I wish I had read the negative reviews before trying this clinic - they did not have the basic courtesy to inform me when the specialist I was scheduled to see called in sick. I lost an hour of my day driving to and from the clinic and the receptionist had the nerve to simply suggest I re-schedule. Where is their conscience?! Their decency?! Their basic professional functionality?! I would never return to a clinic that lacks decency and respect. I also filled in TWO registration forms in advance, sent to my phone number. And yet the receptionist claimed they could not leave a simple message to cancel my appointment. I am certain that the majority of the positive reviews are fake. Appalling experience. We all deserve better.

Very Rude female receptionist over the phone. I requested to book appointments for kids. She booked 1st then I requested a second. She said you didn't tell me you want to book two appointments and was showing her frustration with her tongue. At end of her call, I requested her to confirm both the appointment time and date and again she showed her frustration, she was not clearly polite.

I never come across such arrogant person in my life, its the first in my life felt like writing in this manner for someone, today it was my first visit as a patient at Hampstead medical centre. Firstly despite being having appointment I had to wait more than a hour to see this unprofessional Dr Singh, she has no work ethics, firstly they didn’t now the consultation fee for my consult including reception. This so called Dr then finally refused to do the check for me because she didn’t felt like doing it. If you can’t handle the pressure then why take that much patient load. Thank god I didn’t took my kids and elderly parent there. Never gonna visit and recommend this clinic specifically this Dr Singh to anyone better to go somewhere rather than to her.

Receptionists were rude. The doctor was over 45 minutes late. By the time I was seen, the doctor was rushed and failed to ask basic questions. I attended this clinic years prior. On one occasion I was misdiagnosed and on the other I was treated without empathy or care. The doctors seem over worked and unable to complete thorough consultations.

I wish I had read the negative comments below the website before making an appointment. This was one of my worst visits, and I didn't think I would spend more than 70 dollars to be bullied by the doctor in the hospital and not get any professional advice. My friend introduced me to this hospital and apparently she and I met different doctors and received different degrees of professional treatment. The doctor Verma who interviewed me was very unprofessional, and I really hoped that the way she treated me and a series of unprofessional behaviors in the interrogation room that day would be monitored and filmed. When I tried to understand the underlying cause of my ear pain or what could be relieved, she was perfunctory and said she couldn't do anything, and she couldn’t explain anything. When I told her that I was anxious and needed her to help me write a note about my current situation, she repeatedly interrupted me and asked me why I hadn't come earlier, why I hadn't come the other day, saying that their hospital had come after 11 p.m., and why I couldn't come the night before. I was shocked because that was the earliest time I could book. I explained the reason to her, but she kept interrupting me, stimulating me in a very rude way until I became so frightened that I almost cried. I tried to calm down and point out that she wasn't listening to me at all. She stopped and said in a different tone that she was trying to help me, even though she was acting in the exact opposite. she didn't give me any patience or respect in the interrogation room, saying that she was helping me, but her behavior kept condemning and questioning me. Repeatedly verbally provoke me when I tell her that I need help and I am worried. I eventually contacted the school as she requested, and the school sent an email to the hospital's email address, but never got any response from them. I broke down and went home crying and made an appointment with another hospital doctor that afternoon, who completed my diagnosis and advice and other related help in 10 minutes with a very professional attitude, which shows that the process is not so complicated. The office lady in the hospital told me it just happened, just let it go, I understand they couldn’t help it either, but now I am making this comment just want to help someone who are expecting to get a professional treatment try to make appointment with the proper doctor, I don’t want anyone to suffer what happened to me again.

We visited the centre today for a doctor appointment that was scheduled for 13.20pm. We reached the centre around 13.10pm and we were told that as the earlier patient had not come, we would be next attended to. At around 13.30pm we approached the reception and asked to how much more time it would take before we are seen by the doctor and was to that our file is open by the doctor and we would be called in a couple of minutes. Till 13.45pm there was no update and when we approached the reception again, we were told that the doctor is/was having lunch. We did get a bit frustrated and questioned as to why appointments are taken during doctor lunch hours and people are being to wait and false information is given. We were told that "its a medical centre and delays do happen." We completely understand that, but not after being told that you are next, your file is open etc. and not to be seen by the doctor. Eventually we did see the doctor, but for reasons best known to the centre, we were seen by another doctor (no issues with doctors at all). We had some urgent tasks at 14.00pm and had we been told that its going to take time, we would have planned accordingly. Request the reception staff to be more transparent in the future. We too have tasks that might be impossible to miss.

