Absolutely amazing. My husband and I randomly googled a place for dinner and we weren't expecting much. When we got there we were surprised at how modern it was. It was super busy inside so we sat outside, staff were absolutely lovely and the food was incredible! Can't wait to come back!

We arrived a little later than our 6:30pm booking on a Saturday evening. It was a little busy. We had a booth and found it to be a very comfortable spot. We ordered 4 mains.. (Chicken schnitzel, Pork cutlet, crumbed fish and a grilled fish) and some sides. (Seasonal Vegies, cheesy garlic bread, sweet potato fries and baby potato's) The food was very good and arrived in reasonable time. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful, as we swapped a few of the menu items around. Came in around $40 each including drinks..(Wine, Beer & Soft drinks) We all enjoyed it. Definetly be back.

The food was nice but waiting over an hour and a half for the meals was ridiculous...if this was a one off fair enough but my daughter has said she has been 3 times the first she waited an hour second time 2 hours and then now 1.5hrs..obviously you either need to make the kitchen area bigger to accommodate for the amount of diners or hire more chiefs. Kids meals usually come out quick 1hr wait...the starters usually come out early so U can snack on before Ur meal....1hr wait also, for me this just ruined the night

Totally refurbished upmarket & large spacious dining room, was very surprised. The meals were large servings, good prices, quality scrumptious food. There were 10 of us on our table, so got a good idea of their menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, including myself. Fantastic friendly service, will definitely be back.

Nice looking place, big dining area & friendly staff. Not happy to pay $37 for a small porterhouse steak which is chewy & gritty, pretty disappointing. Floor staff are also too quick to interrupt us to take our plates/glasses whilst still in the middle of eating, had to politely tell a young boy 2 times we are still eating.

I ordered the lamb. It was cooked well and well priced but was 45 minutes before served. I would ask for sauce on the side as it was too sweet for me as I would have used more sparingly. 'Dutch' carrots were regular carrots.

I have come here a few times with others. I have to say I was impressed with the size of it. The down side with the amount of people that were behind the bar couldn't cover the people that were there. They have a QR Code at the table plus tab and go. You can order and pay for your meal without getting up or waiting or lining up to order. That was a great feature. Overall 4 out of 5 for now.

Love coming to the V. It isn't technically local but it isn't a long drive either. Great atmosphere, great food and we bought into the mood and played the raffle and won a meat tray! This is how I think a local should be. If you are cruising for a new spot, try the V, just make sure to book as it's real popular!

Had a meal, 6 of us. They were quite busy but the staff were very good. Meals came all together and clean up was soon after all finished. Gave us take away containers. Meals a little costly but delicious.

I'm a support worker, staff and regulars are very welcoming and provide a great atmosphere,we have been lucky and have many friends, basically we have the best time, enjoying company, the dining room,food excellent, sports bar, 8ball tables, Friendly,Clean.lve gone 15 stars .

Food at the V hotel was really nice for a pub meal. All meals that we ordered were tasty and very well priced. The staff were friendly providing recommendations of the more popular dishes which we really enjoyed. Also, the restaurant is open and spacious with high ceilings.

Dropped in for a casual business meeting with a drink. Looks a good place to eat but didn’t really suit our needs for a casual table for 6. Went outside and the only area was smoking area. Will be back for a different need and look forward to a lunch

definitely not a first choice for a meal but it is quite a nice place for a big feed. good value for money as their serving sizes are huge so you’ll never leave hungry. just a little disappointing that the steaks never get cooked to how you ask, a medium rare steak came out the same as a well done one??? personally when going to a place like this, getting a steak is a treat but constantly being let down in the quality of how it’s cooked. customer service is okay, only a few actually look happy to help you. overall, definitely not a bad place but just not a first choice

We come here at a minimum of once a month! There is an awesome play area for kids. It’s not overcrowded even when it’s busy and we always have a great meal.

Thank you to the lovely staff member who recognized that my son who had attended the ladies bathroom with me (he’s 4) might be upset by the loud hand dryer and waited for us to exit with a big smile as we did. It’s the little things that go a long way, and we really appreciated that small gesture.

