Taco libre is one of the best taco shops in Adelaide. You can purchase them per piece for a cost of $7.50. Tasty and flavourful beef fillings. YUM! Come and try taco libre , you’ll not regret at all!

Yum yum yum. A tiny hole in the wall place (meant for takeaway but there are a couple of outdoor small tables if you need). Absolutely delicious birria tacos. Teeny tiny menu, options are beef or veggie tacos which are gluten free and a cheese quesadilla (literally just cheese in a tortilla). There are also fresh churros for dessert. Feels super authentic with wonderfully friendly staff with a quick turnaround.

Amazing tacos, simple and hearty food. A bit pricey but more than worth it. They only do one dish Beef birra tacos and they nail them (and the vegetarian version)

This is a hidden gem! I always come here with family or friends. The ladies in the kitchen and counter are a delight. I always feel so welcome when I come. This is a must try the tacos are very flavourful. Melts in your mouth mmmm :)

Oh this place is AMAZING - a small but outstanding menu ……. I am in love with the Birrs Tacos here. It’s a small hole in the wall type place with a few unbookable outdoor tables. I suppose the theme is simple but somehow outstanding. Be prepared for a taste fest. Love the seemingly Mexican music that adds to the vibe. A little expensive per taco but you will bit be disappointed with the flavours.

No frills authentic taco experience. Warning, if you want a fancy night out, this is probably not the place for you... but if you want some of the best, most delicious and authentic tacos going around, eating on the side of the road (street food style) this is the perfect place to visit. The menu is super limited. Only a few options done exceptionally well. Service was a little slow and was unclear if you are dining in whether you have to wait or whether tacos and brought to your table. Minor but would have been helpful to know for first timers. Will be back for sure.

Although Taco Libre is situated in a small strip shop with only a few picnic tables, it is worth the trek. Born in Cali and having been to Jalisco Mexico two times, these tacos Birria are on the mark. I’ve waited years in Adelaide for this place. I am saved. It’s the real deal folks and everyone at Taco Libre is so nice. I only wish their opening hours were more accommodating. Only open at 5p and closed on Sunday? This place should be open all weekend long! Comeré aquí una y otra vez.

I am Mexican/America and have been craving tasty tacos. Their birria tacos taste just like home; albeit with their own kick. I am glad I found a good place to eat delicious food from home. Their consomé is also good but I much prefer their salsa option as it is spicier and tastier. Thank you, will be back!

Hands down the best tacos I've had. Super delicious, and the sauce that it comes with takes it to the next level.

I've had many tacos and these are by far one of the best I have had. The beef taco and cheese quesidilla was amazing and the birria sauce was great too. Highly recommend.

Who would have thought in our wildest dreams that a truly authentic Birria experience would be right in our own little backyard! Absolutely delicious delicious Tacos made with love. It’s not often both the adults and our teens agree on anything in our family, but we all give your yummy Birria’s 10/10. Thank you for the little escape to Mexico with every bite!

Yum yum! First time eating at Taco Libre and it didn’t disappoint. Taco’s were packed full of flavour with a lovely spicy hum. Quick turn around and great service.

Went there expecting to eat a good taco and was completely blown away how much better than expectations it was. If you haven’t been yet you need to… definitely recommend you eat it while it’s hot on street at the bench tables they have.

The birria tacos were pretty good and filling. I had 3 of em and was set. I’ll definitely be back again

Paid $45 for 6 small tacos. The tacos were honestly pretty fantastic but for the price, the little container of sauce and the small tacos i don’t know. Waited 40m+ maybe it was during peak hours but i had a movie to catch and had to watch the next one. Think they forget about our order because people ordered after us got their meal first. Not a good first experience i can’t lie.