Dr Qazi was so unprofessional, I booked a Papsmear appointment with her and she terminated my appointment after she sent me to the toilet getting sample. When I came back, she already had another patient in there. I couldn’t believe it. She made me sign my sample paper leaning on the wall outside her office and sent me out to pay. I told the receptionist that I still have other conditions to consult the doctors and requested to see her again. She was so angry with me. She had no interest in my condition but spent time lecturing me how late i made her. I told her that i’m not finished with my issues and she said i can only discuss 1 issue with her because I only book 10 minutes. The receptionist booked 10 minutes without telling me. I didn’t know that i only have 10 minutes appointment. I told her that I’m happy to pay for longer appointment if needed. The receptionist should have checked with me when i made booking that if i have more than 1 issues to consult. Dr Qazi should tell the receptionist to check with the patients before they booked. Instead she blame on me for making her late. I told Dr Qazi that i waited for 45 minutes to see her and she has no time to discuss my health concerns with me. She accused me for being rude and said it’s normal for the patients to wait for the doctor that long.. but she forgot to acknowledge that it’s NOT normal for the doctor to terminate the patient’s appointment without notifying them while they are in the toilet getting sample. When i made a complaint to the management, the manager Karen Bishop’s response was a huge disappointment. She totally ignored the fact that Dr Qazi terminated my appointment after she sent me to the toilet. She basically repeated what Dr Qazi said and accused me for being rude. They have a broken system where the receptionist booked 10 minutes for the patients without checking with them if they have more than 1 issues to discuss Dr Qazi’s best interest is how much time the patient takes, she has no interest in her patients condition. She doesn’t care about her patients. Terminating the patients appointment without letting them know is unprofessional and unacceptable The manager Karen Bishop who quickly to jump on to defend her staff and accuse the patient for being rude. This clinic is hopeless. Their best interest is to book as many patients as possible. Your health is not important to them.

Not happy with the Dr.Singh.she was disrespectful and not letting us to ask any queries regarding our concern I felt so bad after the appointment,we are going to GP to get better not to feel low or disheartened please try to respect your patients and address their queries don't try to put us down,We had queries but she stood up and opened the door for us the appointment held only for 2 mins. I want to thank the management for the prompt service in booking appointments but please try to follow Duty of Care. I hope management will address with problem soon.

She may just be having a bad day, but without asking me a single question, Dr Qazi began printing me a prescription for antibiotics less than 60 seconds after meeting me today. At around 3 minutes into the brief exchange she was clearly exasperated I actually wanted to discuss and understand what was happening to me, so I left, none the wiser, with a prescription I know nothing about. Awful experience 😢

I had the worst experience visiting a gp. Mixing up appointments the first time, canceling the appointment without noticing and blaming on the patient the second time - if anyone wants to waste their time get nothing done they can visit Hampstead Health.

I tried this practice after a recommendation from a friend and, unfortunately, I'm going to have to go back to my previous GP. I wanted to try a few of the doctors here to find one that was a good fit. Had a few appointments, just routine checks and prescription renewals, and found the doctors to be cold, uncaring, and impatient. Made an appointment with the third doctor on my list and was abruptly told that I needed to pick one doctor and stick with them. I tried to explain that I wanted to find a doctor who was suited to my needs, but this was brushed off. My old GP practice wasn't perfect, but I felt comfortable talking about private, medical matters with them. Here, I didn't trust any of the doctors at all. I had high hopes to make this the regular practice for my family, and I'm disappointed that I have to walk away. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I hope this helps someone.

Attended Hampstead Health Family Practice Medical Centre today, Excellent, Wonderful service. Caring Doctors and staff who listen to my needs and requirements. If I could give 10 STARS , I would. Highly recommended. the Practice is not your normal GP practice as they have extensive services, facilities, nurses and can refer you to Specialists if required. Staff are SUPER HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.

