The night sea brings the cold winter air to the shore along with the waves, so I put on three layers of warm clothes before stepping out of the car with my loved ones. This is a place where I can walk in silence without being disturbed by the city noise. With gentle steps, the sea lulls me into an eternal dream. For me, it's like a close friend, and it's especially amazing on summer days when the blue sea is transparent, pure, and quiet like a beautiful and sacred part of our souls.

Lovely area that is a lot quieter than the main beach of Glenelg. It can be a bit smelly depending on which way the wind is blowing. There are a few tables with shade, but due to the angle of the roof it doesn’t provide much shade at all. A good spot for watching planes. Free parking, and a lovely walking path linking the main part of Glenelg with West beach.

Great beach, would recommend for families of 10 like mine! The kids loved it and the wife was happy, bring a few beers along!😁

I come here sometimes to walk my dog in the evenings. The beach is usually quiet, but loses the sand if the tide is high. There are no cafes or public conveniences, so if that's your thing, Glenelg or West Beach are the closest alternatives.

Lots of people and dogs catching balls, beach is clean and easy to get down to from the road.

Very clean easy parking, not as busy as south side of river. Kids loved it. Great for a walk.
