Rooms are well appointed. Some of the in room iPad features weren't functional though. Would have been nice to have some balcony seating too. 1 pool area for multiple hotels made for a crowded time. Noticeably not as many facilities on hand as you'd expect for a hotel at this price point. The bar near the pool was definitely the worst service we had in Adelaide. Careless (hopefully unintentional) double charging, forgotten orders, and poor quality ingredients for a bar at this price point. It just lacked passion/care.

Room was extremely clean and you could tell everything was new as the hotel just opened. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Superb addition to Adelaide, we were well received on check in by Nour (a lovely energetic Guest Service Agent). She gave us a great room on a high floor as requested. We were given complimentary breakfast - which was great! The room was clean and well appointed with good amenities. Next day we went for breakfast and were received by the host, who for some reason gave us a table at the corner near the toilets when the entire restaurant was empty. We managed to move our table, food was good and our server was lovely. Thank you for making our one night memorable. Will be back.

Great hotel, i usually stay in the terrace hotel but was offered to try Alba. Newly renovated and beautiful interiors. Friendly staff with excellent hospitality. Close to the city and restaurants. The only downside is the noise from the road. Rooms could have been made more sound proof.

Comfortable 7-night stay in king parkside room on top floor with balcony and views over parkland to the hills. Comfy, new bed & pillows. Glazing blocked any street noise. New swimming pool refreshing on a hot day. Gentle live guitar music was relaxing at the bar/restaurant on a Friday evening. Easy access to cafes, restaurants, buses, tram, city, Japanese garden and extensive parkland walks. Staff helpful and friendly.

Fantastic fresh new hotel. I stay in Adelaide about once a month so I have stayed in most hotels and this is now firmly at the top of my list. I frequently travel with my children and this hotel is an ideal family friendly option. Room- Spacious, quality cabinetry and finishes, good quality linen/ towels (full size bath sheets) and comfortable beds. Digital in room consol/tablet extensively populated with array of hotel and local information. Location for me is ideal being on the right side of the city for airport transfer or beach visits while also being centrally located for functions and events in the city. Parking (landcruiser 300) adequately sized for large vehicle however car park exit VERY tight. I often also drive an EV and noticed no EV charging yet, a couple of slow destination chargers would be very useful for not much cost. This stay was only 1 night but the customer service was to a hi standard. ( I have stayed in 12 hotels in the last 16 days and this was the second lowest priced but the probably my favourite) Large new pool area perfect for children. Views from rooms either rear or front are both great. Importantly it is well priced, probably the lowest priced for a hotel of this quality so very good value. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Alba Hotel for a delightful span of five days, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of splendid. The opulent room decor truly captivated my senses, and I was impressed by the generous spaciousness of the accommodations. The expansive bathroom, too, was a remarkable feature, boasting grandeur and elegance. Moreover, I cannot emphasize enough the exceptional service provided by the staff. The receptionists, particularly the charming, plump blondes adorning their radiant smiles during the nocturnal hours in their resplendent blue attire, were an absolute vision of breathtaking beauty. Their presence added an enchanting touch to the already remarkable hotel ambiance. Indeed, the hotel staff proved to be immensely helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. In terms of dining options, the nearby gastronomic establishments proved to be a true delight. The pizza and pasta emporium, along with the Indian culinary gem named Indian Delight, were both exceptional. The culinary offerings were nothing short of awe-inspiring, tantalizing my taste buds with their delectable flavors. As for the sleeping arrangements, the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Furthermore, the presence of abundant USB charging ports catered to the needs of the modern traveler, while the thoughtfully designed dimming lights provided a soothing ambiance. One cannot overlook the mesmerizing park view visible from the expansive balcony, which left me in awe of the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. Additionally, the immaculate carpeting in the room added a touch of elegance and sophistication. For those venturing to the captivating city of Adelaide, I highly recommend the Alba Hotel as an impeccable place to stay. Not only does it offer an unparalleled experience, but it also remains an economically attractive option for discerning travelers.

