We had a one night stay at this property while visiting Agra and it was found to be excellent in all respects. We were given a free upgrade to the higher floor as well as a late checkout as much as they could accommodate without incurring extra charges. Food options were fabulous and we couldn't resist ourselves from trying out the dinner buffet though it wasn't in the original plan. Breakfast too had great variety. Overall an excellent stay and we would recommend choosing this property while visiting Agra

It was a pleasant stay, the staff is nice and courteous. They have kids room with (table tennis, pool table, PS4, books for reading. They also have slides for kids. They swimming pool is also nice. The property is large and they have a lot of rooms for guests. The room is spacious and so is the single bed which can accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. Now the only and the biggest problem (drawback) is that the food is not good and pricey, we attended a function and the food was not good. They also take almost 30 minutes before they send any food order. The menu for in-room dining is not vast and they only have limited options.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Excellent food. If there are parties or weddings the music can be going outside until at least 2am. If you are going to the Taj or Agra for, hire your guide through the hotel. Less expensive than guides on site and high quality service. Our guide was very good, knew how to beat the crowds and get us to all the best points.

Excellent service, well maintained hotel. The pool area is a nice place to spend time. The food spread is amazing. We had breakfast and dinner and the quality was quite consistent. The food was not too greasy and quite delicious. Their service was also good. They usually have vendors coming in the evenings displaying and selling their wares. When we went we saw a magician selling magic show accessories, a puppeteer selling his cloth made puppets and an astrologer. Veer clear if you are not interested.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms are large and comfortable. The beds and pillows are comfy. The pool is great to swim in on a hot day. The breakfast was fantastic and they accommodated for our gluten free and vegan requirements really well. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Agra. It’s a short trip to the Taj as well and main sights.

The hotel has a variety of dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant that serves Indian and international cuisine, a rooftop bar, and a coffee shop. Guests have praised the quality of the food and the service provided by the hotel's staff. In terms of amenities, the hotel has a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a spa. Guests have enjoyed using these facilities during their stay. Overall, Courtyard by Marriott Agra is a well-reviewed modern hotel that offers comfortable accommodation and excellent service to guests. Its convenient location and variety of amenities make it a good choice for travelers visiting Agra.

Like others said; pathetic service. I’ve stayed in many courtyard by Marriott before but this one is beyond anyone’s imagination. The room I was given smelled puke… probably the person staying before me was sick or something. I informed the hotel and asked them to clean but no success. At the restaurant I sat down and had to wait for a good 15 min… nobody came so I had to ask 3 staff until somebody came to take my order. The option I wanted was not there and I was offered an Indian option instead but come on… some of us choose an international chain hotel to eat something different than Indian food which I love but was waiting for some western cuisine at this hotel. The room itself had stains everywhere including blood stain in the bed, it is disgusting to say the least. The amount of care they give is below zero… if you can try another hotel.

A five star Marriott Courtyard! Who knew... Location is convenient to the Taj. We hired a guide through the hotel and the price was very reasonable. Restaurant offers extensive buffets for all meals. We had two suites. They were spacious, but the decor was too heavily skewed towards chrome, glass and darker hues. Perfect bachelor pads! Our hotel was hosting a wedding and in case you didn't know, Indian weddings can last for days. We didnt appreciate loud music till 2:30 am in the morning! So if sleep is important to you, you might want to check on that before making a reservation or bring ear plugs! Service is cordial and attentive from a well trained staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was a wonderful stay. Well-maintained, beautiful hotel, nice location, very close to Taj Mahal, lavish and delicious breakfast & dinner. Really appreciate the polite and friendly staff be it valet parking, security, housekeeping, reception, restaurant, everyone is very courteous. Special note of thanks to Mr. Arif for his hospitality at dinner table. Extra water bottles or tea/coffee refills were provided whenever you ask for it within minutes. Overall, had a pleasant and great experience during stay.

