Worst LOTF ever visited. $14 for this burger, which is not even the size of my hand, really terrible the amount of veggies on my burger.. there was free snags on the streets that were worth more than this food, as a vegan I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, couldn't close the door of the store when there is 12 degrees outside, if you dare to come bring a blanket.

Not impressed with how the venue is presented. Came into every table covered in rubbish and sauce. Sat down and covered my jacket in sauce. I asked for a cloth to clean the table. They declined and proceeded to not clean the table properly. On a positive note, food tasted good. Haven't had much vegan food but I'd rate this pretty high. Food is good but I'd recommend not eating in Tl;Dr venue was trashy and covered in sauce. Food is good.

If there was a rating below 1 that would be the appropriate one. I ordered an Aloo Tikki burger takeaway yesterday. Instead of giving me an Aloo Tikki burger, the patty which I was served was made up of soya. I am allergic to soya. Unknowingly, I ate the burger and I experienced horrible abdominal cramps and faced a lot of health issue post eating that. You don't expect a big company franchise to create such horrible error. Highly disappointed.

The food itself is really nice. If you're not real keen on salty food though, I'd give it a miss. Definitely suggest grabbing a sauce to balance out the saltiness. The chips were great, not oily or anything. Probably suggest getting it to take away as the place itself is just not a very comfy place to eat, it's very stark. Music was way too loud, especially as there were only 3 customers. Still, great vegan junk food!

Had a really bad experience here after i was recommended to go, my food was hard to eat. Very salty fries, burger was boring. May have been a bad day as I heard great things, might go back

All vegan, which is great, but wasn't really good to taste. Simply, just over loaded fries, not worth the price. Much better options available just around the corner.

Very good service. Staff is very cooperative. One of the Best place to eat the vegetarian or vegan things. Which is the best part that it's pure vegan. Everytime I go there I just fell in love with their delicious food. Really so yummy.

Worst lord of the fries I have been too. The chips were over done, the burger was just not up to scratch with other LOTF establishments. The staff were not attentive and the atmosphere was off, I am sorry to say but LOFT needs to review this place and its location(stinks of vomit from the party goers the night before) the food preparation and end product needs to be checked as the quality was severely lacking, and the staff had to be asked to check the order as there were items missing from the order.

The chips were cold I asked for crunchy ones. Good value for money but only one staff working on busy early evening. I will give them one more chance next time.

Don’t need you incentivising me to inject mystery liquid in return for some free fries. And this is how you speak to ex-loyal customers that you got off side.

Slow disinterested employees, only 5 groups of customers in the restaurant one asked for a refund, and one walked out without eating their food. 30+ minutes of waiting for small box of nuggets, 5 wings, and frozen chips, whole lot of it was cold and was not even close to edible. You could hear everyone complaining about the quality of their food once it eventually arrived. According to google it was far less busy than usual, I’d hate to see the wait times when it’s busy. Absolute garbage experience. Would not recommend.

I really want to love this place, but the food just isn't great. Tacos were basically entirely sauce, no mince - 2/10 BBQ Rib Roll had so much BBQ sauce - tasted like it was a dessert - 2/10 Loaded fries were pretty good - 6/10. Chicken nuggets weren't bad - 6/10 The brownie was shocking - 2/10. Overall.. 2.5 stars out of 5.

Vegan with a heap of gluten-free options. Try the milkshakes! The brownies are outstanding - especially warm. Great place to take in the vibe on Hindley Street while getting a feed. Love the retro style too.

Probably the worst fast food place I've tried over the decades. Hot dog had almost no flavouring to it, and was cold to serve, the cheese had no effort put into being melted. The kebab fries - horrible ratio of sauces, the meat was from frozen patties which had a plasticky taste. Mac and cheese balls were dried quickly, the contents were barely warm The Vegetarian burger was in a battle with Macca's to see who could best misrepresent a burger . Terrible and would never ever go to this franchise ever again.

Worst ever Hsp , literally have to find chicken pieces, was told buy stinger burger it’s spicy but again no where near it. Regret spending at this store.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering a spicy hotdog combo from the infamous franchise store called "Lord of the Fries." To say that it was a disaster would be an understatement; it was a culinary catastrophe of epic proportions! First of all, let's talk about the overcharging issue. I handed over a crisp $20 bill to the cashier, expecting to receive my change as any reasonable person would. However, to my shock and dismay, the cashier had the audacity to inform me that there would be "No change!" This blatant disregard for their own prices, clearly mentioned on the wall, left me fuming and feeling like I had been swindled. If you can't trust a business to honor its own prices, then what can you trust them with? Now, let's move on to the main event: the spicy hotdog itself. If there was ever a contest for the saddest, most lackluster hotdog in existence, Lord of the Fries would take home the grand prize. The hotdog was not only uninspired but also tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for days. The promised spiciness was nowhere to be found; it was as bland as a beige wall. The bun was stale and appeared to have been left out to dry in the desert sun. The combo meal included a side, and I chose their so-called "fries." What I received can only be described as a pitiful handful of limp, undercooked potato sticks. I could have made better fries blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back. To add insult to injury, the service was abysmal. The cashier's indifference to my overcharging complaint was matched only by the apathetic attitude of the kitchen staff, who seemed to be going through the motions without any semblance of pride in their work. In conclusion, my visit to Lord of the Fries was a total nightmare. I paid an exorbitant amount for a subpar meal, got overcharged, and was treated with a complete lack of respect. Save your taste buds, your money, and your sanity by avoiding this establishment at all costs. Lord of the Fries? More like Lord of the LIES!

