There's a shower room downstairs, with washer/dryer unit combo that does the job well. Very fairly priced too, so bonus points there. Front desk has some free goodies like tea, coffee packets, or hygenie essentials. If you need to leave your luggage after check out for a few hours, there's a small fee. But it's marginal and totally understandable. Walls are thin though. You can hear people open and close doors to access the common wash room section. So future travelers, please be mindful of your neighbors. We booked a private room so I don't have any feedback about the shared dorms. However the private rooms were nice. Decent amount of space. But it can quickly get crowded if you have alot of luggage with you. Location The hostel takes a while to walk too if you're getting off the main asakusa line. Other than that, the location is quite nice. You have the temples nearby, and Tokyo sky tree right across the bridge! There's also a restraint attached to the front of this hostel. While I didn't have the chance to try it, the menu looked tasty. Thank you Asakusa hostel for a great time :) Hope I can return soon. 🙏

Definitely a surprising good stay, stayed here for a total of 9 days and really enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness provided by the accomodation. location is right next to sensoji temple and surrounded by some yummy eats, the receptionists are super friendly as well!

People leave their shoes inside the room. It make the room stinks and it's very nasty. All the rest is fine. Clean place. Cleaned professionally. By the time I was there they had free bag of tea and instant coffee.

There are three toilet on the third floor, and one of them is broken for a long time, at least two weeks. The A/C was kind of working, but the room was very wet and humid, very uncomfortable. No hand drying paper towel by the sink on the third floor.

Really nice hostel with polite staff, complementary tea, coffee and skin care products. They also have a nice coworking area, which is a godsend when it's 38 degrees outside. The rooms are standard hostel rooms but do have privacy curtains which is nice. The only inconvenience is that showers are on a different floor to the dorms, but that's really not a big deal.

Staying here is an experience itself. One of my highlights of my 3rd stay in Tokyo. Made a lot of friends from different nationalities and cultures! Now, for the pros: All the receptionists are SO GOOD! They're very helpful and approachable, and they are also very good in english! Just some minor cons here. It is typical for a hostel to have thin walls , so expect the noises! Avoid the washing machine at all cost, they're quite faulty, and the drying time takes a ridiculous amount of time. PS: I hope I can come back here with the set of friends I just met. If not, I know I will gain another.

Time sharing stay asakusa was by far the best hostile I been to since travelling to japan. The staff was was very accommodating. If you ever have any question ask chris who is a staff there he will help you out with any concerns or question was very helpful during my 3 weeks stay at the hostile. Definitely would recommend this hostile!!! Can't wait to come back!!

Had a wonderful stay, the hostel is nice and clean, the in house restaurant, La Casa is amazing. Chris, one of the hostel employees went out if his way to help us out with whatever we needed and made the experience the best it could be. We can't wait to come back for another stay, I highly recommend it.

Loved it here! It feels like an in-between of hostel and hotel. Everything was neat and clean. I had a bunk bed and the room was quite small, but extremely comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and nice. My flight was delayed, so we made it a little past 24:00 for check-in and the staff was willing to wait for us. We cannot make calls, but they remained in contact with us via email when they realized our situation. English and the use of Credit Card is not an issue. Highly, highly recommend it here.
