😠 Extremely bad experience. More than 8hr wait. And a total of 13 Hr spent in ER. Too many people due to community base. Don't know. For test results, u have to wait for 3hr. Don't choose ....if can. I just visited the Mayo Clinic in Scotland Arizona brand New emergency department. These people need... People often mention pain,

There should be negative stars given for this hospital. We went checked in at 3:30 pm the initial blood work, vitals were done quickly, and then we had to wait until 8pm for and ultrasound, then we waited until 10 for the doctor to tell us what was going on, and then waited until 11 pm to get discharged. We actually got up and left and met the doctor in the hallway, and he printed the discharge papers while we were in the hallway. Worst experience ever. Not to mention how dirty it is. All the nurses, doctors, PAs looked so exhausted, I can’t even imagine what they go through. Jefferson shame on you, this used to be a decent hospital πŸ™

This ER does not deserve one star or their 1.5’ rating! How my son was mistreated, today, he was discriminated against, stereotyped and stigmatized, it is an absolute disgrace. Shame on you ER staff, and shame on your little standup show of jokes and laughter, performed when you thought you were not being heard!! My son did hear you ER Staff and it was hurtful, it was not enough that he has been in excruciating pain since he tripped over the rug yesterday. The worst is when I told you I was sorry I missed your little comedy show,, it triggered you and your unprofessional behavior and you flipped- out and denied denied denied!. Not cool!! That triggered my son and his behavior with his conditions which you are well aware of. also you know he did not have time to eat or take his medication regimen this morning! Shame shame shame on you ER Staff!!!! Also, why all the endless questions on drugs and alcohol? My son never smoked cigarettes drank or used drugs!

I'm giving two stars because the emergency docs and nurses, once you finally get processed, are pretty great. The ER receptionists, however, are in the wrong field. Rude, uncaring, as sympathetic as a pit viper, and aggressively unprofessional. I came in with severe back pain; it's a chronic issue and when it flares up all I can do is lay flat. So when we arrived at the ER my wife requested a stretcher or gurney for transport. They refused, and even when I told them that sitting upright cause me horrific pain they insisted I use the wheelchair. They rolled me roughly into the triage room and I went immediately to the floor to lay down to relieve the pain. They told me I couldn't do that and that I would need to sit upright to get vitals. I explained that I literally cannot do that so they said "Are you stating you are unwilling to get your vitals taken?" I said fine and screamed my way into a sitting position only for the nurse to literally throw her hands up and walk out of the room saying "I refuse to treat you" - which I'm pretty darn certain is illegal. So I go back to lying down for a few minutes when a male nurse comes in who, to my surprise, was able to take my vitals while I was laying down without issue. They then left me, still refusing to provide me a gurney or stretcher, lying on the dirty floor of the triage room in writhing pain for over an hour. Once I actually got back to the ER, my treatment was fine. Good even. But the intake process is a dumpster fire. Dear Thomas Jefferson, you need to retrain your ER night receptionist, as this is far from the only complaint about them in these reviews.

Didn't even want to give one star, the PA was rude and unprofessional. It was swomp and she took it out on me after I said, you have to actually do something after you numb a patient not just numb me then leave and have to repeat it. She yelled "I have 15 patient and I haven't ate breakfast, we're taking serious patients and you're being mean. Also she said"get her outta here 🀒. Very very unprofessional....I won't say how I really feel ‼️

On Friday, Aug 18th, I needed to procure 'Abington ER's' services for extreme pain I was experiencing in my right shoulder. The care extended from all of the attending staff members and doctors definitely made my brief stay very pleasant, being that I wasn't feeling physically pleasant. I, and my family, left feeling better. Myself from the medication I was given and my family, within informative/polite bedside mannerisms overall... Thank you~~~ 'Abington ER' πŸ™πŸ½πŸ˜·πŸ’š

Arrived at 11:45p, no movement of taking patients back at 2am. At 5:15a, I asked how much longer and they couldn’t say (Nurses were very nice). Another patient in the waiting room said she had been there since 10pm and was still waiting (sounded like she had appendicitis and in horrible pain), so I called Holy Redeemer and a very nice nurse said there would be no wait. Arrived at 5:30, saw nurse within 5 minutes and doctor within 10 mins.

i went in with pelvic pain because i have endo. i was immediately treated as a drug seeker. i have a bruise half the size of my arm from the IV they literally stabbed me with. their transvaginal ultrasound wand gave me a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis. i left traumatized and in worse shape than when i went in. i wouldn’t go to this er again if i were about to die.
