Pets are not allowed. It's a tiny little zoo. Once you enter, everything is nearby. However, I feel very comfortable here. Maybe it was because it was a weekday and there was no one there, but I wanted to bring a chair and read a book for about half a day while occasionally looking at the animals. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any small-clawed otters when I went.

Very small, but free "zoo" area in Maruyama Park. It is more like a small farm than a zoo though, but they do have some more exotic animals such as lemurs. There is a free petting area in the zoo at specific times during the week and on weekends - generally not available on Mondays. You can hold guinea pigs. Closest parking is the car park beside the botanical garden and / or nature hall.

Entrance fee and parking lot were free, and there were cute animals that were soothing! ❤

Inside, there were beautiful colored birds, large rabbit-like animals, otters, meerkats, lemur-like monkeys, and 6 aquariums, as well as a silverfish, a soft-shelled turtle, a newt, and a large goldfish. Elementary school girls (1st and 2nd graders) were watching with great enthusiasm, and children in 3rd and 4th grade were also watching with great interest. I wasn't there that day, but there was an interaction corner, so depending on the day of the week, you might be able to interact with animals. Considering it's a free facility, I'm very satisfied!

It's free (parking lot, zoo), so you can easily go. Although it's small for a zoo, it's a really nice zoo, and it's in a park, so you can see otters so close together.

There's a lot of parking and it's free, so it's easy to use, and the restrooms were cleaner than I expected. I felt that vending machines were a little biased by manufacturer.

There are otters, ring-tailed lemurs, goats, meerkats and other animals. The otters are cute as they scream energetically and move around. The ring-tailed lemur was cold and still. The meerkats also look cold. If you go during the warm season, you might see them moving around energetically, but in the winter, the only ones moving around were otters. There's free parking and a park, so I think it's a good playground for families with small children.

小さくて可愛らしい動物園でした！ 広い公園の中のちょっとした癒しスポットです

自然豊かで癒されました。遊具も色々ありました。小雨の日でしたが傘をさしながら歩くだけでも楽しめました。半日だと回りきれなかったのでまた訪れたいです。

公営の公園にしては動物数が多いです。カワウソの水辺がカワウソに過ごしやすいように工夫されていました。昔からいるワオキツネザルがすきです。

何気なく訪れたら可愛い小動物がいてびっくりしました。鳥好きなので、出会えて嬉しいです。
