It was a nice small museum where we learned a lot about the Dambusters! Almost all the information in the museum was in three languages; German, English and Dutch. The owner was nice to us and showed us the many books he had for sale (if you're interested in those, just ask him about the books! He even showed us some Dutch books! I recommend this museum if you're interested in the World War 2.

This is a great stop off if you can make it. The owner/curator/guide/model maker is an Anglophile royalist who is massively friendly and lots of fun.

On line it says its open but when arrived it was closed. Lots of cars turned up whilst we were there and all left dissapointed . If you closed update your site to advise people who have travelled hundreds of miles

Paid a visit to this museum whilst touring the area on motorcycles. We were greeted by the quite obviously Anglophile and very enthusiastic owner. He personally added greatly to the overall experience. The museum is not very big but contains many items including a replica bouncing bomb at the front door. In my opinion, well worth the €5 entrance fee.

Visited the museum on a Sunday morning. Very enthusiastic curator welcomed us before running a couple of films for us. Very interesting and gives a different aspect to the events of the period. Museum is smaller than you expect, but worth the time to see the exhibits. Unfortunately did not get to walk up to the dam, as we had to be back to Hoek van Holland for the ferry. The whole area is worth visiting as the lake and surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Fascinating insight into the dambusters raids and also further into the history of nazi germany. Worth seeing if you’re in the area.

Low quality print-outs of Photo's from Internet plus a number of granates and shells. A number of pictures is called a "Film". Expensive waste of time.
