वाहे गुरु जी दा खालसा, वाहे गुरु जी दी फतेह Being a Hindu I have always believed in every religion. Gurudwara has always been close to my heart. This place leaves no stone unturned as it is located just on the outskirts and gives dreamy tranquility vibes. Pray, roam, hangout, chill whatever the reason you have it will definitely quench your thirst.

Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib (Guru ka Taal) in Agra located on national highway Delhi-Agra. A religious place of Sikh historical significance. The place boasts of visits of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, sixth Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji and the most significant being visit of ninth guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji, who on his way to Delhi for offering his life to save Hinduism from conversions and adoption of Islam by the then ruler Aurangzeb. Guru ji offered his arrest through a poor shepherd so that he could receive the Award announced by the Mughal empire for guru Ji’s arrest so that the poor shepherd could meet his ends through the award of 500 gold coins. The Gurdwara in Agra is built on the original cell where Guru ji was kept under arrest for nine days in a cell under heavy guard and security, was later shifted to Delhi under heavy armed forces and was subjected to martyrdom in Delhi where Gurdwara Sis Ganj sahib is built in guru Ji’s memory. The whole Gurdwara Sahib is elegantly built with a majestic elevation. There’s ample space in front court yard , the sanctum sanctorum is placed on elevated first floor flanked by Langar hall and the utility accommodation. There are more than 50 well furnished rooms for pilgrims. The whole Gurdwara complex is well maintained despite heavy footfall, people visiting from all corners of the globe. Being in the city of Taj Mahal, the place occupies a slot during visit of Agra. I thank management for their untiring efforts to maintain such a precious historically important religious asset.

A nice calm place to connect with GOD and relax yourself. However, this Gurudwara needs to be more properly maintained. As soon as you enter the premises it is hard to distinguish if people have come to a Gurudwara aur to a park. People sit at the enterance with shoes all over, eating chips and chatting with family. In my opinion this needs to be stopped. Decorum of this sacred place needs to be maintained.

I wasn't expecting much from this place, as I have only found out about this through Google. But when we arrived, it became one the greatest highlight of our Agra trip. The place has a protective feel around it, you will feel at home. Staff, volunteers and fellow devotees will give you a blissful feel. Gurudwara also organises langar, and the food is amazing. If you are visiting agra, you must visit here.

Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal in Agra is a beautiful and historic Sikh temple that is located near the banks of the Yamuna River. The temple is easily accessible and is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The architecture of the temple is breathtaking, with intricate carvings and designs that are a testament to the skill of the craftsmen who built it. The temple is also home to a sacred pool, which is believed to have healing properties. The atmosphere inside the temple is very peaceful and spiritual. The devotees who visit the temple are very friendly and welcoming, and the priests are always happy to answer any questions you may have. The temple also offers langar, a free meal service for all visitors, which is a beautiful tradition in Sikhism. Overall, Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal is a beautiful temple and a must-visit destination for anyone who is interested in Sikhism and spirituality. Whether you are a devotee or simply interested in history and culture, you are sure to be impressed by the beauty and spirituality of this wonderful temple.

Gurdwara Sri Guru Ka Taal Sahib is the site where Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji offered his voluntary arrest to Aurangazeb, the barbaric mughal emperor. Guru Ka Taal is near Sikandra in Agra. The Bhora Sahib was where the Guru Tegh Bahadur kept for 9 days. This historic structure dates back to the 17th century. Earlier it was a Taal (reservoir) in the area near Sikandra. It was built in 1610 AD to collect and conserve rainwater in Agra during Jahangir's reign. The water of the reservoir was used for irrigation purposes during the dry season. Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji (along with Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, Bhai Dyala Ji, Bhai Gurditta Ji, Bhai Udo Ji, and Bhai Jaita Ji) started his journey from Anandpur Sahib, stopping at Saifabad (Patiala), Cheeka, Jind, Rohtak, Janipur, Guru Sahib reached here at Agra. Guru Tegh Bahudar first stopped at where Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib is situated, on the left of Gurdwara Sri Guru Ka Taal Sahib, within the same complex. A poor man named Hasan Ali was grazing goats his there. At the time Aurangzeb offered a reward of Rs 500 for information leading to the arrest of Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji. As Guru Tegh Bahudar was going to submit himself voluntarily he allowed Hasan Ali to benefit from the reward money. Guru Tegh Bahudar was arrested and kept at the Bhora Sahib for 9 days before being taken to Delhi under strict security. Aurangzeb was a vicous religous persecutor who wanted India to become an islamic state. As Guru Tegh Bahadur stood up for religious freedom and refused conversion he was made a sacrifice and beheaded by a proxy islamic court in Delhi. The mughal empire collapsed soon afterwards.

Awesome place Guru ka Tal is a historical Sikh pilgrimage place dedicated to the memory of ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji. Guru ka Taal is near Sikandra in Agra. The Gurudwara was built over the place where the Guru Tegh Bahadur offered voluntary arrest to Aurangazeb, the Mughal Emperor. Several devotees gather every year to pay homage to the great Sikh guru ( who was martyred along with his followers for sake of freedom to practice one's faith) in this Gurudwara. I love it

This Gurudwara is dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur, 9th guru of the Sikhs. There's an octagonal Gurudwara on the left side which showcases armor and weapons used in that era. Relish the langar and tea. Waheguru 🙏🏼

Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal is located in Agra on Chennai - Delhi highway near Sikandra Fort. This is an important pilgrimage place for the Sikh community as it is dedicated to the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Entry to this holy place is free. When you enter this place you will feel calm and have peace of mind. Before entering the gurudwara you must take out your shoes, and bags and deposit them in lockers and take the token so you can retrieve them later. The gurudwara serves fresh warm food in langar 24×7 and you can eat as much as you can. The Gurudwara never discriminates against anyone and treats everyone equally. The spritual place with calmness, and greenery. Scenic Beauty. They have daily langar too. They food at langar served as prasaad is so satisfying. Although carry a cloth piece like dupatta or handkerchief to cover your head, this is mandatory. They religious place discourages and kind of misbehavior amongst the group or couple. They decency and decorum is required at the gurudwara. ⭐ I have been going to the place since my childhood and holds special place in my heart ❤️

This place has auspicious vibes in it... This place has historical value... Gurudwara is a best place to meditate and listen shabads.. I visited few days ago.... Gurudwara also has so many rooms AC and non AC... The price is very limited.. Rooms are so neat and clean.... But if you are a young couple make sure take it proves with you that contain your marital status.... Because there are some rules they need to follow... The park is so much beautiful.... There are some sewadar always remember renu to cover your head while taking pictures.... I requested the staff... To be polite with sangat... Because so many persons don't know the meaning of covering head in the gurdwara.... It makes bad impression on them to shouting on them....

I loved everything here. The serenity, the atmosphere, the calm of the mind which you get when you ever enter... It's just inexplicably soothing. The food served here tastes just like home...I loved it. The people are friendly and very helpful. You can even get accommodation and can stay here for as long as you want. I liked my stay here. This place is a must-visit if you go to Agra.

A must visit place in Agra, the best timing is around 7-8am(in summers). All the positive vibes will surely calm you and you will take with yourself a part of this place in your heart. Try to reach here in time for morning 'gurubani' and you will find ultimate peace. You will become more generous, more human. Also, must try to be part of the langar and offer your service here.