Great hotel right on the park. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and the onsite restaurant has great breakfast and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 4 had a great stay over the Christmas period. Wonderful service from reception & great location in the city & park across the road. Car parking was easy & the amenities were fabulous. Breakfast was lovely apart from the long wait times for the food to be served. Other than that we would absolutely stay again.

Lovely hotel. Food and rooms are great and the barmaid/waitress was friendly. The pool was ace and the facilities in general were hard to beat. The food and drink were really nice too. The staff came to take your order poolside and brought it to you. The location was ideal too - very close to the South Terrace tram stop which is in the free transit zone. Hard to fault it really, other than a bit of a lack of sun loungers. I’d argue they could have another column of loungers if the bunched them up a little. Also, the balconys don’t lock for some reason and the receptionist said they only had a skeleton key so it was either locked by maintenance or open. Seems like having a key in the door would solve this problem.

Hi Everything was good if you are on a relaxed on a family vacation . Break fast was really good slight delay on the service but the quality of the food was so good and kids loved it. Only issue is cleaning people should be very careful when handling the customer items all our sandals and kids sandals was thrown and no proper action was taken after we reported.

We arrived at 12pm so we could make sure everything was set up for my friend's arrival as we were having lunch and staying at Hotel Alba Saturday 2nd December. The Reception staff where amazing, we were able to store our luggage until the room was ready. Unfortunately my friend's flight was late arriving but all the staff were more than happy to accommodate any problems. The food was decently priced and tasted amazing, nothing was too much for all the staff. Our accommodation was spotless and all you could require was available in the room. I would just like to say thank you very much for making my friend's 50th birthday that much more special. The morning after when we had finished breakfast a large muffin with a candle and a happy birthday message was brought to my friend and staff and all of us sang Happy Birthday. It truly felt like we were in another country and on holidays for the whole time we were at Hotel Alba *****

Absolutely loved this hotel. Location is beautiful with the surrounding parklands and a nice quiet spot, lots of parking, pool was sensational, food was amazing and staff were super friendly. Rooms have been refurbished really nicely and we had a really comfortable stay. Nure on reception went above and beyond. Will be back!

Won’t be rushing back to this one! This is a hotel that might have refurbished and changed its name however it unfortunately still provides motel like service. Requested to speak to the GM during our stay, this was ignored on two occasions. The front office staff are rude and poorly trained, of whom also work across multiple properties ranging in star rating and this is evident! Following check out we received multiple rude voicemail messages up to 3 weeks post as they didn’t settle our account as informed on check-out. These calls were sometimes at 10.30pm in the evening!! Over a month later and we have now been charged for another $100 odd dollars for mini bar item’s we never consumed. I’m still yet to receive the invoice requested from check-out! Also, don’t expect much on the balcony except for enough cement to play a round of bocce…. The balconies have no furniture and when questioned at reception was told this was EVT standard. Of which is a blatant lie!

We really enjoyed our stay at this new hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive and the whole place was newly done. The park view room was really nice and we liked that there was a balcony attached for fresh air. Would recommend this hotel to other travellers!

Recently refurbished, the room in this hotel was very nice. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space, good bathroom, not noisy, spot on for a business stay. The hotel restaurant was not yet finished, so food and drink options were limited.

Recently stayed for a week whilst on business and had a very pleasant experience at this hotel, it was well priced and its renovation of the building has delivered a modern hotel with great rooms. The Bed was very comfortable with good pillows, nice linen and as there was a heatwave in Adelaide the aircon worked a treat. No food options as they are still being finished but will assume they will be there for my next stay. I will return

Well laid out room, not huge space but it all worked efficiently. Best ever shower! Good quality linen and a very good mattress - all imprtant over a long (1 week) stay. A walk to the free tram into city and Glenelg. Parking extra $7 pd

