We used the services of Ghana Car rental while in Ghana for a trip to the VR for a funeral. They delivered a good service from the initial inquiry to the end of the 4-day trip. They are reasonably-priced compared to other rental companies in Accra Our driver was very professional, respectful and cordial. He was also knowledgeable of the Volta region roads which was helpful. We hope to use them again and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

We hired a 4x4 vehicle with Ghana Car Rentals last week as a family of 4 for a long journey. The vehicle and its driver are very reasonably priced. From the initial enquiry and throughout the order process, communication was exceptional thanks to Melvin. On the day, the driver arrived very much in good time. He was friendly, courteous, patient and professional. Our long journey felt extremely safe and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our outing thanks to the excellent service from the company. Great service! We were in Ghana for nearly 2 weeks and did a whole lot of traveling around during that time. Our driver, Kwame, was a great source of historical and cultural information, along with being a very safe, professional driver, and he quickly became a friend. Kwame was always punctual to pick us up and did a great job helping us find places to eat and sleep when we didn't already have those booked. I can't recommend this service highly enough -- it made our trip much safer and more enjoyable!

From 25th of Mai - 3rd June 2023 with Mensah. We were a family travel group with varying compositions, each consisting of 7-11 participants, and we had booked a 12-seater vehicle. The car was in excellent condition, clean, and very well-maintained. With Mensah, we had arguably the best driver in all of Ghana and possibly in the whole of Africa! We felt very safe at all times, and Mensah proved to be an integral part of the travel group during these 8 days. We gained a lot of insight into the lives of Ghanaians through him, as well as highly interesting perspectives. Mensah was always available, consistently punctual, and even excelled during longer journeys and outside of regular operating hours! It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet him and spend time with him! We would gladly do it again, and hopefully very soon.

We booked a car and driver for 12 days from Germany with Ghana Car Rentals. The communication in advance went smoothly. The driver arrived on time and the car was in perfect condition. Overall, the company is reputable, reliable and highly recommended.

I user GCR for 2 airport pickups and 2 long distant trips. They proved to be reliable and provided safe drivers and reasonable condition vehicles. They are much easier to deal with than other rental companies with a proper Web site, published prices and choice of payment methods. On the negative side, Our driver did not have a smart phone so access to hps navigation - so passengers had provide directions. Despite that, I'd use the againn.

We traveled 3 weeks in Ghana with a comfortable 4WD car and with the driver Selassie, both provided by Ghana Car rentals. Selassie was a very reliable and careful driver and he provided us with insight in life and society in Ghana. We would choose Ghana Car Rentals again.

We had an excellent two days with our driver, Kyeremeh for our trips to Elmina, Cape Coast, Kakum and to the Volta region as well as Boti Falls and Aburi Botanical gardens. 4WD we hired was air conditioned and comfortable for those bumpy roads around Ghana. Ghana Car Rentals provided top notch services; from the first point of contact, months prior to my trip, to the airport drop off, for my return home. They were very responsive to my emails, months prior to my group trip, and kindly answered several questions. The driver assigned to my group was great! He was maneuvered through the traffic and rough road conditions, very well. Lastly, our van was very comfortable. My group of 10 rented the 24-passenger van, which was perfect for our group size and luggage.

Me and a group of my friends are arriving to Ghana for December. I wanted to rent from This company they sent an invoice and then sent another invoice increasing the amount. When I told Them About their mistake they then tried to make us upgrade to a suv against our will for a much higher price than quoted prior. When I asked them they said smaller cars are not allowed on the road in Ghana in December which make no sense. We were already scared to rent from Them simply Because they said we had to pay the full balance upfront. I believe some of the employees in this company are scamming and I would not Recommenced renting from This company at all!!! Now a few days before we arrive we do not have a car!

Our driver Paul ensured that we got to each location safely. We were there for a week and had a full itinerary. Paul was at the hotel every time we needed him and he was so easy to communicate with.
