Hands down, this is one of the best hotels in Accra, Ghana! it is a High end Hotel at a reasonable cost, there's a restaurant on the premises where the meals are served hot & delicious, a 24hr pool as well, the Staff is simply amazing, Respectful, courteous always willing to lend a helpful hand, Rooms are cleaned Daily! We simply can not say enough about this hotel. we stayed for two 2weeks (May 2023) my very first time in Ghana, no complaints, Highly recommend

This hotel is simply beautiful. Its pretty close to the airport, not too far from Accra Mall. The staff are welcoming, especially at the front desk. The food quality at the restaurant is superb, I highly recommend the chicken alfredo and the burgers. The cappuccino they make is the best I've ever had. The swimming pool is very clean and visually appealing, as is the gym and pool tables. Massages are available to book also. Even the most basic room comes with a fridge/freezer and kettle, and a fantastic shower. Rooms are very secure. I will definitely be returning here on my next visit to Ghana. If the manager is reading this review, your hotel is amazing and your chef is a huge asset!

I loved the potential of this place but it doesn’t seem to know its niche. Service was very mixed. Some super friendly staff and some miserable. The pool and gym are completely overlooked by the bar. Fine if you don’t mind being watched. I saw no one use either. It also says they have a spa. They don’t. They said there were safety deposit boxes. There weren’t. There was a party til 1am one night and building work started the next morning at 8am. If you like parties, I expect you’ll love it. It needs to define its market.

We had such a pleasant stay at the Golden Crystal Experience Hotel. Firstly, our checkin was surprisingly pleasant despite our late arrival (0:00 AM). We appreciated the young sir at the reception who made sure we had a good night of rest to start our journey. And the whole crew was available for each one of our needs along the way. Our room was comfortable and felt like home. Breakfast was good. And we enjoyed having meetings/ lunch and dinners at the hotel restaurant. Definitely our top place to stay when visiting accra.

Staying in Ghana (& Africa) for the first time, I am soooo very glad that we found this place!!! Thank u to Audrey, who was our first contact person, a bright, bubbly, beautiful young lady. Thanks to the security guys/parking attendants, for letting us in & out at all hours of the day & night! Thank u to the kitchen staff for yummy breakfasts & dinners. They have a huge selection of foods. Of course thanks also to the room attendants. The whole place was very clean & alot of time was spent maintaining cleanliness. Rooms are spacious & bed was comfy. Shower was accommodating for both male & female cleaning needs. I will be very sad to leave here tomorrow, after 7 nights of happiness. Will especially miss the pool 😊 Thank u to those staff who were polite & gave warm smiles when speaking to us.

The service is disgusting... especially the attitude of the admin. A short fair lady. No professionalism, she quarrels and insults clients, when you pay, they have a problem giving you your balance. The ediface is ok, but the service is so appalling you will never wanna get back there. I am embarrassingly disgusted bu the attitude of the staff especially the admin and I am not the only one who had issues with the place. During my stay there, there were similar complaints from other clients.

The ambience was great and the room was cosy. I was well received and certain the meals would have been great as well; just that my stay was overnight only. But the bathroom shower door made it near impossible for me to get into the shower cubicle. A slimmer person could wangle through, unless they change the orientation of the door. Other than that? It was worth the money spent. Clean, affordable, not too far from the airport, courteous and helpful staff, lovely ambience.

Many of the staff are friendly and courteous but there are some who aren't. Breaky has been good. Light soup and groundnut soups served with fufu tasted something else. Rooms ok. Car park inadequate as there's been occasional spill-overs. Pool reasonably clean. Have witnessed smoking of weed at the blind side of guard at night around the pool area a couple of times during my stay. Generally nice place.

The place is affordable and clean. The staff were nice and respectful. The food and drinks were reasonable. I definitely will come visit again.

Very beautiful and welcoming environment. The staffs are very friendly and professional and I love the free breakfast. Everybody in the facility is also willing to provide you with advise or help to make your stay a wonderful experience to the extent I totally forget I was in an hotel. Home away from home!

Amazing and calm place to have fun and really rest. The rooms are clean with both an AC and ceiling fan. There's also a table tennis table, a gym room and a swimming pool. The food is also great.

I booked the Premier executive room with my family And when I wanted to take shower the water heater wasn't working And they kept telling me the technical team isnot around and we are sorry Very poor service

Suitable for not-so-great-experience, if you are looking for a place to sleep and get up to do your business. I would recommend that the management pay close attention to the food, what was served to me was already losing it's taste.

I enjoyed my stay at Golden Crystal Hotel. The staff were attentive and quick to fix any issue. However, I was not impressed with the buffet breakfast offering.

Very budget friendly considering the location. Meals at the restaurant are relatively cheaper than most places around.

Me coming from America to this hotel I loved it here good food, good price, nice massages, wonderful exercise room and swimming Pool is very nice. I would go back to this place again when I’m back in Ghana.

It's actually an apartment building. It's very spacious, neat and not far from the main road in its location with regards to getting public transport.

A nice and quiet place to stay but there was an issue with the light during my stay plus my room had a damp patch on the ceiling, which made it smell terribly musty.

Loved their rooms and breakfast.

The rooms are fine and the food is great. Customer service is also good, however as at Nov. 2023, the hotel has bore hole water coming from the showers and sinks. It's salty and doesn't lather soaps well. I don't like tasting salt when taking a bath.

Very terrible water. My whole body was itching after just one night. The water is untreated and very salty. We complained and asked for our balance to go find a new place but they refused. For your own good do not book this hotel !!!!

I had a very bad experience with this hotel from Dec 11 to Dec 15, 2023. First, I was living in this hotel for 4 nights and needed another night. So extended my stay (i.e., I booked a room for the same price), only to be told the next day that “there is now a new price with effect from tomorrow, therefore I have to pay the new price for the hotel I reserved yesterday for another night”. And it was increased form Ghc600 to Ghc900. I told them if there is a new price that takes effect from tomorrow, then it should only affect those yet to book and not those that have already booked. Because i considered the gh600 to extend my stay yesterday and not Ghc9000. They told me it’s instruction from above and they can’t do anything. So I had to pack out and look for another hotel. What they do is to intentionally increase their prices when they know they are getting more patronage (Xmas season). So just put it in mind that you can book a room and get there to be given a different price to pay. They only care about the dollar. Another client also complained about how they wanted to extort money from her with their exchange rate and not accept small dollar bills. In addition, their services, particularly the restaurant, is poorly served. You can order for food and it takes 2 hours to serve you. I’m not going to this hotel again. But they are in a good location with a nice pool.
