Tiny
rooms,
but
absolutely
spotless,
as
you'd
expect.
The
air
conditioners
will
keep
you
cool
in
the
height
of
summer,
they
look
like
the
kind
intended
to
cool
a
huge
office!
I
didn't
encounter
any
English-speaking
staff,
so
take
a
dictionary.
It
doesn't
matter
very
much
though
(just
don't
forget
that
keycard!).
There's
free
tea
and
(probably)
noodles
served
in
the
mornings,
but
I
never
got
round
to
trying
them.
There's
also
a
vending
machine
with
some
drinks
(including
beer!)
and
a
few
small
washing
machines,
best
to
pick
'strange'
hours,
if
you
have
a
lot
of
washing.
You
can't
check
in
until
4
in
the
afternoon,
but
you
are
allowed
to
leave
your
case
in
the
lobby
while
you
go
and
explore
Tokyo
(the
city
proper
is
quite
a
distance,
about
45-50
minutes
on
the
slow
trains)
The
area
is
pretty
nice,
there's
a
very
interesting
second
hand
bookshop
near
the
station,
with
all
manner
of
cheap
stuff.
Two
large
department
stores
are
across
the
road,
if
you've
forgotten
anything
you
can
buy
it
there!
There's
also
a
mcdonald's
close
by,
and
(a
bit
more
of
a
trek)
a
24
hour
Ramen
restaurant,
as
well
as
a
curry
place
and
a
few
others.
The
local
area
is
pretty
"new"
and
open-plan,
so
there's
not
one
of
those
narrow
alleys
full
of
noodle
bars
and
pubs,
though.