Don’t bother trying to post constructive feedback for them - they’ll put the blame back on you and say that you’re wrong. When I asked the doctor if he had experience in a particular field, he said he didn’t, and I had to coach him to ask someone who had experience for an answer. Practice manager probably should be more open to reasonable and constructive feedback the feedback that i received was presumptive and speculative and not at all based on fact. It’s ok to not know everything (wouldn’t expect anyone to) but when a doctor lacks accountability and starts practicing out of their depth, that is a danger to the community. Reception staff were lovely and couldn’t fault their efforts, attentive to your needs and very polite.

The good aspects of clinic is easy to park and working hours. Plenty of space in the waiting room. Doctor took less than 4 minutes for my last appointment and looked on the watch twice. So disappointed, not even asked my concerns.

Doctors are really helpful here. However, their reception staff need more training. I’ve been told by pharmacist that the vaccine needs to be stored in fridge, without stored in fridge it has to be injected within 15 minutes. Told the same thing to receptionist who originally refuse to put my vaccine in fridge. I insisted then she finally put it in. However she didn’t label with my name and didn’t communicate with nurse either. Later on when Dr asked nurse to give me injection, the nurse know nothing and couldn’t find my vaccine. Fortunately, they found it but it was quite frustrating. All of those can be avoid if she can do things correctly. This is the second vaccine I’ve done here and previous receptionist was really helpful. So I guess only this girl, maybe she is new but she definitely need more training.

The doctors I saw today were helpful. I was also able to get a blood test and a biopsy done at the same time and location. I had to push a bit to make this happen but it happened none the less. There was an issue where I was not booked even though I confirmed online as the doctor was not there. A younger receptionist repaired that for me promptly. There was an older lady at the reception desk with dark hair who spoke about me as though I was not being truthful about not receiving any notification. She was also quite rude to me about it. It was unprofessional and rude and perhaps she needs some training around speaking to people in that way.

My first visit to this practice and I was impressed. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable wait time. I saw Dr Assad and she was so pleasant and I did not feel rushed. She listened and carefully discussed things. Dry happy with my experience.

Our family has been attending this clinic ever since it was opened. It has long opening hours which makes it easier to reach out to a doctor when needed. Appointment booking is also convenient with the app. There are some very good doctors there, especially Dr George, who is always patient, thorough and able to diagnose medication conditions accurately. This is definitely one of the best medical clinics in the area.

I have always trusted my doctor and she remembers me well each visit, along with all the little family and life stories along the way, regardless of the number of months since last visiting. I always feel very warm friendly and welcoming vibes. For a large clinic like this, it is a rare and personalised health care facility.

Hampstead health is an amazing practise. There's some beautiful doctors here. I've been coming here and seeing Dr Rasheed and Dr Kwan for years now. The receptionists are nice and it's so easy to book appointments on the hotdoc app. Also the pharmacy downstairs is really good. The staff are super friendly!! Xx

What a great facility. We are in Adelaide on holiday and were able to get a same day appointment to see a doctor. Only waited 15 minutes after appointment time, saw doctor and nurse, got prescription and out within 30 minutes. All at no cost.

I have been using Hempstead Health as my only clinic for a number of years now and find the staff to be extremely pleasant and professional. Dr George has also been my GP for this time and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very understanding, knowledgeable and doesn’t make you feel like a number. All of the doctors are very busy, so I’m even more grateful as appointments never feel rushed. At times when I’ve had to see another GP they can see my record and usually assist with scripts, etc.

We been treated very poor by Dr. Anuradha Guptha Our expectations and experience was totally disaster. Hospital is good , my review is completely based on my yesterday’s experience with this particular GP. No offence and with all due respect to each and everyone she just spoke couple of words and our consultation was done I wasn’t sure about anything,, actually our appointment was at 09:50am and we been called inside to see her at 10:17am then what is the point of booking a prior appointment! Thank you

Friendly efficient office staff, both over the phone and at the practice. Flu injection was administered with ease. Was able to pay in the doctor’s office rather than have to queue up at the main payment area. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Confusing and disappointing. This was my first visit to this clinic. A doctor spent 4 minutes with me. I had two personal specimens in my hand and I asked for labs on each as well as a cbc. She did not order all labs. I had to pay a second visit fee to have a doctor call with my lab results. THE DOCTOR NEVER CALLED ME AND THEY KEPT MY MONEY. Now I will have to revisit the clinic to hopefully get to the bottom of my lab issues as well as hope that my health returns without their care. Very frustrating experience!

