Coffee is good, service is fast if not a tad unfriendly, but hands down by far the worst bagel I've ever had. Toast the bagel BEFORE you add anything so the inside is toasted and not soggy. No one wants to start their morning with a soggy inner bagel with the world's tiniest amount if cream cheese. If I wanted to be that disappointed I'd just look in the mirror.

Fabulous ambience. We stopped by for a coffee and snack, but an evening of music at The Jade must be wonderful. Definitely going to try it soon

Watched a local music show last night. Atmosphere at The Jade was nice, wood fire was on and it wasn't too packed. The music performance area is not too big - everyone can see and hear without being squashed!

What a beautifully intimate venue to watch a show in. I'm not sure how many people would actually be able to be seated in here (100?), But that is what ads to the charm and the intimacy of this venue. You can almost feel as if you are a part of the show. Being a smaller venue means that you will have no problem hearing the performance whether it is spoken word or singing, although in saying that, it is mic'd up to enhance the performance. There is a bar (adjacent to the performance area) which has a great selection of beer and cider both on and off tap as well as a very fine selection of spirits. I'm lead to believe that food is available, but there wasn't on the day I went to the performance (Sunday) on account that they aren't usually open on Sundays. The staff were also really nice. I look forward to the next time I get to see a performance there.

Loved it. The staff were good, the space is good, love the furniture and the ease of moving around the different spaces. Good outside space and the inside space is right for the vibe. Good work folks! Looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Best coffee in Adelaide, nice bagels too. A great, secluded, leafy courtyard in which to hide from the suited rat.

One of the best coffee chops in the city. The coffee is great and although the food is simple it's the perfect pairing for your morning caffeine hit. If it's nice out you can enjoy the quaint and cozy outdoor seating. If it gets too cold, you can head inside and sit by the fireplace. I can't recommend this cafe enough

Went to The Jade last night for a Fringe event called "A Box of Memories" A Musical about some hard truths with humour and perspective from those dealing with Dementia from different points of view. Very well written and great performers undertaking the subject. Highly recommended and needs more shows next year. Well done to the McKellar's ☺️

Drinks are unnecessarily expensive. They are charging prices that belong at a hotel lobby bar. But, instead, the washroom was most likely flooded and leaky, and the overall ambiance is like a cheap motel you find in a town you are passing by. Good for hosting concert-like events. Plenty of space for audience members to move around and watch performers.

Great place lovely staff however as someone with sensetive ears I was a bit disappointed there wasn't a proper stop to zone out the music and loud sounds but over all is a great place to catch up and chill

The best venue for a party or wedding of around 120 people. Fabulous setup and such a great spot in the city

The Jade has a lovely atmosphere and their service is really good. I am vision impaired though, and this place is very dimly lit. With the steps, etc. there, I find myself not feeling quite safe.

SOUR-FACED, rude, sullen, UNFRIENDLY waiting staff when I walked to the outside area and placed my lunch order. The lunch Food was ok, nothing to rave over. I ordered the vegetarian ciabatta, however it was rather salty due to the large amount of olives and minimal eggplant. Definitely NOT worth the price! It was during a conversation when I enquired about the other lunch menu options, that I was spoken to in a rude manner, by an unfriendly, unsmiling, female staff member, who didn’t even try to make eye contact, nor display any sign of warmth nor pleasantness, that I began to question why I was even bothering to endorse this place. Why was this person almost snarling with contempt at me? Through gritted teeth she informed me that: “It’s not curry day”. My lunch order then took an exceedingly long time to arrive. No smiling, nor friendly rapport, nor pleasant customer service experience at THIS establishment. I WILL NEVER RETURN, but I intend to inform at LEAST 20 people of the DEPLORABLE way I was treated. HINT HINT: Get your horrible, rude staff to be more customer focussed, pleasant and friendly! DISGRACEFUL! It will be interesting to see how the management respond to thus review. Horrible attitude, I don’t know how that revolting woman continues being employed. Wish I could give it NO STARS!! Stop treating customers with contempt, you awful woman!! And -this woman is probably still working there!

What a great place. Saw The Beat Boogie Boys last night and they were fantastic. Drink prices were fair and staff very friendly. Would definitely go there again. Especially if you want to dance.

Great Panini's, the right size (not too big, not too small) and quality ingredients. A pot of tea with real tea leaves! On top of that, very good service. Highly recommended outside in the courtyard for lunch, or inside at the bar for Friday night drinks.
