Terrible
people
working
here.
My
self
and
10
+
other
guests
all
with
separate
rooms
were
in
the
lobby
tonight
having
conversations
about
our
day,
the
time
is
9:27pm.
The
night
attendant
behind
the
counter
(Chris)
announces
we
all
must
go
to
our
rooms
or
she
will
call
the
police!
All
people
across
the
lobby
some
of
us
know
each-other
others
don’t
look
around
astonished.
Chris
says
I
called
my
manager
and
you
all
must
go
to
your
room
or
I
will
call
the
police
on
you.
It
was
asked
is
anyone
yelling,
being
disrespectful,
or
something?
Chris
replies,
“no
but
the
acoustics
of
the
lobby
make
things
too
loud
for
me”.
We
stand
there
shocked
about
what
was
happening
(mind
you
we
are
all
adults
in
our
30s
and
40s).
We
ask
who
is
your
manager?
She
calls
the
manager
on
her
cell
phone
and
we
ask
her
the
same
thing.
Denise
the
manager
replies
with
a
similar
response.
Then
proceeds
to
tell
us
that
the
lobby
wasn’t
designed
well
and
that
when
people
talk
in
the
lobby
it’s
hard
for
them
to
do
their
job.
Again,
absolutely
taken
back
the
question
was
asked
by
a
group
of
people
who
do
not
know
each-other
“where
is
it
we
should
all
sit
back
and
have
conversation
if
not
the
lobby?”
Denise
the
manager
says
we
don’t
have
a
good
area
for
that
in
our
hotel,
if
you
would
like
to
stay
somewhere
else
that
is
your
right
and
we
will
find
others
to
fill
ours!!!
I
have
never
been
treated
so
poorly
and
10
+
other
paying
customers
all
sat
there
and
experienced
the
same
thing.
Apparently
because
Abilene
does
not
have
enough
hotels
to
support
people
who
come
in
for
events,
air
shows,
etc.
customer
service
is
no
longer
relevant
and
what
they
deem
acceptable
supersedes
the
experience
paying
customers
should
get
while
staying
at
this
hotel.
Yes
I’m
fine
staying
somewhere
else,
and
I
will,
but
thought
it
relevant
to
share
with
those
looking
to
book
a
hotel.
I
travel
a
lot
and
have
never
had
an
experience
like
this
until
tonight.
