Queen of Tarts

Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 A genuine gem on Hutt Street. Fantastic coffee but it really was the service by the owner that makes this place shine. I only visited three times while I was in Adelaide but each time I felt like I was an old friend who had been going there for years. It'll be the first place I visit next time I am... People often mention service, coffee, amazing, owner, great,

A genuine gem on Hutt Street. Fantastic coffee but it really was the service by the owner that makes this place shine. I only visited three times while I was in Adelaide but each time I felt like I was an old friend who had been going there for years. It'll be the first place I visit next time I am in the city. I highly recommend you stop by for coffee and cake.

I would come here even if the coffee and food were awful. They aren’t, at all, just the service is as good as it gets. Wildly entertaining every single time. It’s like a fringe show every day. Love it, a brilliant example of ‘flavourful’ service.

What was all that ‘rave’ about QOT?? My lads would come home and rave about the service and food!! So I finally made my way there!! Oh my gosh…..💥. The hand made pie, the pastry is ridiculously delicious, absolutely amazing! The filling equally as delicious! So much more homemade delectables on offer!! The service unbeatable!! Even the price is reasonable!! Boujee food but not ‘posh’ money$!!!😁

Great food and fantastic service, the owner is friendly and has a sense of humour. Chicken breast with spinach was delicious. You can park right outside your table! Prices are very reasonable for hand made food. Will eat there again when I'm next in town.

The food was amazing. It was very tasty and and the service was perfect.👌 My 2 sons loved this place so much that they wanted to write a review, so the above are their words :) It's not often that you find a place that has amazing food and service and that young kids love too. So many vegetarian options as well. Will definitely be back soon :)

I cannot think of anywhere that has a more friendlier owner/service, and some pretty darn amazing coffee and tarts. Reccomend the Polenta Tart it's to die for! PS not for kids!

The owner of Queen of Tarts is hilarious - he makes you feel so welcome and genuinely wants you to have a great experience. The food offerings are home made, fresh and inviting - I somehow felt healthier after eating my pie! Generous serves and great value. On leaving I had a full stomach and a great mood.

Pretty much the complete package here ... be ready for a experience ... it's not just a place for the tarts! ... fun and games all round. Maybe a little, or big, surprise if you're lucky. Keep an open mind and I'm sure you'll find a smile waiting to spread from ear to ear. Foods pretty sweet too.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful cafes I've ever been too. Small and quaint, but so lovely. The owner is one of the nicest men I've ever met and his service was an absolute pleasure. He makes wonderful coffee and lovely food. Just a really really lovely place to get a coffee and a snack 😊

Absolutely love the vibe of this place! Owner is funny, friendly and fantastically unique! Coffee (and iced coffee) + selection of handmade goodies are yum - especially the tarts

Best pies during our Adelaide visit, excellent cappuccino with plenty of chocolate powder, delicious desert tarts that don't have too much sugar. Owner's a delightful character.

Good to see the QoT survived Covid. An iconic Cafe on Hutt St. The food is still great, especially the pies, and the coffee is worth sitting down for. Always a relaxed and pleasant location to take a break.

Just lunched at Queen of Tarts again, their quiches are very good and whilst they are not large they are full of flavour. Will go back.

Johnny provides such an amazing service! His coffees are delicious and the tarts are to die for! His customer service is amazing and he remembers EVERYONE! i’ve never been in there without him greeting a customer by name or even just calling out as someone walks by. My absolute favourite cafe in Adelaide would 100% recommend!
