Some of the service attendants are dismissive with customers, and very rude. Thursday 18 August, 15:10 h, a middle aged woman with short hair at the customer service, which also acts as a cashier, sends all the queued customers off to another cashier to wait a second time (a long queue at the other place), just because she had "a customer service question that may last long". Upon asking if I could stay waiting she very bluntly and rudely denied and gave me a back. She didn t call another cashier and didn't want to have us customers waiting for her to finish. Everybody leaves quite frustrated, but I wait at place, since I can not invest 10-15 min again at the other cashier and I suspected she just wanted to leave putting her time over that of the customers'. Luckily just 3-4 minutes later another cashier comes and takes her position, and the woman that quicked off everybody finished immediately her "long customer question" and left for break. While I understand that breaks are needed, they should do like in any other place with usual customer service: mark some minutes before their break time the queue as closed and not accept more people in the queue, but finish tending to the customers already in that queue. Or organize to have a replacement before leaving. Coop should be more careful to avoid employees that do not follow common sense customer service procedures.

I was buying barbecue and there was very helpful sales assistant, seriously good service, today 26.08 at around 13.00.

Seems like this shop has totally everything inside, even COOP is connected to it 😄

The Coop Bau+Hobby is integrated in a building with other stores (Toys‘R‘us, JYSK and a Qualipet). Out site there are a few parking possibilities but mostly already taken. There’s also an underground parkinglot with extra wide space for your car. Minus 1 star because they don‘t have a lot of checkouts which leads to waiting time. And this one cashiers is a bit harsh sometimes. There is also a groceries section combined with the Bau+Hobby.

Pretty good range of products, but as most things in Switzerland, they are pretty expensive. The store is bright and well organised and the staff very helpful.

Giving a one because I can't give lower. JUMBO corporate should consider giving some training to their staff about prejudice / bias. They have a bunch of customers coming in and out and yet they run after me the black person to ask for my receipt when I've just gone and paid at Jumbo then walked across and did more shopping at Co-op. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Aside from the color of my skin what exactly warranted this behavior?

Used to go there lots when it was still Coop and liked it. Went there a few times since; always getting no or wrong answers for my DIY questions, and as of today we can add no notion of polite person interaction - one of their employees seems to get a kick out of harassing moms with kids. Client unfriendly (which is an understatement), incompetent, and obviously don’t want anyone’s business, in my opinion.

Personell is kind and will always try to help you find what you need. I was impressed by the garden and plants sortiment! Great shopping experience in general
