Incredible and huge place. Many accessible paved trails with plenty of off trails as well. Wooded areas and more prairie like areas with some creeks. Tons of rentable shelters and adjacent to a beautiful golf course. I enjoyed the wooded paved trail with my son who's in a wheelchair. We plan on coming back soon to explore more. We had to go quite a ways to find a restroom. All shelters were rented. Cool fire brick oven type shelters also. Lots of dogs, hikers, and bikes yet didn't feel crowded. Everyone was courteous. Everyone leashed their dogs. Clean and beautiful!

Such a BEAUTIFUL park! The lush green grass, adorable German venue on site, and beautiful tall trees make it inviting to drive through and stop by. We grabbed a beer or two and just enjoyed the weather, scenery and fellow park goers company. The landscaping and terrain reminded me of home (I was visiting from Oregon), with the turning of the leaves on the trees Lots of parking here and appeared to be dog friendly, as many people at the park had theirs with them. Take time to stop by and enjoy!!

The newly renovated Pets Park! Wow, it’s Breathtaking 😍‼️ Definitely going to be a new fav spot for my family. My kids had such a great time. The Scenery is gorgeous and the bugs weren't too bad. Loved all the bench seating availability, it was nice to take a break and take quick stroll on the trails and come back to play. My kids absolutely loved it and the multiple slides were a great touch. Highly recommended for independent (4 & up) kids. Location: Area 4, Right after the big Bridge

This park is a nice 2.5 mile asphalt trail for biking or walking. There's also a hiking trail, about 3 miles between the golf course and the road within the park are.

Love hiking here. Lots of trails on both sides of the river. Not all are marked, but it's worth exploring! Beautiful year-round, but fall is just spectacular.

Awesome place, and huge! We ended up at 5 miles with just an outer loop, not including the many inside loops and deviations. Very cool biergarten as well, a bit pricey and ONLY CASH, so keep that in mind. Trails are NOT MARKED, so use Strava or if you're lucky, take a pic of a map if you see one (not to be confused with golf cart paths). Overall we would come back for each season to see the changes.

Pets, as locals call it, is fantastic. One of the oldest parks in Kenosha, it has something for everyone.Hiking trails, picnic areas, an amazing beer garden, and fantastic golfing. About an hour from Chicago, it is an easy and worthwhile destination, especially for family's.

This is a wonderful park. It is very large and well maintained. The bathrooms have running water and are clean. There are creeks, forest paths, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, grassy fields, wide paved sidewalks for walking and biking, and large parking lots. It's a fun place to spend time.

Very nice park. Includes: field, baseball field, walking/bike paths, dog park, and biergarten. The biergarten is very cute and the drinks/food are good. 👍🏻

Nice new trails and walking paths. Love all the wildflowers and work to improve the park. Job well done. The new kids playground will be amazing when finished. Even saw 3 fawns on our walk by the creek.

I loved this park! We have been going here my whole life. But they tore down 1/2 the trees along the river and lined it with white limestone. Looks very unnatural. On the plus side it is still a nice park to go to, several public bathrooms, and boardwalks, several playgrounds, and a fantastic dog park.

We went to take some photos (along with a great many others who had the same idea) of the trees decked out in their beautiful fall colors. Hot some great shots! A very nice park!

Great place to bike, walk dogs, hike cook out. People do not obey signs saying, "reserved" however.

When we were children, long ago, we loved hiking on the trails along the bluffs at "Pets". This past weekend, mid-April '23, was our first exploration of the well-maintained trails at this popular Kenosha County Park. It is fairly strenuous in some places. In one spot a recently-fallen tree had not yet been cleared from the path, and it was so big it was necessary to go around the root ball -- but there was no big danger. There are steps made of 6X6 pieces of wood, which are well-anchored and stable in the soil. There are places in some ravines that are fairly steep, and there are no handrails. There are other places in the park where elderly and wheelchair-riding folks can go for a leisurely tour on mostly level trails. We exchanged happy greetings with lots of people we had never met before, which is always enjoyable.

This wonderful park has a winding road that leads to playgrounds, picnic shelters, walking trails, and yes, the beer garden. It is pretty updated and only a short distance from the city.

Great trails, fun Bier Garden, Beautiful Scenery, all while feeling completely safe. There are several playground areas, one that's hidden and a treasure to find. All ages and levels of functions can enjoy this park, and bring the dog for the dog park. 🐶. If you enjoy some small fishing, bring your rod. This is a good day's activity for the whole family.

A local gem. You can hike, bike, dog park, picnic, baseball, soccer, beer, bird watch... Oh, what else do you want? Clean bathrooms, check. WiFi, check. Collect spring water? It is a spring park, after all.

Great place for a good walk or light hike depending on how you decide to wander -about 2.5-3 miles for main path. It was very busy. If you hate dogs than this is not for you as they were everywhere. Leashed of course! There is a dog park within& they looked like they were loving it. Looks lime it would be a great picnicing park as well.
