Absolutely disgusting. First room the mattress was torn and had red stain on it. You could see the rusted springs in the mattress. Very dingy and musty smell in the room. Told front desk and they moved me rooms. Well this new room had dead roaches under the bed, tons of dust, and a red substance on the bed leg. I will be leaving first thing in the morning.

Room 126 was nasty. Couch was stained with human and animal hair on it. Toilet was broken and ran constantly. Microwave didn't work. Bathroom outlet tripped off every time it was used regardless of what was plugged in. Iron had a short in it and was partially broken that they had to replace. Told front desk about all issues every time. Very dismissive and said "can't do anything until the manager gets back during the week". Never was surprised something was jacked up in the room. Oh and the hot items for breakfast were cold and stale.stay anywhere else but here. Staff was not attentive or organized. Stay somewhere other than here. Marriott should remove this hotel from their brand.

We arrived there at 230 am without a reservation. The attendant made us feel at home and got us a great room! Slept like a baby!

I stay at quite a few Marriott branded hotels and this one made me consider staying at more Residence Inn hotels. The coffee bar was thoughtfully put together. Breakfast was pretty good. It had the normal items, including but not limited to waffles, sausage, eggs (powder kind), biscuits, fruit, and more. I did wish cheese was available for the eggs. The pool was rather warm this morning. My kids and I swam in it while it was cool and breezy outside. They do not have a hot tub. They probably used to, but I imagine they turned it into a water feature outside. Our room was larger than expected, things were pretty clean and overall, I'd stay there again.

Not a bad hotel at all, a bit run down for the price though. We rented a nice sweet but the furniture was slightly beaten up, looked as if it was probably salvaged and there were no outlets for phone chargers . Other than that, I was impressed that the mini kitchen had dishes to use and stocked with napkins and a dishwasher etc...

The location is great. The pool is awesome. The room was clean. The kitchenette is awesome! Stove top, fridge, microwave, and many storage cabinets. Theres utensils, pots and pans, mugs, glass cups, spoons, forks, etc all provided to you in your room. You can order groceries and the hotel will deliver it to you and its billed to you. The staff was extremely nice and professional. They give you bags of ice and no password wifi is cool. Perks on marriott membership is always great. I would stay here again. Love it!

We lost power and needed a hotel to cool down. Upon late arrival, Deborah was awesome! Best customer service I’ve had in awhile! Not just welcoming to me, but the 5 kids with us also! Ty Deborah for turning a stressful night into a calm evening, you rock!

We come to Abilene fairly regularly to visit family. This is our 2nd stay here on this property. We won't be staying here again in the future. This property definitely needs an UPDATE. So much potential here. Everything was nice, EXCEPT for 2 notable things: the exterior of the bldg needs a pressure wash & the rooms need better & more sturdy furniture. I am 100% positive that bed & matress are older than ME. (44 yrs!) Our bed was NOT comfortable & pillows are weak, flat & useless. However, the lobby is beautiful, the staff is friendly & breakfast is good! We have been Marriott Bonvoy Members since approx 2015 & just don't feel that the comfort of these rooms meets our expectations.

The prices of the snacks at the desk could be better. The gym or fitness center could use some work. The hotel is very nice and well kept. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the shower. The location is excellent if someone is visiting ACU.

Pros: The staff was friendly, professional and eager to help. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and updated. Breakfast was very good and filling. The pool area was very nice with waterfalls into the pool. Hotel is located right off the main highway. Cons: The room was dirty. There were crumbs on the desk and dining table. I’m not sure our sheets were new. The carpet is musty. Living/bed area sure could use some TLC. Bathroom was basic but clean. Would not stay here again. Would likely try the courtyard next door for $20 more a night.

Yuck! My room was clearly not cleaned thoroughly but the hotel was sold out and I didn’t have the energy to make a fuss at 10pm when I arrived. The rooms are outdated but most of all the fact that I found a straw wrapper on the floor, a goldfish cracker on the sofa and a dried piece of shredded cheese on the desk was disgusting. The bed also looked like it was made by a child. The TV was ona login screen for one of the streaming apps with a password partially entered, like someone was hanging out on the sloppily made bed watching it. Finally, the hallways smelled dank and moldy and the rooms smelled like cheaply fragranced cleanse and the windows did not open to release the scent. I touched as little as possible - I didn’t even shower because I didn’t trust it had been properly cleaned. I will not stay here again under any circumstances.