The only good appointment I've had there was with Dr Singh. The rest have not been very helpful. The appointment I had last night was terrible. I went there for help with my antidepressants and he told me I may as well have committed suicide and that it wouldve been safer for me in the long run instead of following a different drs advice regarding my medication. I was appalled by this ans this is not acceptable by any means

I called Hampstead health to book my daughters 18months vaccinations. I was told we have to book an appointment with the Doctor prior as they need to assess my daughters health. So I booked it, and we rocked up for the appointment (waited patiently) until it was our turn. When my daughters name was called we proceeded to the Doctors office. Before we could even sit down, she (the doctor) asked me the purpose of our visit. I mentioned it was for my daughter vaccinations, and she immediately directed me out of the door into the Nurses office for the injections. No assessment of my child took place, nor did any questions pertaining to how she has been health wise. It appears to me that on this occasion that the appointment with the Doctor existed purely for the purpose of "clipping" a ticket.

Had a phone consult. Doctor forgot to organise pathology form. Rocked up after work to get it sorted and did not have paperwork for test. Was chased for bill even though it lead to no real outcome in a timely manner. Pretty disappointed in the experience.

Worst experience ever, booked a immunisation appointment with the nurse for my 4yr old. Arrived 10mins early. On arrival got told that we have to see a doctor before the shot. Fair enough let’s wait..15mins waiting…… 30mins waiting….. 40 waiting….after 45mins doc came out and met us on the corridor asked couple of questions nd got told no need to wait and ok to go to nurse. Again waiting game… another 25 mins still no nurse.(all this time I can see the nurse attending other patrons who arrived well after us) Asked reception for an update first team member is blank(I need to check with my colleague) second receptionist informed that my appointment is still open with the doctor. Then they wanted me to speak with the doctor who informed that the he will get someone to investigate why nurse is taking so long. Seriously Is this some kind of a joke!! After wasting 75 mins I had enough and left without seeing the nurse. Finally On my way home got a call from nurse to reschedule the appointment. Thanks but never coming back again.

Dr Jose Estevez is the most professional Doctor I have had the pleasure of dealing with in my 60 yrs of seeing doctors. He is thorough and too the point, no health problem is too great a issue that he will not see to or refer to a professional for further investigation. Cannot praise this doctor enough with all my dealings with him over the last 3 years

I generally have a good experience with this health clinic. While I dont have a specific GP i regularly attend, every GP thoroughly reviews my medical records to ensure I get the best treatment for my visit. Reception staff are also good as I tend to ring up before my appontment to check whether the doctor is running on time. They provide me with the information I needed to adjust visit and not having to wait around a long time in the waiting area with other sick people. Every staff I have encountered have all been friendly. Reception, nurses and doctors.

With all the technology in the world, they do not have a service to update that the doctors are running late. All the occasions I have been there the average waiting time is an hour. Surely if the doctors consistantly run late the Same service that messages you to confirm your appointment and time can also message to advise you not to rush ? The doctors themselves are pretty good it would have got a 4/5 if the time management was taken into account.

Absolutely the best GP clinic I’ve gone too. Very good doctors who even ring the patients at night with blood test results/scan results . Am very happy with the staff and all doctors. To have visiting specialists and Australian clinical labs in one location is great. To be open late on week days and open weekends is also a big bonus. Well done to Hampstead Health 👍

This review is in response to my first visit to HH, at which time I was arriving after a weeks hospital stay. The people were both (simultaneously) caring and professional, from reception through to my new GP, and to the Chemist. If this was a standard day, and their standard way, I thoroughly recommend Hampstead Health.

Dr. Kanwal Asad takes the time to listen attentively and has genuine concern for her patients. She has been my GP for a while because she is an excellent professional with a great balance of warmth, compassion, and expertise. She thoroughly explained my diagnoses and treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. I felt well-informed and reassured throughout my treatment. Her medical knowledge and diagnostic skills are exceptional, along with her ability to prioritize treatment options that were both effective and tailored to my specific needs. I cannot recommend her enough!!! She is a doctor you would love because she genuinely cares and especially if you are a woman because she is relatable and phenomenally personable. I don’t think my review has done justice to her but both Hampstead Health and I, are lucky to have her!

