Wouldn't normally use this company because the owner is a plank but I needed to get some trainers in a hurry and at a reasonable price which I managed to do here. My review is for the helpful staff I encountered in this particular store today. Other reviewers have mentioned it being under staffed and that is true but it's the fault of the owner not the workers in the store.

How can they not give refunds? When you purchase at the till you should at least be told. Bought £89.99 trainers which hurt my feet due to arthritis. Took back with receipts, boxed in perfect condition. Guy on the till with brown hair and glasses, talked down to me, talked over me, very nasty and rude. Terrible avoid!!!!

Absolute disgrace of a place. Staff are nice, if you can find any, it’s like trying to find water in the desert! Be prepared for lengthy waits for assistance or even the tills. Went in for some trainers once, took 5 mins to pick them took an hour and half to get served! Oh they never have much in stock for men either. Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid

Not good. I don't expect amazing customer service in a place like this but I expect at least something. Staff are too busy chatting at the other end of the store rather than actually serving a paying customer. Good luck actually buying anything here - left my items at the till and walked out! I'm sure I'm not the first and certainly won't be the last.

Went to pick up an online delivery as the email said the store is open until 6pm. It closes at 5.30pm 🙈. Luckily, the kind staff served me after closing time. Sports Direct need to sort this out with the correct closing time.

Absolutely pathetic of a manager (Mo) at this branch couldn't even give me his proper name. He is very rude has no people or customer service skills everytime you walk into the branch he's stood at the front with a face on like he doesn't want to be there I have put an official complaint in about him.

Says online that the store closes at 6. Get to the top of the store at 5.25 greeted by a gentlemen who proceeds to say they’re closing soon and refuses to let me in, why say you’re closed at 6 then?? Waste of my time

Customer service is pathetic. One girl behind the counter taking her time to do her job as the queue gets bigger, whilst other members of staff stand around like they're completely useless.

Got bought boxers for christmas, opened them and they were too small, never used them. 15 pound wasted on incorrect sizing. Listed as a small size for men. definitely not, small for children probably. im 5 foot 4 at 148 pounds and these boxers super tight. Im definitly not a medium size, cant refund or exchange. terrible shop and terrible customer experience.

Very poor customer service,bought a Jacket asked if I could have a refund as it was a Christmas present,yes you have 28 days to return item said the staff member.She should have notified me that you could only have a credit note,that is not the way to run a business and your staff and manager require further training.Will use my credit note but will not shop in sports direct ever again.Also the store need to retrain staff on how to speak to the general public.

Went in for footy boots, didn't have 11s in the 3 types I was interested in :( Small feet got a good selection in 9s and below :)

Loud music and poor quality footwear. No staff to maintain a clean or tidy appearance.

Disgusting and makes me sick to see what this place has become since I worked for JJB in the same building. Foyer is bogging and you could probably catch TB off the the escalators. No meet and greet at the door. Customer service……! What customer service! And the store is the definition of the chaos theory.

After having such a negative experience at the denton store i can only sing the praise of the staff at this store. All the staff were brilliant! They had excellent customer service skills and so helpful. James was lovely he went above and beyond to help me and my family in store & answered all our questions and just so friendly. the manager Mo was also very nice, friendly and professional. Will definitely shop here again

I don't like Mike Ashley and how he treats his staff but I needed some socks. Staff were good, no complaints with them. Store was well stocked. 3 stars don't reflect how I feel about Ashley or the staff, so I've fudged it.

Lovely open field to play on, great park and toilet facilities. A little cafe too, when it's open!

They have many great offers but I find they are still out of my price range , but I am a bit cheap and always looking for that great bargain.

Really good value for money. Bought swimming goggles for £3.49 adult size. 2 large umbrellas for £7 and a basketball for £4. Only need one but they were on offer also at 2 for £7! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Wasn't to crowded went about 11am.
