I watched Woman King and Black Panther back to back! Yoou want to show up a minimum of 30 minutes to purchase tickets prior on weekends. Small critiques: air conditioning in lobby and theaters was sub par. Seating was good. I did not purchase popcorn but it looked and smelled great.

I totally disliked their service.. we had concern to which they said we should speak to the supervisor who took about an hour to attend to us because he was eating and he came around telling us he'd get back and he just vanished.. I wasted my efforts going there but it's a great lesson though

Not truly impressed. Only one attendant was available at the ticket stands. Worse was I was told I would not be allowed to take snacks bought at the concession stand into the cinema hall. This was shocking and a first for me.

-1 Star - Movie didn't start exactly on the dot. Also what's with all the ads? Car ads to awards show ads. We pay ticket to be shown ads? -1 Star - The audio experience is nothing close to what I'd expect a cinema to have. I was excited to see speakers placed all around, except the actual movie sounds came from just a couple of speakers in the front. Absolutely nothing immersive about the audio, considering the movies are usually high budget high quality with often surround sound capabilities. My headphones gives me even better immersive experience. -1 Star - The screen is terrible for a cinema. I mean, I know marvel movies. I've watched them in pitch darkness in 2K on OLED screens and I know the richness, details and crispiness possible. The cinema screen was washed out. Think of it as watching a marvel movie in say, D-Cinelike Flat Profile. Meh! Overall, seating was great, AC great. Will I go there to watch movie again? Nope. Absolutely nothing "Cinematic" about the experience. Will I recommend to go? Yeah, if, and only if you're looking to be at a Cinema for being there sake. Otherwise, just watch on your phone with a good headphones and the watching immersive experience will be far more rewarding

What are you doing to protect people from COVID . No social distancing inside the cinemas. You are more interested in making money than protecting the people who patronize you. Very horrible . And when I drew an attendant’s attention, he said he can’t believe I complained about social distancing . You allow people to drink inside the cinemas but they can’t eat their popcorn because ‘COVID’. Just say you don’t want to clean up . The hippocracy

I love the fact it was not crowded when I went. The sound was not close to the experience of silverbird cinema VI, I love the popcorn, but why will there not be a free drink on 60 Ghs. The ambiance was great, and the cleaners did their job well, giving them the credit. The front desk guys were also smart and kind with their responses. I hope it is a culture and not a one-time thing.

The theatre's on the first floor, up the stairs heading towards Burger King. I appreciate that they show African shows as well as global block bustwrs. Good theatre with most films offering free seating, not as good as IMAX cinemas are in terms of quality of graphics and the sound but pretty decent. Premier tickets cost 40ghc..

However, you may sometimes join long queue to see a movie (new popular movies). They have quick bites, pop corn, snacks and drinks around their lobby that you can buy and enjoy and you watch your movie. With 40 and 50 cedis, you would get a movie ticket

Silverbird cinema Shopping center is an agreeable spot with numerous cinema lobbies in the core of Accra . It is situated on the upper floor with get to by means of the stairs or lift. Openness is a Yes here, vehicle park and passageway. Quiet condition. Speakers give marvelous sound clearness. Great screen. Chillers are freezing. Very slick seats and sitting. The toilets can be improved yet not all that awful. Decent spot to unwind and get up to speed with the big screen.

The “monopoly” of sorts that Silverbird has over the cinematic experience in Accra is probably getting to them finally. They have this absurd rule of no “popcorn” in the hall despite allowing you to take drinks and pastries - even pizza for one party I saw. And yeah, the movies might be costly, but you don’t have to necessarily purchase their expensive snacks. TIP: Bring your own snacks. Also, how can it be in this day and age that one cannot book tickets online and get seats assigned?

See y'all, this not mega yhh, but an absolute place to just enter and relax and feed your eyes the visuals of giant super clear screen, now, with a loved one. The place is worth attending. Movies during weekdays (Mon - Fridays) is Gh¢30 Movies during weekends (Sat & Sun) is Gh¢40 So take note.

I haven't been here after covid and I think you guys should review a few things. Firstly we had 5mins in-between the last movie and ours so very little sanitisation and cleaning was done before we could go in. In these covid times, you'll need to do better. Secondly we could take drinks in and have them with our mask off but we couldn't have popcorn. Not sure what purpose that serves. It looked more like you downsizing to save cost so doing less cleaning rather than being a covid procedure. Finally movie started later than the indicated time and people had phone lights all over.