Their hospitality surpassed our expectations. The restaurant staff were extremely hospitable and we enjoyed the breakfast they made for us. The chefs came to the table to check personally if we enjoyed their preparation. The cleaning staff were great too. The front desk manager took care of us well by upgrading our rooms and it compensated for the initial trouble we had while checking in. The rooms were comfortable but they should look into changing the bathroom fixtures as they look very old. A remarkable stay

Bit disappointing. This is an average hotel where the pictures over promise and the hotel then under delivers. It is probably in need of a facelift. The rooms are large but tired. The pool area is lacklustre. The food is incredibly expensive but decent quality. I am sure you can get better for the same cost. Also, I would recommend to anyone to book a refundable rate and potentially cancel and boom locally as our experience was the rooms are 50% of the price if booked when in India and that is even when the hotel is full.

I visited Agra recently for a weekend getaway and planned our stay in Courtyard By Marriott. The hotel is very well equipped with all the modern necessities. The check in & check - out was smooth and our room was very spacious. The hospitality was amazing. Just we faced a bit issue during our breakfast as they were having a wedding and it was overly crowded during the breakfast hours. Had to call for basic butter & sugar for more than 4-5 times otherwise the food and service was good. They have a lovely pool and have live entertainment happening in the lobby area in evenings. Will look forward to visiting again.

One of the best hotels were stayed in during our trip. Hospitality and service were excellent. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good, just somewhat expensive. The hotel has very nice and large rooms. There are always drivers outside and it is easy to get around to places such as the Taj Mahal. The hotel is very near both train stations and has a good surrounding area. Very nice hotel.

Would not rate this hotel as 5 star. The swimming pool was what sold me on this venue and even that was disappointing. Having read another recent review after booking I would absolutely agree that the pool water had a cloudy/dirty look the whole time. Then came the room which while passable but could do with a refresh to meet the claim of 5 star standards. The rain-head shower didn’t work and neither did the safe till we got housekeeping in to look at it. Don’t recommend using the in house travel service as they booked us a guide for the Taj who proceeded to tell us they take a significant cut of the money charged and only pay them at the end of the year! Not that we believed they got payed at end of year but I’m sure the hotel are taking their share. To make up for that the guide then took us to a carpet and marble manufacturers who did the typical sales pitch with pressure to buy (not doubt paying commission to the guide). The location of the hotel whilst close to the Taj has very little around it and seems to be quite a run down area. Over all this was our most disappointing stay. One highlight was the housekeeping, security and restaurant staff were very attentive and gave great service. Pity the front desk staff seem to have a level of self importance that didn’t marry up to the other staff.

I booked the hotel on 26.10.2023. There is no privacy in the pool. I don't get whether the existing pool is for Decoration or for some relaxation. More than 300 windows of rooms are directed towards the pool area. An introvert like me can never swim in it. There was a constant construction sound and upon reporting that to the service desk, no action was taken although she said that they would halt the activities at once. Even after requesting multiple times, they didn't provide the room with the bathtub. Overall, the experience was the worst and I was really disappointed by the 5-star rating of the hotel.

We checked into our non-smoking room and it was smokey. They came in and were going to spray for the smoke and I told them that is not good enough. They found us a different room after I had to explain to 3 different people. And then we had mosquitos in the new room. We went down to try the dinner buffet which had okay variety, but most things were over salted. The quality was not what we had in other Marriott hotels. The power went out in the women’s bathrooms when we were using them and it took time to get that back on. We tried getting some snack to go from the cafe. They said it would take 20 minutes. 40 minutes later, the manager gave it to us for free. It was not a great hotel experience, especially for a 5 star hotel. The manager did discount the terrible buffet food. Would not stay here again.

The staff here was absolutely kind and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious and safe. The pool and spa were a delight. The rooms were nice and quite, especially from the city noises. Yet the location was close to many tourist attractions. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Not so “5 - Star” The service was good. The food was great. The lobby ambience was good. However, quiet disappointed to see the room condition. A little dated. Very unpleasant smell around the rooms. Tainted mirrors, leaky shower, scuffed sink area and old carpet. Definitely not a 5 star class and in much need of some makeovers. Probably best to look around the area for other places.

