I
came
in
both
Saturday
and
Sunday
this
week
to
both
Delights
and
LightSpot
next
door
(same
owner
for
both)
looking
at
various
lights
to
fit
our
new
home.
On
the
Sunday,
we
made
an
initial
purchase
of
$542
for
9x
Oyster
Lights
in
total
at
Delights,
and
$430
at
Lightspot.
To
be
clear,
we
have
not
taken
delivery
of
the
Delights
stock
yet
-
only
ordered
with
the
store
as
they
were
carrying
insufficient
stock
and
would
call
us
when
it
was
in.
We
called
on
the
Monday
morning
as
we
wanted
to
reduce
the
quantities
of
the
Oyster
lights
on
order.
We
were
told
that
the
boss
has
a
policy
that
no
refunds
will
be
issued
-
store
credits
only.
Even
though
we
aren't
'returning'
the
goods
per
se
-
we
haven't
even
got
them
yet.
I
would
better
understand
if
we
took
possession
of
the
goods
and
then
tried
to
return
them
later
for
a
change
of
mind,
but
this
is
not
the
case
here.
We'll
take
the
lights
when
they're
ready
for
collection
and
on
sell
them;
but
we
certainly
won't
ever
shop
here
again.
Sure
this
is
in
line
with
ACCC
refund
rights
but
it
might
be
nice
to
support
your
customers
with
a
longer
sight
to
drive
in
repeat
business.
Little
bit
short
sighted
of
the
'boss'
to
keep
this
$150
difference
in
his
bank
account
now
and
then
lose
future
business
because
of
it.
Where's
the
benefit
in
supporting
a
local
independent
store
to
be
faced
with
things
like
this?
We'll
stick
the
bigger
chain
stores
that
offer
better
prices
and
more
flexibility
in
future!
