Was able to book us a table on the day. Very polite staff who brought the buffet food to us to put in the middle of the table, we could order more as wanted. Slight confusion over seating and my daughter broke her glass, but they were very accomodating and well mannered. I'm definitely returning as the food was brilliant and it's £20 per head for the buffet. We had rice and peas, white rice, curry chicken, fish stew, mutton, coleslaw, steamed vegetables, dumplings, plantain, fish fritters. My friend who was with us said they rotate what you get because sometimes you don't have some of that and get macaroni or fried fish. Look forward to returning.

I arrived with a vegetarian appetite and was graciously accommodated with a deliciously seasoned ackee and calloloo meal with steamed veg. Pauline was very helpful and the flavours were authentic, with a touch of hot pepper sauce. Food nice eeeeeei!

Went in after falling to secure bookings for other ‘TOP’ restaurants in Birmingham. My family are on the loud side but we were well looked after, food & drinks were good, music turned up on request👌🏾 Could of stayed there all night. Perfect venue & highly recommend. Was a really nice experience!!! I just can recommend the place. We had a warm welcome from the host who made a really high level of service and a really professional attitude. Thank you for the night . The food was good and there was many authentic choice on the buffet so you can find something for yourself even if you prefer other nation's food etc .

Have not been to Deep for some years. Last time was for a 60th. When we visited this time family were visiting from abroad. The decor had been upgraded in the intervening years. The food then as well as now was excellent, delicious, flavoursome Jamaican food. It was buffet style and there was a wonderful array of food and it was good value. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be returning soon.

Wow, where do I start.. the service is sensational, most definitely service with a smile, attentive at all times. The food, is the best Jamaican food I have ever had in my life! Planned to go here but didn't check closing times. As I arrived the owners were just going home, but they opened up again especially for us. Not sure I've ever experienced that so 10/10 for customer focus. Added to that the food was great and the owners are really nice people. Will defo be going back.

I recently hosted a housewarming party for 50+ guests. I contacted Deep Caribbean following a google search and reading their reviews. Pauline immediately contacted me to discuss my requirements. The food (mutton curry, hake, jerk chicken, fried chicken, rice & peas, coleslaw) was prime quality and cooked to perfection. We collected the food which was prepared hot and in sealed foil containers, ready to put straight into our chafing dishes. Every single one of my guests commented on how great the food was. There was more than enough for guests to come back for second helpings. I cannot express how pleased I have been with the service particularly as I had several last minute changes to the menu and an increase in numbers. I will certainly be asking Deep Caribbean to cater for all my future parties (there will be many), they did not disappoint. Thanks you Pauline and team. Excellent food and service and was accommodated at short notice. Will be visiting again with my neighbours soon, but will book a table in advance. Enjoyed the Saturday evening buffet.

Great choice of Jamaican foods, salt fish fritters, rice and peas, mutton, chicken turkey and a choice a vegetables. The only down side was that it got noiser as more and more people came into the restaurant. But I definitely recommend the food and it's worth a visit.

Attended birthday celebration yesterday 5th August. 14 in group. Food and Service 1st class!!! Staff went over and above to accommodate and made us feel welcomed. Music on point. From the moment we walked in Derrick welcomed us. He's the proprietor. There was reggae music playing which made for a lovely atmosphere. As it was a Sunday it was a buffet. There was plenty of salad, rice and peas, boiled rice, boiled dumplings, curried mutton, jerk chicken and steamed vegetables. All of the food was extremely enjoyable and yummy! We had a really lovely time and will return again.

Excellent food. I happened to be in Birmingham and this resturant was near by so I thought why not try it. I had a warm welcome any dish of curry goat and rice with steamed veg was excellent.

Really liked the buffet, warm welcome and of course rich Guinness punch! A hidden gem.