Me and my family is very happy to stay in this amazing property and I am not sad to spend my money in this hotel. The staff and chefs are very friendly and I am very grateful to them. My brother is 1 year old baby they give milk for him in mid night and they sterilized baby bottle very neatly. In short my experience is very very nice and good. If you are going to visit Agra and you are thinking🤔 about (which hotel I will stay?) So, don't think more about this hotel just go for it!!!

This hotel has great service. Marriott Courtyard international is higher service than in the US and it operates more like a luxury hotel. The staff and general manager was great and they did all they could to make our stay wonderful and engaged with our children. The pool is very nice and the breakfast had what seemed like 100+ items from Western to Indian food. My only concern is they do not allow outside food so you can’t order from a Pizza chain or bring any takeout into the hotel but the room service food was really good and reasonable price for a nice hotel.

During my recent dining experience at your establishment, I encountered two significant issues that need immediate attention and improvement: inadequate training of the staff in terms of payment modes and significant service delays. I believe addressing these issues is crucial for enhancing the overall dining experience and ensuring the continued success of your restaurant. Firstly, the staff appeared to be unfamiliar with the available payment modes. When I inquired about different payment options, they seemed uncertain and struggled to provide clear information. This lack of knowledge not only caused confusion but also extended the payment process unnecessarily, leading to frustration for both customers and staff. Secondly, there were noticeable delays in the service provided. It took an excessive amount of time to place orders, receive food, and settle the bill. Prompt service is a fundamental aspect of a positive dining experience, and these delays significantly detracted from that. To address these issues effectively, I recommend implementing a comprehensive training program for all staff members. This program should cover a thorough understanding of payment modes and procedures to ensure that staff can assist customers efficiently. Additionally, staff training should emphasize the importance of timely service, from order placement to bill settlement.

I spent 2 nights here whilst touring India. The hotel has more of an executive feel to it, but that doesn’t take anything away from it. The rooms are comfortable and provide you with the essential amenities. There is a lovely pool area for swimming and relaxing. The buffet breakfast was delicious and has a great variety of food. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, even sending a female to my sister’s room to help her change into a sari at 04.30 in the morning. I would definitely recommend.

Pathetic service. Highly poorly trained staff. Makes someone's special occasion really pathetic. Too much money minded without caring for its customers. Serving customers is not their priority at all. DOES NOT DESERVE 5STAR HOTEL CATEGORY. WORTH 2 STAR ONLY. Comfort and well being of their guests is not at all their priority as claimed by them. *GOT FOOD POISONING AFTER STAYING AND EATING THERE FOR 2 DAYS* AND THE MANAGER( authority) COPIES AND PASTES the same reply... P. S- NOBODY SHOULD THINK OF PLANNING THEIR DESTINATION WEDDING OR ANY FUNCTION IN THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THEY WILL MAKE YOU HAVE THE WORST EXPERIENCE. NOT WORTH ANY STAR 👎👎👎👎

Stayed here for one night. Rooms could do with a bit of TLC. They're starting to look a little tired. A smell of damp along with a bit of mould around the window frame. Reception staff OK but the guy who did the checking in just decided to stop halfway with our check-in, left us standing there and started checking in another guest instead. Not sure why but slightly rude in my opinion. Food was great. Room service was great. Internet seemed intermittent but admittedly that could have been our devices.

