I'm
giving
two
stars
because
the
emergency
docs
and
nurses,
once
you
finally
get
processed,
are
pretty
great.
The
ER
receptionists,
however,
are
in
the
wrong
field.
Rude,
uncaring,
as
sympathetic
as
a
pit
viper,
and
aggressively
unprofessional.
I
came
in
with
severe
back
pain;
it's
a
chronic
issue
and
when
it
flares
up
all
I
can
do
is
lay
flat.
So
when
we
arrived
at
the
ER
my
wife
requested
a
stretcher
or
gurney
for
transport.
They
refused,
and
even
when
I
told
them
that
sitting
upright
cause
me
horrific
pain
they
insisted
I
use
the
wheelchair.
They
rolled
me
roughly
into
the
triage
room
and
I
went
immediately
to
the
floor
to
lay
down
to
relieve
the
pain.
They
told
me
I
couldn't
do
that
and
that
I
would
need
to
sit
upright
to
get
vitals.
I
explained
that
I
literally
cannot
do
that
so
they
said
"Are
you
stating
you
are
unwilling
to
get
your
vitals
taken?"
I
said
fine
and
screamed
my
way
into
a
sitting
position
only
for
the
nurse
to
literally
throw
her
hands
up
and
walk
out
of
the
room
saying
"I
refuse
to
treat
you"
-
which
I'm
pretty
darn
certain
is
illegal.
So
I
go
back
to
lying
down
for
a
few
minutes
when
a
male
nurse
comes
in
who,
to
my
surprise,
was
able
to
take
my
vitals
while
I
was
laying
down
without
issue.
They
then
left
me,
still
refusing
to
provide
me
a
gurney
or
stretcher,
lying
on
the
dirty
floor
of
the
triage
room
in
writhing
pain
for
over
an
hour.
Once
I
actually
got
back
to
the
ER,
my
treatment
was
fine.
Good
even.
But
the
intake
process
is
a
dumpster
fire.
Dear
Thomas
Jefferson,
you
need
to
retrain
your
ER
night
receptionist,
as
this
is
far
from
the
only
complaint
about
them
in
these
reviews.