Been here a couple of times and, I must say, each time was a great experience. Ticketing staff were cool to talk to, the movies started in record time, sound quality was top-notch; basically, everything you'd want in a cinema. Hopefully, we get upgrades to the already-amazing cinema experience in the near future.

Silverbird has always given me an exceptional experience and recently I began interacting with their staff and they're just the absolute best. Especially the Lady behind the ticket booth. Been there almost five times since they reopened. She has consistently been great all five times. Keep it up!

As the major cinema in the city, it's almost always overly crowded and the tickets attendants are not very nimble and savvy in their delivery. And lately, you cannot purchase tickets online which is really inconveniencing. The cinema itself tend to get a bit too cold in certain parts of the rooms. And it would be great to have seats that recline a bit for some more comfort. So it's a 3 star for me.

Experience was good but the lift was not operational. It was difficult for my mother to climb the stairs as she has arthritis. Please do well to fix the elevator up and running. Thank you

Some of their staff members are really nice, a couple of them not professionals. Washrooms intact. Popcorn not allowed into the movie halls. They didn't mention the reason(s), but I believe it's due to the unnecessary litter. If I'm correct, they've gotta find a way to help that reason because who does that? Popcorn and movies are like Peter and Parker of Spiderman fame 😉😄

Great experience with the cinemas but if you need to really watch a Premiering movie get there in time to avoid the crowd. We are still in trying times and not everyone is vaccinated. Let's be safe and enjoy our moments in there.

Would give 4 stars if 80% of washrooms were not out of order and stinking urine. Also ventilation in cinema main halls is weak. You can smell humidity and mold. Pop corn is too greasy. Overall it's ok to go once in a while.

I like the place, they clean it up after every movie they show. You can easily get some snacks, drinks and water to buy. Their Washrooms are neat and their hand dryer works perfectly.

3D sound and atmosphere is the best in Ghana

The cinemas are upstairs, right above the food court. There are 5 cinemas in total and you can get the movie schedule in brochures at the counter, or you can ask the attendants/cashiers and they'd give you your available options at the specific time you want to watch a movie. Alternatively, you can go to their website; just type silverbird cinemas accra" in your search engine and you'd find their website from the results. You can either pay in cash, or via pos or mobile money. Like every other cinema, you should be punctual because you only get a couple of minutes of ads and the movie starts.

First movie (Chang-Chi and the ten rings) that I've watched in a movie theater in Accra, Ghana. Though the screen is not as big as in movie theaters in North America, I gave the experience 5 stars especially because of the ambulance with the audience clapping hands in the right moments, a blast from the eighties...

Now open after a long COVID induced break...the movie lovers can now go and enjoy. Covid protocols in place. No need to hold back...you can't enjoy popcorn during the movie though, no eating allowed. But you can collect that popcorn after the movie is over!

Seating arrangements were made as per the covid protocol. Staffs there need to be given more orientation with regards to handling customers. They were clueless owing to the crowd.

The movie experience was okay. But it doesn’t make sense that you cannot send food they sell at their own concession. To top matters off, we paid the non-discounted fee for the movie and apparently, that comes with pop corn and we were only told about this after the movie had ended and we were leaving. We were expected to present the torn half of our tickets we were given before the movie started. Which we didn’t even know we’d need later and thus had lost. This whole system of theirs isn’t practical. Makes no sense at all.

Really cool but a lot of issues. People were turning on their flashlights to record videos and it was a real disturbance for those of us that just wanted to enjoy the movie. There should be some security or ushers to warn viewers against that and the noisemaking. Also the new "No food allowed" policy is a real bummer

It was my first time in this place and I love the experience. The cinema was is awesome and the sound everything is just epic.

First time doing theaters, and it was a great experience. It felt really cozy with a great surround sound system. However, if you're a health freak, you might want to reconsider. The theater was packed full with very few people wearing masks.

