some point to try more of the menu.

Employees are always friendly and make sure your order is as you want. Variety of sauce choices. You can get your pit beef rare to well-done. Bathrooms and in door seating are always clean. There is TV to enjoy if that's your thing. Fries always on point. Be brave and try the horsey sauce - you won't regret it!!

Wanted to like this place more than I did. Was a nice change from the usual fast food places in NJ, but priced a bit high and nothing extraordinary. Will definitely give this place another try as the selection was decent and the condiment selection was good.
