The food was prepared with fresh ingredients. The broth was quite tasty and hot enough. Attentive service and reasonable prices. 4.5 stars Thanks!

Pho is still consistently great. Always busy with a line up. The kids love the pho. I love the pickled onion served with the pho. We drive all the way from the south to eat here. Broken rice is also amazing. Can taste the charcoal flavour with the pork chops. Roast pork is crunchy and it is topped off with fried lard with the spring onion dressing. The best!

Great food! Pho is one of the best in adelaide and broken rice is also yummy. Price has risen recently but still justifiable. Sometimes you may have to line up! Staff are friendly

The discovery of the spicy pork beef noodle soup is definitely amazing. The XL is almost twice as the L bowl. The waitress is sensitive to detail as she bring us an extra bowl after I casually said that we are sharing. We don’t have to ask for that as we did in other place. Very 👍. 5 stars recommended

Great pho, rare beef. There is only beef pho, so if you are vegan or a chicken pho person this is not the cafe for you. Plenty of Vietnamese diners which is a recommendation in itself. Beautiful silky noodles, tender beef in the sweeter southern style stock. No star anise. It is a busy cafe, this area has a few hidden Pho cafes worth the drive.

Viet Hoa has been the closest to good old Mum's home cooking. My partner and I have been to most Vietnamese restaurants around the area, and have never really enjoyed the food. Its either been too Westernized or poor quality in ingredients. Until we decided to finally stop in Viet Hoa, and we were blown away. Now we understand why they always have crowd of customers waiting to be seated. I believe with a small menu, they are able to keep with the best quality ingredients and are able to concentrate on what they make best. The best beef noodle soup I've ever had, the soup is light and not super heavy or oily like I find most other restaurants. The best pork chops too, I love the marinade they use and I'm not sure how they cook it but I would love it if they could render the fattier parts of the chop. To help our Pho and Com Tam Biet cravings, we always go to Viet Hoa. Compliments to the chefs and the fantastic staff.

The bad - Their combination egg/rice noodle soup's pork rib is more of a cheap pork bone rather than the rib that didn't had much meat on it; they could've also been more generous with their side of minced patty The good - They still have the best broth/pho in Adelaide - the pho was very beefy and flavourful but not in an 'artificial' ajinomoto way. It wasn't too oily and came with enough beef in the dish too. p.s. this place is so good there's always a queue out their door for a table. they practice strict social distancing rules too and are very organised, so it's feels very comfortable dining here. Many, many stars from us. :)

Been eating here for years and the food is amazing! Love the combo com tam (combination broken rice) and the roast pork is crunchy and not hard. The pho is delicious and tastes authentic. The cutlery isn’t the cleanest so I recommend cleaning it before using and the grounds not the cleanest. The dishes have gone up in price which is sad to see.

The beef pho (tai nam) did not live up to expectations. The rare beef fillet was fully cooked, the brisket was 100% lean, dry and tasteless.

Too bad the service was the worst. Being a frequent customer but now Im changing to a different restaurant. One of the earliest to get into the restaurant and order first ( 9:50 I have been there as always) but once got admitted to the seat. I have to wait nearly an hour to get 2 take away serve ? Please, improve your service before increasing the price. You guys are actually losing customer at this service rate !

Food was great but this place is crazy busy. We had to line up outside before we got an empty table. Good service and yeah that’s it. I definitely will go back.

Place was full at 2pm, lucky to get a seat. Full of people from SE Asia which is a good sign. Simple menu of 5 different Phos and 3 Broken Rice dishes. Very quick and friendly staff. Food smelt delicious and tasted great. Cooked fresh and with fresh sprouts, basil and lemon. Highly recommended with very reasonable prices.

very tasty soup. i got the rear beef and meat ball in large, broth was amazing fair amount of noodles which were cooked to perfection and the right amount of meat, rear beef was still abit pink when my bowl hit the table it was very good. pho soup is there main sell point but they also sell a couple of rice dishes and a list of drinks. viet hoa has a very big turn around, i went with a group of work mates on the thursday lunch time we walked in a group walked out the waiter's were quick to clear tables. weekends theres a line up out the door. All and all highly recommended.

Very regular here. Dine is OK. Whenever doing takeaway, always disappointed... Although service is awful THE BEST PORT CHOP BROKEN RICE in the world 🙆‍♀️ Charge $0.5 for the Chilli oil👏👏 It's free when you dine in🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Extra surcharge on card payment 👏👏

Got the Combination Broken Rice (pork chop, minced meat slice, fried egg) from this place. Tasted good. 18 or 19 dollars.

One of the very best Pho places in Adelaide. Recommended by a work colleague, we checked it out for lunch. There was a queue, as we’ve been warned, though the amazing Pho made it all worthwhile. Service was very efficient. Highly recommended.

The combination broken rice (com tam) is absolutely delicious. The pho (beef noodle soup) is good but not the best I've had. Unfortunately I've given it 3/5 stars due to cleanliness - the cutlery, tables and floor could do with a good clean. I recommend cleaning the cutlery yourself prior to eating.

Every time I need a bowl of pho I go to Viet Hoa. Just make sure you go early on weekend otherwise you might need to wait for a table. Doesn’t take long and sure worth the wait.

The Pho is always amazing here and the best that I have tasted in Adelaide. Every time we come it always satisfies me and my partners pho craving The broth is so rich and flavourful and the fatty beef is delicious

This restaurant is amazing with Vietnamese food. I love the spicy beef noodles soup and the combination rice. They have the best Vietnamese spicy beef noodles soup in Adelaide. Plus lovely service and good prices. My mouth watering when thinking about their food. Yumm!

Authentic and amazing Vietnamese food. Great service. Never takes too long for the food to come out. Their combination broken rice (cơm tấm đặc biệt) in particular is my favourite in Adelaide and I always come back for it. You won't be disappointed.

It is a little pricey but the quality is totally worth it I suppose. I can understand why there is always a long queue on the weekend but I wouldn't personally line up. I'd rather go there during the week or do take away. I also recommend ordering the combination broken rice instead of the pork chop broken rice. I was given only 2 small pieces of pork chops and I'd rather have one piece of pork chop and all the other bits and pieces that come with the combination one. The beef noodle soup is very tasty too 👌 Customer service was prompt and friendly.

I've been coming to this place (under different names) for over 30 years. Today I had the best ever lunch, a bun bowl. So delicious. It's very busy so you might have to wait but it's absolutely worth it. Thanks to all involved in preparation, cooking and service.

Best pho in Adelaide and very good service! The broth has so much flavour guys, delicious!! 4 stars only because you charge people for a glass of water.

  • 5/5 Deke S. 6 months ago on Google • 3 reviews
Food is delicious, beautifully seasoned, however not a whole lot of selection, only 3 dishes (broken rice, pho and combination vermicelli). The wait is a bit long on the weekends but worth it. Will definitely come back.

Finally! A place that does BBQ Pork chop over fried. Serving is a bit small for $17, but overall it's good.

So far the best Pho I have ever tried in Adelaide! Broth rich of flavour with fresh herbs and sprouts, nice spicy chili on the side will kick your soup to the next level. Highly recommended my kids love it! Great winter dinner! Manu is small so everything is fresh and tasty!!! Definitely will come back
