The Inn at Pleasant Lake was the perfect venue for our small wedding. We were able to book the entire Inn for the weekend. The owners, inn keeper, and staff were so friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating! We held a pizza party in the Barn on Friday night, which was a great way to kick of the weekend. Our wedding day ran as smoothly as possible and the venue was truly relaxing and enjoyable. The appetizers for cocktail hour and dinner at Okay & Grain were fantastic. The grounds are truly beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and our guests were able to enjoy the lake and kayaks provided by the Inn. We will absolutely be back!

The staff was always friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 12. It was cute, the bed and even the pullout were very comfortable. There was a beautiful view of the lake. We ate dinner at the restaurant our first night and the food was excellent. Peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. We did have to climb two flights of stairs to our room, so it wouldn't be good for anyone who had trouble with stairs.

Well you said to come back and we did! We stayed over memorial Day weekend and it was outstanding. Unlike in March where we had rain and thunder and fog it was crystal clear the temperatures were nice getting fairly hot on memorial Day itself. Was the first time. The staff does a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and cared for. It's pretty obvious this is a fantastic place to have a wedding. I'd say considering the size of the in and the grounds probably a wedding of 100 people or so would be your best bet anything more than that it would probably get a little bit crowded. But the food in the restaurant is very very good some of the best I've had up in this area so I think that any wedding guests would be definitely very well pleased with the quality of the food. They also have ownership of the New London inn which is up the street in downtown New London. We've not stayed there as yet but we're going to check it out once we check out of the inn this morning. For us we probably prefer the end because we like the more cozy feeling where you're not on a main street where the New London inn is but they have an excellent restaurant there as well I've been told. The Reed family runs this place like as they say a well-oiled machine everybody knows exactly what they need to do and they strive for excellence and they achieve it. As I said in my first review we do plan on returning and we certainly will. Rooms are very nice they're just the right size. I would recommend for those rooms that face the lake itself that they probably provide dark curtains or pull down shade as when the sun comes up the room becomes very light first thing in the morning and at this time of the year first thing in the morning is 5:00. The beach is very nice it is shared with the slope and shores resort area which is like a group of houses that run up the hillside so you'll notice it's quite a few people there but it's only those people from the resort area as well as the inn.

Great staff and serivce and the location with the lake and beach across the street totally worth it. Me and my wife stayed for Patriots Day weekend which we found to be very quiet. The Oak and Grain was superb and accomdating with complex allergies. If your not good with stairs room 12 can be tricky to access. We have already made plans to come back each year. The bed we found very comfy so much so me and wife wish we could take it home. We have zero complaints. Lastly if your into hiking 7 minutes down the road by foot there is an interpretive hiking trail takes a few hours and very steep at the begining and few more there is a Pick your own Strawberry farm onseason and an Alpaca farm.

My fiancé and I visited in April 2022 and fell in love with the inn, mainly for the location, food, and peace. We decided to elope here later this summer (2023). I've been trying to contact Olivia for 2 weeks and is unreachable. I've emailed on Feb 24 and March 3, and called on Feb 28, March 1, and March 5. The front desk confirmed Sept 1 is available and advised that my emails are being forwarded and call messages are being passed to Olivia but I'm still not getting a response. This experience doesn't make me feel that my business is valued or that she has the time to take on our event, which is really surprising looking at other reviews.

Great hospitality!! We were very happy with our stay. We requested a room change and the staff was happy to make the transition to keep us comfortable. They gave us the best room in the house!! The food, service and amenities were all top notch.

We stayed at the Inn this week and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The surrounding property offers so much to do and the place feels like a true escape. The Inn’s staff are wonderful - attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. We can’t recommend highly enough.

We were fortunate enough to have all 10 rooms available for our guests for our daughter's wedding over Labor Day weekend 2021. First and foremost, the inn keepers and staff could not have been more accommodating! The Inn became a wonderful bonding experience for guests who knew one another and those who did not. By the end of the weekend everyone was family. The rooms are all recently renovated and each is unique in it's quaint beauty. Every guest was thrilled with the comfort of their rooms. The views from each room are beautiful no matter the position in the building. Breakfast each morning was an extra special experience with the menu changing each day. Every option was delicious and unique. We held the rehearsal dinner in the red Barn on the property and could not be more thrilled with the perfect ambiance and amazing food selections. Should you use this option for an event, we can not recommend the Tappas menu more highly, it was so much fun and gave our guests opportunities to mingle! Dinner at the Oak and Grain dining room is a don't miss experience. Chef Leary is always creating seasonal farm to table experiences and never fails to deliver a fabulous gustatory experience! This is a destination in New London, NH not to be missed!

We had the pleasure of hosting our intimate wedding at the Inn this past weekend and what an experience! From beginning to end the whole process was incredible. Julia was so helpful and kind during the planning process. She made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely incredible! The rooms were comfortable and clean. We can’t wait to come back to the Inn!

I photographed Katie and Nick's wedding reception here. Beautiful venue! Lot's of natural light in the reception / dining space. Very nice outdoor space as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The last time here was Labor day. It was excellent then & excellent New Year's weekend. The restaurant is currently closed going through a major redo. It should be open in spring. Inga, our innkeeper as usual served a nice breakfast before we left. The kitchen is still able to prepare food for groups with advance notice.Once the real work starts that will likely pause. We do plan on returning in late winter or early Spring. We look forward to seeing how the renovations look after completion. Till then have a nice Winter.

This is a remarkable Inn tucked away near Pleasant Lake. What a beautiful location! The rooms are how I would describe as "country elegant", and the restaurant is definitely a remarkable experience. The chef will tell you what you are eating and where everything is sourced. Truly GOURMET food, and mostly healthy ingredients. This is a regular treat for our family.
