2020年7月の平日に来園しました。昨今の状態を考慮し、平日のみの開園から、休日も含めた開園に回復していくようで嬉しく思います。園内は無料で見学できます。無料でありながら、沢山の動物が飼育されていて、楽しい見学時間になりました。
来園の主な目的は、カピバラさんに会うためです☆現在飼育されている3匹のカピバラさんの内、2匹は展示されていて、あと1匹は怪我の治療中の様です。カピバラさんとの触れ合いは出来ないので、せめてお食事シーンは見たいなと思い、事前に動物園の方に電話すると、1日2回あるお食事の時間帯を教えてくれました。
カピバラさんのお住まいの近くまで行くと、間近でお食事シーンを見ることが可能で、元気良く食べている姿がとても可愛いらしかったです☆お食事が終わると石ころで歯磨きをしていて、一生伸び続けるというその歯を、とても大切にしてるんだなと感じられました(^^)
また、サルさんの飼育数が多く、サル舎が大きいのにも驚かされました。サイズ的に小さなサルさんが多いので、とても可愛いらしかったです。特に、2匹で毛繕いしてる姿は微笑ましくて、なんか素敵だなと感じられました☆