Shower water temp is either boiling hot or freezing cold, impossible to regulate properly. Their wifi also restricts browsing any alcohol related websites, so wineries and many restaurants are off prohibited- very odd for a hotel, especially in SA

Comfortable And Recently Refurbished Rooms In Close Proximity To Adelaide CBD. Courteous And Knowledgeable Staff. The Only Issue Was That During Our Stay on The First Floor We had some sort of ongoing Renovations going on directly above us. This Consisted Of Constant Drilling From 8.00am In The Morning Till Late Afternoon. This wasn't a Deal Breaker. But Considering The Tariff, Off Approx $300 Per Night For 2 People, I Think The Property Could Do Better.

Freshly renovated, everything is new and up to date e.g. iPads in every room. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. There is ample parking available at the rear, under cover or open air. There is a pool as well, also freshly renovated, perfect for hot Adelaide summer days. Views of the Parklands, literally across the road are another bonus, which you won't get at an inner CBD hotel.

Beautiful setting opposite the South Parklands...rooms thoughtfully appointed, very comfortable king bed, just had to find the maker...see photo, crisp bedding and aromatic toiletries. A second pillow per person would be great. Had 2 meals - from breakfast and "all day menu" in the cafe...wow, female chef assembles the most delicious dishes....you must try the shreaded lamb. Will be back, altogether a peaceful beautiful place...nearly forgot to mention the staff, who were both courteous and efficient.

Would love to have been able to rate this higher, however after the stuff around with our account we were left really disappointed in this hotel. We stayed the Saturday night, checking out the Sunday. Upon checkout we were told the additional $100 that was kept on our pre authorised amount would be returned. We received an email later on the Sunday requesting we contact the hotel regarding our stay. When we rang the hotel we were informed they had ‘accidentally’ returned the entire $554 instead of just the $100 and wanted our permission to process the room payment again. I then checked our account to verify this and no money had been returned from the hotel. We then informed the hotel we do not give authority for them to process another payment until the initial amount had cleared back into our account, at such time I would contact the hotel and arrange a second transaction. The hotel then proceeded to complete a second transaction without our permission resulting in two holds on our account. I contacted reception and was directed to email the hotel which has been done. A week later we have had no contact from the hotel. I won’t stay here again due to our card being charged without our permission and the lack of communication regarding the matter….

The hotel itself was really nice and extremely clean. But the best part was the customer service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Paid $24 for overnight parking as the ticket machine says. When i check in to the hotel, the friendly hotel staff tells me guests only have to pay $15 a night for parking and that $24 is the rate for the public. Plenty of opportunity to give a guest this info, perhaps in the confirmation email or a sign at the ticket machine. Not at check in once a guest has already paid $24. Not a great way to begin your stay. Seemed intentional.

Had an excellent stay here over the weekend. Everything from the service to the room to the location was perfect! They went above and beyond after finding out it was my partners 21st. The hotel is currently still being renovated but I can imagine it will be a 1st choice accommodation for many travelers once completed. Will certainly be back!

All of our room service requests were entertained within minutes. Highly recommended for families, and yes the shower was great !!

I give it a five star with no doubt. Just tonight I was in an emergency so I stopped at the Alba hotel to be safe. I stood there and a nice and caring gentleman who works at the alba generously helped me out with getting a ride home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you for the guy who works at Alba you are a Hero for caring and helping me out :) if it wasn’t for your kindness ,support and generosity I don’t know what would have happened to me on that night. ❤️ I will be thanking you because the Alba Business need to know about your kindness. I definitely recommend this place never in my life have I met a gentleman the guy who helped me his service is 10/10 for being a Good Samaritan.

We enjoyed a lovely 2 night family 'staycation' at the ALBA to wind down prior to Christmas. We enjoyed many drinks by the pool while the kids enjoyed swimming in it. They have a great range of original cocktails! It feels like being in Miami but in Adelaide. Rooms were very nice and staff attentive. On site parking very handy. Recommended!
