Excellent place covered a huge space for medical facilities. We visited for urology and for that we need to first visit at 1200 bed hospital (new Civil) it cost just Rs 5 for registration of new case and after consultation we need to visit Ward A1 (Gate no 5) old Civil for test and there reports. Doctor's are very polite and supportive. Best part specially persons first time visiting is free electric auto and bus transportation in this area for all persons visiting for medical purposes. Good clean score is 9.5 out of 10 it's also due to some outsiders and due to no proper route guidance or map available to see which Location first visit in this big Area. I would like to recommend everyone to visit here for cost effective medical treatment where no one can afford huge expense on medical tests and medicines.

I generally never preferred Civil hospitals in my life for any kind of treatment but the reality does not depend on my belief. In 2018, around 8 am, my mother get an injury in her eye during some planting crops in the garden. Blood started coming from the right eye and I must admit I was really scared. I quickly tried to get her to a nearby hospital but it was Sunday morning 8 am so most eye hospitals closed in Ahmedabad(sad reality). I visited 3 to 4 private eye hospitals but all were closed. In the last option with heavy heart, I bring her to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. There was a long queue but the doctors tried to check every patient ASAP. The lady doctor was very rude in nature but was best in treatment. The lady doctor has given some eye drops(without any charge) asked me to wait for 2 hours for the operation and I was very angry because blood was coming from my mother's eye slowly. Lady doctor has asked me to remain calm and told me to give eye drops in every 30 minutes to injured eye. She asked my mother to close her eye till the operation. After the operation, they released my mother immediately and till today, she is not having any problem regarding the eye. I must ask forgiveness to all doctors during that day. They were excellent in their work and maybe during the first inspection doctor might get idea that injury was not that much severe that's why the lady doctors asked to wait for 2 hours so meantime they can treat other patients who has severe injury. One of the worst hospital in Ahmedabad. Unnecessarily it is said to be best in Asia. They just don't listen to any patient. All the patients are just clueless that whom should they approach. My dad who is suffering from Prostate cancer was referred to this hospital and was told to meet Dr Apoorva Patel. But when he went to this hospital, he was told that he cannot meet that Dr. Then we got to know that he has got his personal clinic. Dad visited his clinic and he charged Rs35,00 just as consultancy fees. No wonder he doesn't meet patients in Civil hospital otherwise unke clinic kaun jayega. Then that Dr told k civil me admit ho jao but civil hospital me admit hi nahi kar rahe hain. The only good part about thus hospital is cleanliness. Worst experience.

I am writing this review based on my personal visit to the hospital for just a checkup. Since M&J Institute had referred us to Civil for a general Physician checkup, the doctors at the emergency ward were so rude and were so untrained, I feel they seem to be doctors for the death. They treat the poor as animals. I suggest kindly tutor doctors with proper behavioural training so they respect humankind and be of help to the society instead becoming money making machine. I know most of them will be having their private clinic/hospital and hence they are reluctant to give better service at the government facilities. They are making people compelled to visit them privately paying hefty money.

Given 2 star cause some doctors and nurses behaviour are ridiculous I've admitted my sister because she had 6% blood they told me to go give sample in blood bank and told my brother to get report tocken from counter and when we left they also sended patient on one of counter for pass mean ftw bro you're sending patient who has 6% who can collapse in any minute when we came back my sister was nowhere to found when I asked doctor he said I don't know I told them you're staff of 15 people (5Doctors,5 nurses,3Helpers,2security guards)you can't even take care of 1 patient it was 12 bed ward we searched her like crazy after half hour we found her she told us that doctor told her to go when we returned and asked doctor he only done argument and in the end he didn't accepted his mistake so we discharged her from there

We have big building, tenured staff, equipment... BUT We lack hygiene, basic cleanings (Mosquitos) , stinky and broken washrooms, staff with lazy approach, no one to guide patients relative. So, Basic necessity is missing and that's what make difference in health of patients and relatives living with them. As it run by the government, they should also keep a check on these basic services and rest of the things also matters. What is the point in treating patient where you cant control mosquito in emergency room. Either patient will get another disease or their relative.

All Dr n tritment n very nice BUT Very bad parking facility If patients visit ikd or troma centre her parking nr 1200 bad hospital this distance is very far from both centres Only staff parking is nearby parking and security support only for staff not for patients

Doctor behaviour is good but compounders behaviours are very bed they don't have manner to talk i think they must need training tp talk with patient

Great building structure plus free bus service for inside area is awesome. The issue with this is there is no such proper places to sit inside the building campus. The security guard are not allowing the visitors to visit in the waiting area.

You can rate 5 stars for the doctors and medical facility but when it comes to cleanliness , it's poor ,very poor . Guard's are good but only when you know gujrati, and if you don't it's hard to deal with them. All the hospitals in this campus are excellent but the environment around the hospital is poor ,it's a mess .

It has many big hospitals as its departments like IKDRC, 1200 BED HOSPITAL, TRAUMA CENTRE, OPTHALMOLOGICAL INSTITUTE, U N MEHTA INSTITUTE OF CARDIOLOGY and so on.. It cares millions of patients totally free of cost

The worst service of civil Ahmedabad all because of their security guard recruitment, Who recruited that kind of security he will definitely brainless person, they will never saw the condition of patients and either they will never saw patients family members Age was ... Today i had faced the problem in civil MY mom's age is 44 years and in a morning mom and me wants to go to through the building gate to collect report of my dad but the security guard and his supervisor started misbehaving and arguing with my mom and my dad was the EX-ARMY Man after that this would happen ... This is the condition of our indian hospitals and they says we give the best services IN MY OPENION THAT KIND OF SERVICES GIVEN BY CIVIL AHMEDABAD IS VERY SHAMEFUL