OMG the food was AMAZING. Excellent clean and beautifully decorated establishment with friendly staff. It was really busy but we got our food and drinks quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. Love the ordering system at the tables, made it so much easier. We will definitely be coming back it was worth the travel.

The food was outstanding and quick service. The dining area was really clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and great service. Good gluten free choice. Indoor kids playground. Highly recommend.

I'm very fussy eater as i was previously staff of Sheraton hotels. Training staff for 5 star service..this V hotel deserves support from the local community 👏 well done Virginia 👏

If i could give 0 stars I would have. dissapointed with the menu options, have a gluten free diner in our party being told that even the "gluten free options" weren't gluten free. "Crispy" pork belly was leathered, we were told we must have left it too long to eat it.

Whilst previously we've always been impressed by the food, service and atmosphere, the new limited menu released, lacking even basic pub meals like steak, (apparently due to Covid, but only changed in May 2022) is a hugely disappointing, so we should not be returning. So unfortunate, because prior to that, it was a wonderful place to eat out with the family.

Average food, average service. I told the waiter to please take the 3 pieces of garlic bread I had left as it came out cold & was tasteless. Hi response "well I'm not the chef". I know that buddy, your job is to relay that back & sort me out a refund 🙄

Great place to eat. Have been here a few times now. Well worth the drive. The dining area is well laid out with booths along the sides with some near the play room having tv’s at the tables to keep the kids at the table instead of wanting to run off like usual. Food was great every time and very fairly priced. Staff were very helpful and they were happy to move us to a more suitable table to accomodate the space for us to put the pram next to the table with us. Highly recommend

I had a pizza, which is always great at the V, others who had deep fried meals complained of yucky chips? Service from staff was awesome apart from the old guy behind the bar who rolled his eyes at a $100 bill and huffed and puffed at someone ordering a cocktail. We felt like a inconvenience for him? We also received no bread rolls...

90% of the time this place is amazing, and I can’t fault it, it’s our local, and have been here many many times! But one thing I won’t do again is come here on a public holiday because they run out of everything even sauce. We were wanting the steak burger.. no steak. No chicken, had the v burger. Usually really good, we always ask for extra sauce for our chips, but they wrote it down as no sauce.. so you guessed it our burger were dry as!! We asked for sauce at the table, which they gave us, but wasn’t the same. One burger came with no lettuce.. made it even dryer!! Patty was also over cooked! Chips were below average of what they usually are.. The C team were on tonight for sure.. so disappointing!

We had a fantastic meal, there were about 18 of us including kids and everyone loved their meals. The staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back

Good food but terrible customer service. The waitress gave us attitude for asking about a meal that had not yet come out. Thought we were trying to score free food. Rolled her eyes at us and gave us dirty looks when we were trying to explain. Will not be going there again. 😡

We're definitely planning to go back there. Do I need to say any more? Ok I will. Spacious, clean, friendly staff, delicious reasonably priced food. Out of almost 20 plates, I didn't see too many that had food still left on them. It was only because I was full, that I didn't eat all of my 12" pizza, but geez it was good. Make it a trip to go, but please leave a table for us to use.

10 of us went for Thursday lunch, which was great. Service was attentive and accommodating. Location airy and spacious and they accommodated us with a square table setting which is much better for group conversatio.

We had a lovely family lunch with 9 of us. The service was excellent, the food delicious. I had the lunch time special fish and chips plus the banana split for desert. We had a great catch-up and never felt the need to hurry. Easy drive from Port Adelaide 25 minutes and you're there. Amazing venue.

The food is always AMAZING!! The serving sizes are excellent and I love that they have a great little play space for the kids. I do wish that it wasn't paid arcade style games, but that perhaps with every kids meal ordered they received a certain number of tokens. I also love the size of the booths!! Definitely worth a visit!

Food was delicious, pub has a lovely, family friendly atmosphere. Great play space and games space for kids. The fully enclosed alfresco area would be the perfect place to watch sport.

Good place for informal dining. Meals were good quality and a reasonable price. I thought it would be really noisy given the amount of people dining in but it wasn't.

Me and the missus went here today for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Schnitzel was crumbed and cooked to perfection and gravy was spectacular. Chips were bloody devine. Enjoyed my time there. Will be back in the future
