Cafe Garden center Plant nursery

👍👍 My mum and I experienced amazing levels of customer service. We went to Newman's Nursery to buy a remembrance rose for my granddad who has recently passed. This was our first time going to the nursery and we are beginners in terms of growing plants (not at all Green Thumbs!). We were taken care of... My mum and I experienced amazing levels of customer service. We went to Newman's Nursery to buy a remembrance rose for my granddad who has recently passed. This was our first time going to the nursery and we are beginners in terms of growing plants (not at all Green Thumbs!). We were taken care of by Alex who made sure to explain what we needed to do to take care of our roses, he took the time to show us all our pot options, and he went above and beyond with his service. He even potted our plant, added soil, watered it, and helped us load it in our car. Thank you so much Alex! You have made our experience exceptional, especially at this difficult time. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful Nursery. Staff are so helpful, and don’t worry umbrellas are available for use if it happens to rain. Offers some beautiful ideas for Potts & garden features as well. Topiary Restaurant is also on the the premises so it’s very nice scenic views while brunching. Note: Restaurant closes between breakfast and lunch service 12-12:30

Purchased 8 rose plants, one died. Asked for a refundwas told to dig up to plant and return to their shop. This was impractical as i live 100km away. Response by "Manager Daniel" thats your problem. The cost of petrol was greater than the plant. I have sent photos and video this was not enough to satisfy Daniel. As an alternative i suggested sourcing a replacement , Daniel stated not their problem. He then hung up. Very rude, arrogant Manager. NEVER purchase anything again from Newmans .

Very healthy plants. Staff very knowledgeable & friendly. A big thank you to the young lady who carried my purchases to my car. I bought a lovely new rose now I have to find somewhere to put it. Always room for another rose.

Beautiful location and a great cafe, although a little pricey. There are all sorts of trees for sale - fruit, flowering, etc. And lots of flowers. Also herbs, and garden decorations. There's a kind of south American section, including cactii. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cat is apparently not for sale.

Fantastic local nursery. If you are looking for something special or just some colour this place is great. Friendly service, good prices, wide selection and they also offer advice to help your garden. The amazing restaurant topiary is also located here so shop for plants and have a 5 star meal.

Best nursery in Adelaide. Excellent staff. Answered all questions and provided great advise. Learned so much how to care for my plants. Cannot wait to plant the roses, fig, orange and black tulip trees. Thank you so much Monika. We will be back in a few weeks. High recommended. Next time will visit the Cafe for morning tea. .

An amazing place to buy well cared for plants or just walk through and enjoy the bird life. The cafe is a great place for a coffee so something more substantial.

A lovely place to spend a morning or afternoon. Visit The Topiary Cafe for breakfast, lunch or a sweet bite. The menu is thoughtful and the food and coffee is prepared superbly. Family friendly. The garden centre is well balanced with a large range of seedlings, plants, ornamental trees and herbs. The giftware selection is delightful...if not a little pricey but good quality.

Bought 3 roses... paid top dollar. All had fungal disease and had to take great pains to rescue them. One died, the other two are struggling. Wouldn't buy again. Poor quality. By the way I am an experienced Gardner and know what I'm doing. And can concurr, the cafe staff are cold and service is poor and coffee mediocre.

Huge range of plants in a lovely setting. If you eat there, order the Tommy Ruff - best dish on the menu!

NEWMAN'S NURSERY IS TOP NOTCH!! Go for the experience and the layout which has been around for over countless years! You'll get the best service, advice and products!! Treat yourself to brunch / lunch at Topiary Cafe and then stroll the grounds... You'll need a booking though in the sunny weather ❤️

Great service, wonderful nursery, decent prices. Super friendly staff. My favourite place to by a new plant, or go for a walk around the nursery.

We are visiting from Alice Springs. We went here to get strawberry plants for my granddaughter. Such beautiful healthy plants. I absolutely love the indoor plants and a beautiful selection. Will definitely visit again before returning home.

Great garden center. It has been operating for umpteen years so swathes of knowledge.Plants and trees are very mature,so it's worth it to just walk around and take in the splendour of the center. It has a great eatery with luscious goodies. They are specialists on Magnolias.Do yourself a favour and head on down and meet the gang at Newmans you will have a great day.

It is a nice place to visit. I would not buy plants there. We bought 6 advance size camelias at $110 each with 10 bags of special soil, as been recommended by onsite specialist. However, one by one plants start dropping leaves & died in 6 months period. We went back when 1st plant became sick but same specialist told us that it is our problem now. We are seasoned gardeners so it isn't a negligence on our part. Now we replaced with camelias from other nursery & they are grow like a charm.

Staff too busy doing things on the computer to serve customers. Said "just be a minute" but 5 mins later still waiting. She even went to get another staff member to help her on the computer while customers waited. So we left and bought nothing. Sale opportunity missed. Newman's!!! Went back again a few weeks later. This time customer service was superb and staff very helpful. I love this nursery so was very pleased. Now would give 4 stars but upgrading only to 3 due to earlier issue.

Fabulous as usual. Am a regular visitor and plants are always exceptional quality. Easy to brouse, plenty of helpful staff to assist and give advice on plant care. Popped into the Topiary Cafe also where quality of food is amazing. Overall "loved it"😀🌹🌲

I bought a bottle of Eco oil marked $24.99 but was charged $29.99. When I pointed out that I was overcharged I was told that I would not be refunded $5 as the price had gone up and instead he gave me a different bottle marked with the higher price. His manner was contemptuous and dismissive. Bad experience.
