Absolute perfection! Beautiful location overlooking the beach and amazing food. Food was fresh, delicious and perfectly executed. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. We had an intimate reception here after our daughter was married on the beach and it was a perfect day. Highly recommend the Star of Greece.

My friend Nisa and I managed to snag a table just post a booking cancellation thanks to Lucy It was an amazing night being waited on by Jackson and Charlie… The food matched the excellence in service; really. We heard this restaurant usually has a 3 month wait list and felt very lucky to be able to get in at short notice. All the food we had was delicious. Well thought out flavours, good use of local food and great wine list. One of the most incredible positions along the beachfront! The portions are on the large side so we couldn’t fit in dessert. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is because the menu lacks innovation. It is a great restaurant for family groups.

Outstanding food, service and views. The staff were so lovely. We sat in the new section by the window at sunset which was just magical. All of the food was brilliant. The only suggestion I would have would be to remove the chargrilled prawns from the menu as they stink the place out every time someone orders them 😬

Our dining experience will probably rank in the top 5 of my life for the rest of my life, I found it that great. Service was kind, thoughtful and prompt. Flavours were fantastic. The setting was incredible as we were lucky to get a window seat. Just an all round lovely long lunch that I'll remember for a long time.

Worst thing about this place was being able to get a booking, make sure you book in advance. Great experience otherwise, food was fantastic and decent serving sizes. Service was attentive. Extensive wine list. Ocean views were amazing as well. Would recommend

I made a booking for my wife's 40th birthday week at The Star of Greece restaurant. This venue is an absolute culinary gem! My late afternoon booking with my wife was a gastronomic delight. Our meals were not just delicious, they were downright amazing. The service was impeccable, and the staff's attention to detail made our experience exceptional. And let's talk about the views – they were some of the best we've ever encountered. Dining with the ocean as our backdrop was a feast for the senses. Absolutely stellar food! On the harder side to book but worth the wait! Had the three course option with crispy eggplant, duck main and coconut rice pudding to finish. Quality fresh produce and overall a great flavour experience. Covers well for dietary restrictions. Highly recommend, can’t wait to try the summer menu!

While this is an iconic destination- as locals, it’s such a privilege to have ‘fine and friendly’ dining on our doorstep. Great for a special occasion, and also great to treat yourself to a special lunch that is made from fine local produce, great options for drinks and excellent service with a price tag that is surprisingly good value for the experience. Oh and there’s quite a nice view!

Not only is this restaurant in a prime location with elevated views of an amazing coastline, the food matches. It is fresh, local, with a punch of unpretentious flavour. But ! No matter how good the chefs are, if you do not have the great front of house staff to engage customers it can land flat. Simply amazing. The staff, the food, the view. Every part of our evening was wonderful. Finding a restaurant that takes care with food allergies, particularly coeliac disease, is amazing. We'll be back for more.

Honesty worth a 6th star. Brilliant setting with uninterrupted views of the ocean and sunset. Fresh food, gorgeous ingredients, and brilliantly fairly priced. $220 for 2 people for 3 course dinner and drinks was outstanding. So homely. Fine dining without the price or pompous treatment. Loved it

Date night with stunning food and views. Each course was delicious and the right size to enjoy them all. Had the Lamb Shoulder and got to have bites of the eye fillet. Lamb you could cut with a spoon and desserts at sunset was nearly too much to take in. Highly recommend and very practical kids menu from the looks, will be back.

Star of Greece lunch restaurant. We walked in, ordered, and were gifted with an amuse-bouche. This was a tasty starter flavour. We waited one hour and 30mins for our mains. Although customer service was great, they offered a free dessert because we had to wait without even asking. People were really friendly. The food was delicious. They catered for dietary restrictions. The steak was medium to well, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The price is quite expensive.

What a difference a year makes! Last year I rated the takeaway component of this restaurant as 2 star. This year we visited the newly renovated main restaurant for my wife's birthday, and in stark contrast to last year's experience, it was superb! The service was exemplary, with all staff helpful and cheerful. The food was delicious. I could have chosen any item from the menu and been confident I would enjoy it. As it was, the roast pork belly and bug tail was tasty, with crispy skin on the pork and lovely sides. The king george whiting was excellent, as was the gnocchi. A word of caution - the mains are generous in size. Only big eaters would want an entree and/or desert as well, and there is hardly any need for sides. A good selection of wines supported the food, as did the chef's complimentary starter and the birthday candle on my wife's desert. Well done to the whole team!!

Our experience at this place was simply delightful! The meals were enjoyable, the wine was exquisite, and the variety of gins was heavenly. The beautiful view of the calming blue ocean, where you could even see the bottom meeting the shoreline, added to the overall charm. To top it off, witnessing dolphins dancing in the distance among the reef was a magical moment. We highly recommend this spot for its fantastic food, drinks, and the mesmerizing atmosphere. It's a place where great memories are made, and we can't wait to return for another wonderful experience.

Came here as part of a function (Indian Pacific excursion) The food was cooked well, had great and different flavours (eg chilli oil and 'rice cake' on nicely cooked steak). Food came out together, no one at a table was waiting long. The vegetarian options looked like proper choices not just leftover While the wine offered was extremely drinkable the non wine, water options were not clear.

Wow wow wow. Total package here. We chose the three course menu and we loved it. The atmosphere, the food was absolutely devine.

Book ahead, it's worth the wait. staff were very accommodating and efficient. Menu/flavours is Asian inspired (I was expecting Greek) The food was well presented and both steak and salmon was cooked perfectly.

Beautiful views and a lovely restaurant! We had a really nice lunch here, we shared some appetizers, and ordered the duck and whiting for our mains. The food was great but I think it may be somewhat overrated to how some described the restaurant.

Food was nice, but the waiting times were long, staff were friendly enough though and even allowed us to move to a better table. Very expensive and meal portions quite small. I guess this is typical of a "posh" restaurant 🤷 Beer was average and over carbonated.

Absolutely beautiful view of southern Australian coast from the deck. They offer a sit down menu that feels more like fine dining or a more casual option if you’re in a swimsuit getting a break from the beach and want to fish n chips. The service is very good despite being a popular spot. They have a well thought out seasonal menu with a vast drink menu. The coffee is also quite good. The muffins are incredibly dense but worth trying. BLT is also light and full of flavor.

Highly recommended that utilises the local seafood in its menu. Service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. Unfortunately our view of the beach wasn't the greatest but can imagine that the views would be good during summertime. Highlights were the scallop entree and the desserts. The mains were great quality but expected given the prices. Wonderful views and a very nice small portion of fish and chips from the kiosk - but didn’t let me use the toilet so not overly impressed with this place. Fortunately the public toilet nearby was well stocked.

Had a romantic dinner for two. Had a fantastic indoor table. The food was amazing. The chef is so fantastic, the whole kitchen staff clearly love their work and it shows. The gnocchi was to die for and the squid was so tender and delicious. All the wait staff were so friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. 5 stars isn’t enough.

We booked almost 3 months in advance for dinner. Worth it, as if it is a nice day for the Verandah, the 1st bookings in get first options if you call the morning of your booking to request the verandah. Food was delicious, and they are VERY on top of their service. We had 3 people and everyone loved it.

Amazing! Beautiful location, wonderful food, wine and excellent service. The food is divine, no matter what you order. You overlook the beautiful waters of Port Willunga and the staff are very attentive, polite and knowledgeable.