That day was my second time there I sat at the back I tied a white scarf but got dirty when I got home meaning the seats are very dirty needs to be cleaned All the same I enjoyed the movie I watched titled 'A HAPPY SURPRISED'

The cinema itself is comfy and nice. The snack stand have rude sales persons and a very rude sales manager. No popcorns allowed in the cinema, because of covid rules but that was explained to us by the really nice guy who checked our tickets. All in all it was nice. They use momo, visa cards, cash, no sure about Vodacash. Enjoy.

First time at a movie theater in Accra. The seats were comfortable and the picture and sound was perfect. No complaints! Coming from the US, I was looking for a box office booth or a display with the movie showtimes. Instead we purchased our tix at the concession stand. Also when you order popcorn, you have an option to get salty or sweet- loved that!

I thought the seats could be more comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed Borga the movie though. I also wish they took cards at the snack bar as I'm not usually carrying cash.

I gave 5 star ⭐ cos i always love being there. But cinéma 4 there's no foot light in the corridor . 😭😭😭 I suggest you fix it like the stairs light.

Can defo improve the way they sell tickets especially for premieres. The crowding and standing is just too much, otherwise on off days it's a pretty fine cinema experience. The food is expensive though. On premiere days don't go there with small kids, there's too much pushing and shoving

I enjoyed my time at Accra Mall. I had a good meeting with my colleagues and saw Woman King. There was an issue with the movie ticketing and receipt system. But the staff were courteous about it. This did not affect the experience a lot. Dinner was at Barcelos, which is a floor below the cinema. They also had good customer service and the food was not bad. The pizza was salty, and that's why they are getting a 4 out of 5.

Watched the Woman King a couple of weeks ago. Good sound but picture not so sharp (don't know if was the room I watched from or was same in all the other rooms) . I like the flexibility of their time slots. Have very current movies and various movie options at any time.

So we were in a group of 4 and bought tickets worth 400gh for the movie titled "the woman king" but we did not know that each ticket came along with popcorn so we had already paid for the popcorn and requested for refund but there was a light skinned gentleman who wouldn't even pay attention (rudely telling us that monies paid are not refundable) to us and after continuous persuasions we opted for bottles of coca cola beverages as refund but he insisted that only Bel beverages could be given as refund. Can you imagine such an insult to our intelligence? We finally got the beverages we wanted but we felt we were not given the services we deserved.

I will come back again.

All your movies are already available online for several months. Also you are showing bad movies. Honestly you need hard work to make the place good.

Honestly Ghanaians yu need some serious work with your customer care service. You post something on yur website we are asking questions. Enquiring yet no reply. if you think you cant handle these things make all information available on the website. Ah Even we are calling the numbers and there are no response . I mean how. We ddnt ask yu to come and give half baked results. If you think you are under stuffed employ more. Or if you think the ones there have grown horns..... please sake them and employ others. There are people in need of work

There are a few cinemas in Ghana. The place has been maintained. Always have the current movies. What I didn't like was you buy the tickets in a different queue and you have to join another queue to buy snacks. It's not cool. Also, for proper planning, it is good to note that the movie schedule are changed every Friday on their website.

I watched The Woman King here. The seats are comfortable and the cinema was almost empty which made for a great viewibg experience. The popcorn and drinks were reasonably priced for the cinema.

Personally, I had a great time when I went to the cinema last month. The staff selling the tickets were friendly. The whole process from buying tickets and snacks to getting seated was really smooth. My friends and I enjoyed every minute we spent there.

Watched Barbie the movie, the cinema was nor even half ful but was hot.seemed as though the AC didn't work. Most of the arm rests were broken so it was a little uncomfortable. I'm giving 2 stars because the popcorn was really good. They should however introduce different sizes as it just comes in that little pack that finishes before the movie starts.

Omg this is is awesome, the price for a movie are different. I watch the little mermaid and I paid 100 cide and they also sell snacks to take in the cinema. The place is so comfortable. Can’t wait to visit again

Overall good experience. They could be a but more organized when reconciling at the snack bar. Customers had to wait while they did a physical count/inventory of items. In other words, they should find a way to still help customers while they do that, or do it at a time where no customers are available.

One of the best cinemas in Accra. It's always a nice experience catching a premier there. They have a lot of different cinema halls for great experience. The staff are polite and prompt, and their sugar popcorn is definitely the highlight. Recently it cost 100ghc for a movie ticket and 150ghc if it's a premier
