Nice, fun little place with good food (toasted sandwiches are very filling!). Only let down was my iced chocolate/milkshake - it just tasted like plain milk so wasn’t really worth the money in my opinion and I wouldn’t go back to have it again. There also aren’t quite enough tables and chairs for when it gets busy. It has a unique, quirky atmosphere though and the food is good quality.

What’s fantastic business tucked away. if only I knew about it sooner. Bloody good coffee and set up. Had a horrid order of 6 different coffees and 6 different milks in peak hour and the cafe owner was kind and caring to everyone stuck waiting. Do yourself a favor and head here for a great coffee!

Somerton Park’s best kept secret. One of coolest little cafes in adelaide with probably the best coffee, and run by someone who seriously knows their stuff. There aren’t many places where you can get really great coffee, a traditional New York Reuben, all the while being wowed by the eclectic record collection that the owner is spinning every time you go in.

Sensational coffee, excellent non milk options. Primarily local produce. Quirky decor & decorative pieces, the highlight is the vinyl record playing delivering warm old tunes. Update Nov2019; again excellent take away coffee from here today. Now also has outside seating to enjoy the good weather.

The food is great and the prices are very reasonable, just a personal preference I really don’t like the music it’s like a 1920 horror movie and the tables and chairs are setup like a nursing home. The staff are very friendly.

Delicious food and coffee (great beans and milk used). Cool tunes and retro theme. The owner takes care with sustainability, locally sourced produce and great service.

Love this place, and the guy who runs it is an absolute champion! Hot tip, you can grab refillable dawn patrol coffee beans here too!

Unfortunately I missed this little gem when I was a regular visitor to the area. Today, while running errands I finally found this little gem, Lampshade Cafe. Very cool, very retro, quiet and cozy. I am loving the coffee.

A neat little cafe with great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. Some quirky novelties around the place along with vinyl playing in the background. I'll be back for sure..

Excellent gourmet toastie menu, not your usual boring sandwiches. We had the Ruben and it did not disappoint, can't wait to try a different one next time.

Great atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff. Chris' carrot cake delicious. Enjoyed reading his friend Tohby's book. Laughed out loud. It's a place one wants their loved ones to experience. Will definitely be going back. Oh great coffee!

Excellent coffee!! Happy I found this little gem. It is tucked away, gorgeous scents of freshly cooked cakes and toasties hit you as you walk inside, very understated decor featuring Australian landscapes, games neatly aside for customers to use - they all seemed eco friendly. The coffee cup was biodegradable, and I noticed they used local brands such as Paris Creek Milk and The Tea Catcher tea. Overall fantastic and glad I took a chance on the little place and walked in. It’s cosy and calm in there.

Cute "little" cafe just off Diagonal Rd. They have Breakfast, Toasties, Rolls, Cake. There is great outside seating but rug up on cooler days. The coffee was very nice, but not hot enough. The decor is retro with skateboards, LP's, teaspoon collections & the like.

Best long black I had in Adelaide. Silky smooth texture with caramel sweetness and hints of citrus and acidity. More concentrated than a typical long black due to lower water/coffee ratio which makes it more like a Moka pot coffee without the sedimentation issue. The owner surely takes pride of his coffee making skills.

😐 American styled joint. Thick shake was thick enough. Chocolate peanut butter tasted so good. The ice cream was just a normal ice cream with a fancy name. Burgers are small in general. Buns were soft. Lettuces have shrunk. Shroom patty is the best here. Beef patty a little dry. Onion rings were crisp...

😠 I don't normally give negative reviews unless a product or service continues to disappoint. It's happened here at Vili's too often now. After purchasing a Pie and Kitchener bun drove back to work, pie was ordinary yet when it came to the Kitchener bun that was the final straw. Stale beyond belief, w...
