HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I will not be returning. I saw Tamara Pride on May 31, 2023 for a routine skin check and a what I thought was a small, cyst on my left thumb. She assured me that it's not a big deal and can "shave" it off in-office. 6 weeks later, the cyst still was not fully gone/healed, so I saw Tamara again and she tried AGAIN to remove it - VERY PAINFUL. After that, through my own research and after seeing an ortho hand doctor, this is a ganglion cyst that should never be "shaved off" by a dermatologist and has to be surgically removed since it's connected to a joint. I'm livid that this PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT obviously does not know what she's doing and made the whole thing worse for me. I've tried calling the office manager to express my concern and of course, no response from them. I will never recommend this office or Tamara to anyone. Complete incompetence and negligence!

Dr. Tamara Pride is always so helpful. She’s great at explaining the problem and giving different solutions. She’s also very honest with you about what may help and what won’t. Everyone at the office is really pleasant and I always have good experiences there.

I'm a Veteran sent to this place by the VA to remove a wart on thumb as an outpatient since September 2023. Initial service intended good. Follow ups just a waste of taxpayers money as they milk the government. Had three Nitrogen shots and prescription since. Place failed to renew prescription on Nov. 13th and now wart has returned to grow and cannot see me (walk in) on December 5th because no available appts can be made until Jan 22nd because end of year insurance purposes comes first while doctors are on vacation also at this time knowing that the VA has contracted them with me until Feb 24th 2024. Will report to VA medical services of Mohs Dermotolgy in CL of it poor quality towards outpatients from the VA. Sincerely.

Jake is one of the most impressive medical professionals I have been fortunate enough to encounter. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficient. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Very good experience overall at MOHS Surgery & Dermatology Center in Crystal Lake during each of my visits. Minimal to no wait time. Jake is very experienced, knowledgeable and a great listener. He explains things carefully and genuinely cares about his patients. Jake is a wonderful conversationalist. During a recent procedure we were chatting and the next thing I knew it was over. Pain free. Thank you Jake and staff for all you do!

I have visited Mohs several times and absolutely love Jake. He takes a lot of time with me and addresses all of my questions. I highly recommend seeing Jake for all of your dermatology needs.

Friendly & caring staff. Front desk always polite and professional. For the past 10 years or so have never waited to be seen long than 5 or 10 mins. My Doctor has a wonderful bedside manner and makes me feel comfortable