I paid $10.60 to get 6 nuggets and sauce. The sauce was frozen and the nuggets are baddd. Bring back the old nuggets and make it more affordable! Vegan deserve to gorge on junk food too!

Went to Adelaide for the day to explore and stopped at lord of the fries (my partner and I always wanted to go). And it’s definitely it definitely lives up! Amazing food, so yummy! And soo cheap compared to other plant based places or even non-plant based places. Will definitely be returning in the future

Have decided to find places that sell great chips, and came across this establishment while near the city. Their name suggests a focus on fries, there are 4 types of fries, it is more of a diner type experience. Located on Hindley street, with eat in and take away. Got a regular serving of classic chips, serving size was small for the price ($6), cooked fairly well with a slight crunch. Overall average.

Fresh, delicious food.we ordered onion rins, classic chicken burger combo and 10 wings. Onion rings were freshly done and crunchy. Chips was crispy and burger well and neatly assembled. Wings could have been a bit better/ freshly cooked but it was heated well. Friendly and great service by S.A. Good choice of songs

Delicious vegan food. I love the stinger burger with a side of shoestring fries! The hash and patty is a very good breakfast option.

Took literally 1 hour to get two things. Needs to work on the amount of time it takes to make food

I enjoyed having such a variety of vegan dishes. The entire menu is vegan. The stinger burger and shoe string were delicious. The staff were helpful with their recommendations.

The best vegan junk food. Opt for the premium patties and you won't regret. They also have another menu for southern style food, however it uses the same patties etc. The Parisian sauce with chips is my favourite.

  • 2/5 Aaron T. 11 months ago on Google
Expensive. Got my orders wrong. Food too salty and can visibly see clumps of salt grains on the onion rings. Kids were okay with the mac and cheese balls. Credit given for going vegan. Ample space to sit.

I literally love this place. If it ever closes I will have no reason to live.

  • 5/5 Andrew W. 5 years ago on Google
Awesome selection of plant based food. Is rather expensive, especially if you upgrade to the Beyond Meat, and add fries etc. It's very much a place to go every few months or so. The new hotdog is pretty good.

Great burgers and sides, grabbed some 'chicken' sides this time and they didn't disappoint. its on the pricey side especially with the premium burger range but having a vegan chain open late for food is a must.

Only 1 person working in the store during busy lunch time. My soft drink was expired (had to get a new one), burger patty was dry and chips were tasteless (no salt). wait time of 20mins for a fast food is not acceptable.

  • 4/5 L T. 1 year ago on Google
After trying the vegan egg and patty here and in Melbourne, I am shocked at how much better this one was. It was significantly better made and more delicious with a nice shop and moderately quick service

  • 4/5 Cameron 1 year ago on Google
The spicy burger was really tasty, and although the onion rings were a little non-standard in size and appearance, the flavor was really good. Wish we had this place in Seattle!

Really bad experience, way too overpriced for the portion. Too much salt in the fries. Burger was too small with no taste. Mac n cheeze were average. Music was really loud as well.

  • 3/5 Tom G. 1 year ago on Google
Lord of the Fries is good, in that it is what it is supposed to be. It just really surprised me there's not a mushroom burger on the menu. Like, why does it all have to be fake meat?

  • 1/5 Dave G. 1 year ago on Google
Shocking service, very overpriced food. It'd be great to have more vegetarian & vegan speciality restaurants, because this one desperately needs the competition. Avoid at all costs.

This is probably the weirdest review I'll ever give. It's to do with Soul Plate Kitchen, LOTF's sister option. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Plate on Uber Eats. Shrimp Plate apparently means a tonne of fries and 6 small pieces of shrimp with a paltry amount of the "cajun sauce". They hide this by mounding the fries atop the shrimp, instead of the pictured shrimp on top of fries. The "creamy" mac and cheese was dry as a nun's you-know-what, and also was a very small serving. The "corn bread" was a corn cupcake, btw. As far as taste goes, I couldn't fault it. Flavour was fine. But don't call it a shrimp plate when it's a fries plate. And change your picture to reflect how you actually serve it, which was bloody terrible tbh

The food was good, nothing mind blowing. A homeless man came into the store and stole my plate.

Tasty, 100% vegan, full of options. Just try it! Friendly staff and delicious food.

Perfect at the end of a night out. Good options and everything is really yummy! Omni's love it too.
