What
is
a
5
star
resort?
To
obtain
a
five-star
designation,
a
hotel
needs
to
offer
not
just
lavish
accommodation
but
a
large
number
of
different
amenities
—
gyms,
spas,
gourmet
restaurants,
and
more.
Five-star
hotels
also
provide
a
very
high
standard
of
service,
personalised
to
each
guest's
specific
needs.
If
these
are
the
requirements
for
getting
a
5
star
rating
Paradis
Plage
doesn't
tick
all
boxes.
It's
more
a
3
star
resort.
I've
been
in
5
star
resorts
before
so
I
kind
of
know
the
needs.
If
they
had
adverted
with
3
stars
I
would
not
have
written
this
review.
On
arrival
we
decided
to
get
our
lunch
at
the
beach
side
restaurant.
We
were
with
2
families
and
they
forgot
1
families
order
in
total.
There
where
3
tables
occupied
in
total
and
6
staff
crew
attending.
No
apologies
for
the
long
wait
whatsoever
or
a
quick
fix
with
some
bread
and
some
refreshments.
We
had
a
hamburger
(quite
dry)
and
seasoned
patato
wedges
that
came
out
of
a
pack.
Quite
nice
if
you
step
out
of
a
DeLorean
in
1985.
While
we
were
waiting
there
could
have
been
enough
time
to
get
our
room
sorted
but
they
didn't.
Also
the
shower
was
broken
and
had
to
be
repaired.
After
the
repair
the
employee
left
our
room
leaving
it
with
muddy
steps
all
over.
Our
apartment
had
a
bit
of
a
run
down
feeling
(for
a
5
star
resort).
The
main
restaurant
looks
quite
nice
if
it
was
designed
to
be
in
a
local
Ikea
store.
The
food
is
super
plain.
Advice:
there
are
much
better
restaurants
outside
the
resort.
The
breakfast
is
abundant
but
not
fresh.
I
have
had
better
coffee
at
funerals.
Overall
I
noticed
that
most
of
the
staff
is
super
cranky.
The
solution
to
this
resort
is
a
new
manager
and
a
makeover.
The
location
and
the
beach
are
wonderful....and
the
yoga
teacher
Karsten
is
sublime.
It
deserves
so
much
more...2
stars
for
not
being
real
