I
broke
my
glasses
back
in
November
right
before
a
big
social
event
in
another
state,
and
Specsavers
were
great
at
making
sure
I
had
sight
for
the
big
event.
I
did
a
Contacts
Trial
because
it
was
such
late
notice,
and
really
enjoyed
them.
I
was
told
the
contacts
has
30
days
of
wear,
and
to
come
back
in
2
weeks
for
an
after-care
appointment.
I
also
ordered
and
paid
for
2
pairs
of
glasses.
This,
however,
is
where
the
fantastic
service
stopped.
I
went
back
to
make
my
after-care
appointment
and
was
told
that
they
"were
not
taking
bookings
for
after-care
appointments
at
this
time"
and
the
store
attendant
acted
like
my
asking
was
a
hassle.
I
have
just
called
Specsavers
to
request
a
copy
of
my
prescription,
both
for
Contacts
and
Glasses,
as
I
am
going
overseas
in
a
few
days.
I
have
been
informed
that,
as
an
after-care
appointment
was
not
booked,
my
Contact
prescription
is
invalid
and
can
not
be
issued.
I
was
also
told
that
my
Contacts
are
only
good
to
wear
up
to
30
days
from
the
packet
being
opened
(not
what
I
was
told
at
the
initial
fitting
appointment).
I
made
a
point
of
mentioning
the
amount
of
misinformation
I
was
given
at
my
initial
appointment
when
I
was
on
the
phone
to
the
store,
and
the
response
was
"Oh,
yeahhh".
What
a
great
way
to
handle
complaints.
I
will
now
have
to
have
another
Contact
Lenses
consultation
and
fitting,
hopefully
before
my
trip,
but
it
will
be
not
be
with
Specsavers
after
this.
Neither
will
any
of
my
future
frames,
lenses
or
sunnies.