Recently I went for a follow up appointment. 1 star purely because the doctor DID NOT record my previous visit and the medicines she prescribed me etc. I was looking like a fool.. she didn’t even apologise or anything. Also I waited more than 40 mins for my name to be called in. I was still charged for the appointment after their fault. Didn’t expect something like this from this practice. Awful.

One of the best experiences I have had at a GP Practice. Lots of parking, huge waiting area, fabulous reception staff, a doctor who actually listened & was interested & caring in what I was saying & a lovely, lovely nurse who took care of me for a procedure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice. Thank you ..

It's a professionally run business that also bulk bills, so it's fantastic. If it didn't bulk bill I'd likely go elsewhere. Everytime I've been there's only ever been a short wait. Staff are courteous. Has a pharmacy here too which is useful if picking up a prescription.

The Hampstead health family practice it's fine. I wish I could find a doctor that would understand me a little better and I wish I could spend more time with the general practitioner. The rating is not really towards general practitioners is more towards the operational system in health clinics in South Australia. The way most clinics in South Australia operate decrease the quality of care to patients. Perhaps we need more passionate general practitioners in general. and more up to date with human psychology. But a lot of these issues are solved through the health clinics with regulated training.

The waiting time from my appointment time was 45 minutes which I thought was stretching it a little bit. The practice utilises self check in computers which relieves pressure on the staff as the practice must be the biggest in Adelaide. Unfortunately they do not employ a psychologist any more which I needed.

Great surgery, a lot of doctors available. Nurse, pharmacy, dentist and physiotherapist available all in the same building. I moved to this surgery as they still bulk-bill children and concession card holders Monday to Friday. I would definitely recommend.

Generally the administration processes are good at the clinic, however today things went a bit astray. I had an appointment with a nurse, followed immediately after with my Doctor. I waited nearly an hour for the nurse. I had checked at 30 mins and was told, I was next on the nurses list and the doctor was aware that I was seeing him, straight after and was asked to continue waiting. Luckily, Dr George came to my rescue and took me in and undertook the work of the nurse, plus my consultation with him. Thankfully, this type of delay is not normal. If you're looking for a good doctor at the clinic, Dr George is great.

Dr Qazi is absolutely amazing! She has been my entire family’s Dr for a few years now and is consistently thorough and knowledgeable. We really appreciate her taking her time to explain things in appointments, in previous experiences I felt doctors just wanna get you in and out without a proper consultation. So I highly recommend Dr Qazi!

For the doctors overall, I rate 3 stars. I’ve been going to Hampstead for a few years and steadily the care I received became inconsistent with my past two doctors. They were rushed and didn’t go into much detail and I ended up crying at the front desk after I saw one of them. I would like to highlight that I was going to try my chances at a different practice until I observed Dr. S Raj with another mother who was getting her daughter’s vaccines at the same time as mine. While my doctor barely checked over my daughter and rushed away, Dr. Raj stayed with her patient and explained all of the vaccines and what to expect and I could tell how kind she was and the amount of effort she puts in. Recently, I have personally seen Dr. Raj twice. Before I went into her office, she printed out my results and went through each one in high detail and explained what I should do to benefit my health. Dr. Raj makes me feel really comfortable and treats me so kindly and with respect. Never has my previous doctors at Hampstead has used my name in conversation. I would recommend mothers and young women to see Dr. S Raj who feel anxious about seeing doctors, and who also want to know that they feel seen and heard with the upmost care provided. Dr. Raj gets five stars ⭐️ The other services, including the nurses are great.

I made an appointment to see a doctor at the Hampstead Health Family Practice Medical Centre and this is the 1st time I came to this Health Centre. There is the big car park and I found a parking slot for my car very easy. This is a very nice Health Centre, which offers many allied health services such as Pharmacy, Physio, Clinical Labs etc. I impressed with the 2 online check-in Registers, the cleanliness, and all the signs that guide you clearly most of things that help new patients like me. The doctor who helped me offering very warm welcome, friendly, and attentive listening, answering all of my questions. I give good recommendation to this Family Health Practice services.

Happy with the doctor/consultation but reception and doctors need to communicate better with each other so there isn't confusion for the patient. Also reception need training in customer service, nothing bad happened but a lot of patients and their families were confused due to poor communication from staff.
