The Kitchen Door Restaurant here is just great. Very relaxed comfortable environment, and the staff are friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. Have eaten here several times now and come away very content each time. This is fine dining, so be prepared to slow down, match your wine if that is your want, and feast on local produce beautifully prepared and presented.

Awesome food brilliant location and views. Very country style. Lots of open light some nice art displays of local talent. Out door and indoor facilities. Lovely wine variety and beer too.

Not a great experience. Came with a group and we received very poor service. No explanation of the wines we were tasting, the waitress said it was “too hard” with a mask even though other wineries gave us this experience and they were wearing masks too. The waitress didn’t wait until everyone was seated to welcome us and start our tasting, she just started pouring wine and everyone walked in wondering what was on the table. Only received one white tasting and the rest reds? Initially thought we were booked in for a gin flight, but then told that wasn’t the case and that the gin section “doesn’t open” until 12:00pm, but there was no urgency to try and make our experience better. No conclusion to end the tasting, we all just walked out when we had to leave for our next stop. A very awkward and unfriendly experience from 2 female waitresses, very disappointing and will not be returning. Shame because it’s a beautiful spot and location.

Had a great afternoon here with my wife on her birthday the staff were amazing and the food was brilliant. The wines are also quite nice and they are also stocking some nice beers and Jin. Shout out to Luke and Kate today for making us feel most welcome.

Loved this winery. Did an extensive wine tasting with 8 different wines, by far the most variety in the area. Chris, the man who delivered the tasting, was so knowledgeable and friendly. We also ordered an incredible cheese platter that was quickly demolished, even despite its massively generous size!

Fantastic cellar door experience, a private shelter and a bocce provided make for a lot of fun. The fact that the wine is pretty good to boot just adds to it all. Luke, the cellar door manager, makes sure he looks after you too. Well worth a visit.

Lovely staff member looked after us we'll with tastings outside under the veranda, sorry didn't ask his name but had english accent. Pitty the kitchen is closed until further notice though or could've possibly been a five star rating. Good to see garden games available & being used by a young group of visitors too

Friday chefs tasting menu. Dine interesting dishes. Chef seems to have a sweet focus which didn't totally suit us but each to their own.

So much to love about Penny Hill. Fabulous service, wine and the ability to sit inside or out in the barn style shed - was perfect even for a cool winters day!