We stayed here for a night on the 02nd Oct weekend. The room tariff was quite high (possible as we booked just 3 days before). The food was average and was nothing really great, some of the food in the Lunch buffet at MoMo cafe seemed to be prepared quite in advance and just appeared to be re-heated and didn’t taste fresh. The Chicken & Mutton were good and well prepared. Coming to the Fun zone - the flooring is coming off and can be dangerous if you are fully engrossed in your game. My wife slipped and fell down, twisting her foot in the process. Getting the first-aid kit also took a lot of time and we had to make two calls to get that to our room. The tables and equipment at the Fun zone are not well maintained at all and is not something you expect from such a big brand. Due to Covid-19 protocols being followed, the swimming pool was not operational as well. The property overall is not very well maintained and i am sure things can be improved with some more care. Wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone.

Overall great experience.... Waiters in dinning restaurant n bar need to be aware n updated on the offers... Bar needs to be stocked with all the ingredients that are being offered in the menu card particularly the cocktail ingredients... Otherwise the stay was good n comfortable..

Good service at Courtyard by Marriott. Breakfast spread was better than dinner. Pool experience was good. Property little small but is equipped with all facilities albeit bar & fitness centre needs to be improved with fitness trainer.

  • 1/5 Vikas S. 1 year ago on Google
Room and Reception staff are the worst. They never honour what they commit. They would never return calls even when they promised. They literally destroyed my wife's dress by putting stain marks during laundry. Food is good and that's the only positive. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as it's a complete waste of money. I will rather recommend other hotels in same category which are more professional in comparison to Marriott.

I stayed here in first week of June 22. The room, cleanliness is best as u expect from such category hotel. I have not tasted the food, but yes the breakfast was good. One will find varieties of items (dishes) in breakfast. The taste was good. Overall if I have to rate my experience then I can it was excellent. Need to improve- pool water, as the water was not that clear, it might be because of some filter issue (I m assuming it).

Easy accessibility while travelling from Delhi. Well maintained property with good infra and rooms. Food is reasonably okay. Will not rate food as outstanding, hence the 4*

Overall pleasant hotel, with a great location but unfortunately they forgot to pick me up at the airport, so definitely not a great start. In addition, my sleep/rest was far from ideal considering my two night stay was accompanied by two different wedding celebrations that included blasting music to the point that my windows were shaking... Breakfast had a good spread and Saksme Singh was extremely helpful and professional.

We stayed here for 2 days in Premium King Pool View. Room was bigger in size, neat and clean. The staff was really courteous and polite. The ambience was also really good, we had a great service from Md Arif at dinner. The dinner/breakfast buffet was outstanding. They served Khichadi and french fries for my 2yrs old kid at our room even after buffet, it was amazing gesture. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We stayed at this hotel for our Agra visit . We found the room large , well appointed and comfortable. The staff had excellent attitude and were ready to help us . They even upgraded our room and gave additional freebies without even our asking which was a pleasant surprise. Due to Covid situation , only one restaurant is running which is quite understandable. The food was good and size of helpings was also good. Hotel has changed most of the services like menue , room service to electronic mode( QR code) which is quite thoughtful actually. I would certainly stay in this hotel on my repeat trip to Agra.

Marriott Agra...5 star property..i personally feel the room sizes are smaller..and the king size bed is less than the queen size bed...Property is good and the food is very good, there are lots of variety in food buffet.. Over all a decent stay... Fun Zone is in bad shape..

Stayed here last weekend for 2 Nights. Great hospitality, comfortable and well-maintained rooms, delicious food. Initially had a hard time trying to reach their reservation desk on phone but once we reached there, everything was handled smoothly. Special mention to all staff members for being attentive to the guests.

I went for a dinner at the momo cafe. I would say the food was very tasty. Their menu is a lot better than many of the other 5 star hotels in the vicinity. The place was clean , the staff was very helpfull. The hotel had a very nice ambience.

One of my best experience of ease of booking and a funtastic stay. Above all the price I paid for one night was only 3500 Rs for two, thanks to Covid. Deal was inclusive of breakfast too. Staff was great. As far as I remember chetan attended us at the check in and surbhi assisted us at the check out. Both were impressively professional, thoroughly soft spoken, apparently maybe😜. I can never imagine to get such a deal ever again. Loved it so much.