We stopped here for a meal on a Wednesday evening. Wow was it awesome as the chef came out to talk to my wife and myself about what we wanted to eat, that doesn’t happen in your average restaurant. We joked with the chefs that she should surprise us both and boy she did just that, the food was Devine, the tastes and textures where amazing. We would highly recommend visiting this restaurant what you are in the area.

Went here with my wife and son, and being Indian, had never tried Jamaican food. I absolutely loved the food, the curried goat was bang on and i loved the jerk chicken too! Service is great, my little son even got a few hugs on the way out. Defo recommend!!

What an experience! First class food from a first class chef! We visited as a family of four from Derby and we were not disappointed at all. From the moment that we walked in, we were made to feel at home, there was a great atmosphere, a no hassle buffet with a great selection of tasty Caribbean dishes, nothing was too much for the hospitable, friendly staff. Paulette the chef was present in the restaurant to have a little chat and greet the guests. We will definitely be paying this little gem another visit in the not too distant future! I attended this restaurant for a birthday meal, (my 3rd visit), the chef and all the staff were excellent, polite, patient and welcoming. We had a vast selection on the buffet, the food was delicious, hot, well presented and met all needs (vegetarian and pescatarian). The fish and jerk chicken were my faves. Drinks were served quickly from a great range..soft fruity flavours and alcoholic. Compliments galore from all who attended, I can't thank you enough for making our evening so special.

I have been a lover of Carribbean food most of my life but struggled to find a restaurant that delivered the authentic flavours and delicious food. This restaurant does just that. The food is absolutely delicious cooked with love by Pauline and boy can you taste it. The staff are polite, professional and also amazing tending to everybody's needs. The establishment is warm, welcoming, friendly and spotlessly clean. The restaurant just has it all, so book yourself a table so that you too can have the same experience that Deep Experience has to offer, enjoy.

What a find!. This isn't a luxury white tablecloth setting, but Pauline the Chef is a wizard. Absolutely everything was delicious. Best evening ever and tha k you for letting us come in early out fo the cold before you opened. We will be back. !!

I love eating at Deep as the food is consistently excellent with great portion size. Had a buffet meal, well worth it, my husband ate too much as he could not help himself. Great staff an service. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Very good for our 1st time here, due these covid times I don't think we had the full experience. Having said the food was on point and very tasty. Bit of mix up when it came to payment but got there in the end. Would recommend.

First time me and my husband went staff friendly some food cold had to be reheated I never ate it it was dried out I was told 17 99 for meal each I then complained about foodhad tried meat it was very salty and loads of bones my husband told me he didnt enjoy it and said pay bill and leave i dint enjoy any of it i tasted it dry and went to counter to pay after being told 17 99 it went up to 19 99 we both were discusted to hear the man say sorry how many otters has he told 17 99 then going to pay your told 19 99 i was giving a complmentary meal of salfish and ackee it was vile I took a taste so did my husband the smell and it was off got up paid full amount and left

The food and service was absolutely outstanding. These guys made my birthday! All of the food tasted unreal and all guests enjoyed it. Especially the saltfish frittas. 10/10. I would highly recommend to anyone :)

We were celebrating valentines day at the Deep Experience. Having read the reviews I was looking forward to eating here. We were greeted by a friendly guy at the bar and although we booked, it would seem that our reservation couldn't be found, even though I had a confirmation of our booking. The place was heaving when we got in there , which can only be a good sign. We opted for the buffet which the food was nice. I cant knock the food at all and the service was very good too. I just found the place a bit small in my opinion. So a thumbs up from me.

Wow we've just had an amazing meal, the Sunday buffet is gorgeous. The staff were exceptional and the restaurant was lovely and clean. We loved every item on the buffet and we'll be back soon! Can't wait to try the Jamaican Rum cake we've taken home.

From the selection of food to the genuine authenticity and friendliness of the staff. All the staff were engaging and made the experience feel welcoming, and part of a community. Will definitely be returning as the food was impeccable and staff were just as great.