Terrible people working here. My self and 10 + other guests all with separate rooms were in the lobby tonight having conversations about our day, the time is 9:27pm. The night attendant behind the counter (Chris) announces we all must go to our rooms or she will call the police! All people across the lobby some of us know each-other others don’t look around astonished. Chris says I called my manager and you all must go to your room or I will call the police on you. It was asked is anyone yelling, being disrespectful, or something? Chris replies, “no but the acoustics of the lobby make things too loud for me”. We stand there shocked about what was happening (mind you we are all adults in our 30s and 40s). We ask who is your manager? She calls the manager on her cell phone and we ask her the same thing. Denise the manager replies with a similar response. Then proceeds to tell us that the lobby wasn’t designed well and that when people talk in the lobby it’s hard for them to do their job. Again, absolutely taken back the question was asked by a group of people who do not know each-other “where is it we should all sit back and have conversation if not the lobby?” Denise the manager says we don’t have a good area for that in our hotel, if you would like to stay somewhere else that is your right and we will find others to fill ours!!! I have never been treated so poorly and 10 + other paying customers all sat there and experienced the same thing. Apparently because Abilene does not have enough hotels to support people who come in for events, air shows, etc. customer service is no longer relevant and what they deem acceptable supersedes the experience paying customers should get while staying at this hotel. Yes I’m fine staying somewhere else, and I will, but thought it relevant to share with those looking to book a hotel. I travel a lot and have never had an experience like this until tonight.

We can’t say enough about the quality of our accommodations… We had a two room suite… Kids and a dog. It was perfect… spacious, comfortable, kitchen had exactly what we needed! The staff deserves 10 stars!!!! Bravo for such amazing hospitality for our entire four night stay! We felt valued as guest!!! A special shout out to Kerrie … Best front desk, everything person EVER! But the entire staff was incredible! We will definitely stay again!

Rooms are spacious clean only reason I gave four stars the tile on the bathroom floor is coming up and I could have cut my feet on it other than that everything else was acceptable

An amazing place to stay short term or long term! We were there for approximately 2 months due to work in the area. The team that runs and works at this hotel are all amazing! The rooms are clean and well stocked. The beds are a bit firm but comfortable! The breakfast is good and changes most every morning! The front desk staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about amenities in Ablilene! The housekeeping staff are all friendly and perform their duties very well! Thank you all for a great stay!!!

I stayed over 100 days Bill was over $10,00.00. Room had roaches plus.I signed up for the rewards program. My bill was covered by a third party (Insurance) Then when I was gonna use my rewards points there were none there. I was told that because I didn’t pay with my Personal card I don’t get any rewards points. Insurance didn’t claim them so I think it’s messed up that I can’t claim them. I’ll member stay at another Marriott Hotel. They are a rip off! Especially Zthe Residence in Abilene Texas Steve Pruitt Abilene Txp

I went here to deliever a meal to someone. The front desk clerk was very friendly. I let her know I was with UberEats and was delievering a meal to a guest. She showed me where to go and said she could call up to the guest's room to let them know I was on the way. I didn't stay in the hotel but from what I seen, it look very nice and clean. Maybe I'll get to stay for leisure sometime soon.

My mom and I stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The room was quiet and the ladies at the front desk, I forgot their names, were wonderful. Will be staying again in the future.

Bathroom light was out, no maintenance man to repair, we'll move you to another room. Previewed other room, leaking ceiling over tub, declined move. PITIFUL!!!

Great Marriott experience. I prefer the residence inn, the rooms have more space, fridge and a great breakfast. This one is easy to get in and out of and close to food

Staff is absolutely wonderful! Very kind and very attentive. The hotel is great, breakfast is spot on, Wi-Fi is good, and the gym and pool are nice. Only improvement would be to get the 2nd elevator working, #1 is really getting a workout.

It was okay. Staff was nice, pool was very clean. Rooms could use some maintenance but nice size suite with full size kitchen appliances and everything you need to cook meals. It was clean but we stayed a week and housekeeping never came to clean the room.
