This is my go to diner when I am in the Atlantic City area. The food comes out quick and is fresh. I have yet to be disappointed. The prices are great and I never leave hungry. I prefer to not do breakfast or lunch when I leave Atlantic City so I like to stop at the Phoenix and not deal with all the masses of people the casinos bring in. Definitely worth the visit!

Waitress was very sweet. We got breakfast, my boyfriend really liked his seafood omelet, but home fries were a bit dry and not much flavor. I got eggs and pancakes which were good, but the bacon was over cooked and kinda a weird color. We got 2 danishes which were good.

Beautiful dinner. Most lovely restaurant I have ever been in! Very clean and so interesting. Regret not taking pics. Food was excellent, service was even better. We stopped on our way out of Atlantic City for breakfast. I didn’t try any because I can’t, but their breakfast pastries, muffins and such are made in house daily and looked amazing. Wish we lived closer…The Pheonix would be a regular for us!

Just had a late breakfast the wife had eggs toast and fresh melon while I enjoyed my turkey club on whole wheat and some fries. Their coleslaw and pickle were also very yummy. Prices are reasonable and the place is always clean and bright. One of our favorites on the way out of our weekend stay in AC.

I'm extremely mad. My man and I got food poisoning on our vacation by eating here. Here it is 12 midnight and we ate about 9 am. It's almost 24 hours and my man cannot stop vomiting and diarrhea. Thank god I feel better. This is horrible!!! I wrote a review already not sure if that's FB. Hopefully everyone gets to see this and the other one!!!! Copy and paste and edit. This is my first post...My man and I went in for breakfast this morning and although the reviews were great, the experience for us wasn't. The problem is that the food gave us food poisoning. We on vacation not knowing where to eat good breakfast. We chose this place based on the reviews. It passed through me already but my man is still throwing up and have diarrhea. This is hours later. This place put a damper on our vacay. I will never come back nor recommend this place. This is horrible!!!!!!!!!

Place appears nice to be honest. Unfortunately a lower rating just cause I found 2 hairs in the egg omelet. Granted I know it was a mistake but still. That’s a pretty big mistake. Not just one hair. But two. And then when I got a new plate i was just eyeing every bite I was taking cause of the first incident. Besides that friendly service. The food does need some condiments as well. It was very bland. I don’t post many reviews as you may notice. But this one is needed.

Food was good, atmosphere was fine, our server was very nice. Had a decent breakfast, definitely better than the continental that our hotel was serving. They have some great looking pastries I wish I had gotten to try though.

It’s a New Jersey diner, which is all you need to say. The food is dependably good, service is good and the prices are reasonable. Diners are one of the bright spots of the often-maligned state, and for good reason. If you find yourself traveling down the coast in the winter, diners are an oasis in the desert of seasonally closed food places, and this diner is one of my favorites.

I wanna first say, Google has the times for this place as closing @3pm, however I was rudely informed they were closed as I was eating my food at 2:05. They should really update their business hours if they are gonna be rude about it. Also the food was decent, My omelette was good however the meat had a yellow tinge to it for the bacon and the sausage, both seem under refrigerated and undercooked. Which would be no big deal because i was gonna have it removed from the bill so no reason to make a bigger fuss, however when I asked for it to be taken off as it did not look appetizing, I got a nasty attitude from the server who reluctantly took off the bacon and not the sausage(without informing me, I noticed after looking over the "revised" receipt) When I informed the cashier of the sausage not being taken off I also got met with an attitude and they only took off half of the sausage from the bill because I took a bite from it, which let me know I did not like it, hence why I asked for it to be taken off. Horrible customer service from the staff, i understand the servers are not the kitchen but they did not have to be rude and deceitful with the bill and they could've at least let me know they were closing at 2 if I walked in at 1:40.

Stopped here from Atlantic City. Ordered the french toast, definitely don’t order. Had no taste!!! Where was the egg? FYI: take the bread, put in egg but allow it to soak in a little then place on griddle. Don’t use lard but actually get a better butter with taste. Anyway don’t think I’ll be going back next time.
