Such an amazing destination for coffee, chocolates and more! The taste was delicious! Situated in the Adelaide Arcade, with outdoor and indoor sitting available as well as upstairs, where you can enjoy the view. I couldn’t even tell I was in the busy environment cause it felt so calm. Such an amazing customer service, although we waited a while to be served, we really enjoyed. I will visit again and again. The price were reasonable. I bought a takeaway for home too. Thank you again for the amazing customer service!

I ordered their Belgian hot choclate and it was super cozy and the best one I have tried so far in Adelaide. It wasn't sweet, it was just perfect and service was pretty quick. Also loved their choclate theme. The ambiance makes you feel like you're part of a choclatw world.

Lovely spot located in the Adelaide Arcade. The chocolates are sublime especially their hot chocolates. Love the ambience and music ( when they have it on). I gave it 4 stars because the table service is a bit inconsistent and the top deck seems to be always closed. Other than that, it’s a great spot to enjoy hot chocolate and much more. My favourite is the Belgium hot chocolate

The hot chocolate was tasteless and very milky. The paper menu was messy and full of stains on it. When I mentioned that, no one cared.

Chocolate here is stably and consistently good. Experience today?! Horrible! After 10 minutes waiting for a table I myself have to ask if there is actually someone going to serve or not. The same time the counter staff (with her head wrapped in scarf)just totally ignoring me(her name might be mariann) and serve 3-4 other retail customers as if I am totally INVISIBLE. Some staff from inside came out and said they are short staffed and even there is one in hospital. I said clearly I understand the situation and happy to wait but not being ignored and plus I’m sitting outside and ready to order( which was what I usually do when sitting outside). She then took my order. I again said to her I have no problem if I have to wait longer but neglecting customer is definately something needs to be improved. Waiting outside for about 15 min our chocolate does come. This white lady said to me she needs to emphasise if in the future they are this busy(which is not) again she can cease outside service. I said to her politely that she should have told me this earlier when taking my order then I would just go. She would like to continue “educating” me, so I asked if possible I grab her name and her colleague’s. She said “ No why!” I said that’s just normal customer’s service. She said “because u have problem with that girl not me, and I thus would not give u my name”. I said “well then both names pls”. She eventually gave me the names and wanna keep talking. I said to her I think it is time for me to eventually enjoy my chocolate. Her name is CLAIRE AND THAT RETAIL IS MARIANN! This is an experience that would stop me from going again and will let my friends know too!

I'd never stopped in Koko black before. Tried their classic Belgian hot chocolate today and it was divine! Might have even tried a few chocolates too 😉 Do it!!

The chocolate varieties here are simply irresistible. A must come when you are in Adelaide. The chocolate drink is good too.

Convenient spot right smack in the city centre. Nice atmosphere, good coffee and hot chocolate. Limited space for seating.

The Koko Black cafe has a disgusting service and attitude towards customers, which we have experienced twice today and on 14 June 2021. FIrst time we came with the family to warm up with hot chocolate and coffee, today only me and husband and the way how they treat the customers was unacceptable. Coffee and product are good. But the customer service and positive vibes are more important. We will never come back.

Inviting atmosphere, and nice chocolate collection. Gorgeous truffles but a little pricey for what you're getting. Got the Belgium hot chocolate it was beautifully creamy and rich in chocolate with a slight bitterness to be expected, I assume they used real chocolate. In saying this, I personally preferred the chocolate milkshake! I reccommend it looks small but is more than enough! The service was provided was a little short.

Devine coffee and chocolates! First time here as the queue for coffee across the mall was huge and we were not disappointed. Top-quality chocolates and well-made coffees made this a delectable morning tea experience. Pleasant and helpful staff, fast service, highly recommended.

☕️ Good drinks. Their orange hot chocolate and Affogatos are delicious 😋 Cozy place to dine in. Friendly staff. 🍫 and their chocolate biscuits are ’close’ from the authentic artisan chocolates you can find in Switzerland🇨🇭& Belgium 🇧🇪 😉

Nice place to stop for a coffee and cake while shopping in the City. On the corner of historic Adelaide Arcade and Rundle Mall, it has a lovely outlook to watch the world go by. Great place for chocolate lover's too.

Nice staff. Great hot choc - sometimes too weak :( but can ask for more choc if it’s very pale milky. The music is always too loud plus bad radio pop music and wish they turn off the upstairs speaker for a little more quiet. Can you play music half as loud and better music - portishead / massive attack/ tricky / cat stevens/ Nick cave !? Wish all the Koko blacks with cafes would bring back their fantastic (pre-covid era ) homemade crumpets with home made blackberry jam with real butter - that was amazing with a hot choc - best brekkie in Australia !

The hot chocolate is so heaven, I think the chili flavor is obvious but not too spicy, I think it’s mild spicy 🌶️ which is very friendly. The ice chocolate is heavenly, if you ordered a mocha there will be vanilla ice cream 🍦 in it, overall I prefer the hot chocolate more, I think the orange 🍊 flavor taste better although I didn’t took a photo because I took a few sips🌚

Can't give lower than one star or I would. Chocolate range looks gorgeous but I didn't end up buying, for health reasons. Watched the sales person use her gloved hand , not her ungloved one, to tap the sales screen, then went to pick up my chosen chocolates with the same hand. Both staff seemed amazed when I objected; didn't apologise and didn't even seem to see anything wrong with what they were doing. No sale made and I'll be buying my chocolate somewhere more careful with hygiene.

They offer good chocolate and chocolate drinks there in the heart of Adelaide CBD Rundle Mall.

We love gifting Koko Black to friends, clients and family. Our kids love coming in to pick their own favourites to have at home over the weekend. And their small packaged selections of coated nuts, nougat, and milk chocolate dots are perfect for scattering into chacuterie boards.

Lots of tables available in the beautiful setting of the Adelaide Arcade. The service is friendly and the coffee was good. I didn't buy any chocolate but it looked great and was set out very nicely. The decor and look of the shop is lovely.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When a slight mix up was discovered, their response was outstanding and offered extra chocolates!! Very impressed with Rebecca who served us!

Amazing hot chocolates and affogato! I got the nutty deal which came with three delicious creamy nut-based chocolates. I will definitely be back again. There's great secluded seating upstairs.

The second time dining here and both times were great experiences. On this particular occasion, the service was very friendly and there is nothing to fault with the drinks ordered. The only negative was my friend did not receive her cookie she ordered, but this was resolved easily. The store has a lot of space for dining indoors, outdoors and even lots of space upstairs which I prefer since it is a more relaxing setting. Even though chocolates and desserts are their specialty, I like how they have savory menu options too.

This place is special. The location is in the heart of the CBD, the corner of the Adelaide arcade. The decor, the atmosphere and the items are nicely crafted. Lovely coffees and of course, chocolates. The chocolates are divine and to die for. The price is higher than other places but it is worth it. If you love chocolate and coffee, here you go! Just a tiny point that they should take care of the chairs and single couches that look torn and dated.

Great little cozy hideout in the middle of the mall. Spicy hot chocolate is a must! Some of the drink prices are quite high but quality is top.
