The food was amazing. Pedro is an excellent chef who was able to offer a vegan meal with no notice. The service was great and we loved the family history of the restaurant. Definitely recommend.

This is a special restaurant. We came across it while traveling through the city and were attracted to its appeal and ratings. We were very pleasantly surprised by the owner/chef warmth and absolute confidence in the food. 2.5 hours later we had our best meal in Portugal, completely letting him choose the items based on what we like. It was great. The desserts were very impressive as well. This isn’t your traditional in/out Portuguese food spot. It’s very well crafted food prepared with love and passion, yet priced very reasonably. Much less than Porto or Lisbon’s similar places. Massive hit!! Pedro is a special restaurant owner (more of a food artist)

We arrived here with the help of the sat nav and TripAdvisor. Like in the other review, most of the other tables had "reserved" signs on them even though it was late for lunch and the place was empty except for one other customer. We were placed with a view of the toilets, I would advise the owner to place a dividing wall there. We had the cod fish. It was breaded and together with the fried potatoes, dripping in grease. I didn't eat my meal, the waiter offered another dish but my appetite was gone. The restaurant looks like it has seen better days but the view is beautiful. I read all the glowing reviews after leaving, it must have been a great place at one time.
