Amazing hospital build by our municipal corporation..this is like a 5 star hospital..with a helipad facilitiy... simple superb Sardar vallabhbhai patel institute of medical sciences and research 1500 bedded multispecialities hospital and medical college. The hospital is country's first and largest public hospital made of steel. At 78 meter in height , it's gujarat's tallest hospital and well built withing 1 lakh square meter. SVP is designed as per the joint commission international standards in case of emergency , patients are relocated to a safer place in short span of time. Hospital has 18 floors , basement and a helipad. It is the only hospital to have physiotherapy , medical and nursing college on the same campus with separate hostel for boys and girls which can accommodate 550 student each It is the most affordable and one of the best in healthcare provider in Gujarat

Worst experience of mine of yesterday. In trauma emergency they kept me sitting for more than 4 hours without dressing me in my wound which was remained open for more than 4 hours for no reasons. There are no sufficient surgical instruments on ground flour trauma . They are not able to take decision promptly. It is worst hospital having no adequate surgical instruments in their trauma. Even normal surgical scissors was not available in trauma yesterday for which management is responsible. Worst management at higher level. It seems staff and doctors are working under pressure with one sided guidelines of higher management.

Worse hospital ever all doctors are newbies they don't know what they are doing. My mother has lung infection and they detect that she has TB I already did that same report in other hospitals it comes out negative they give my mother TB treatment without measuring weight of my mother and they give 6 tablet per day. And it was very high power table that my mother's liver function totally fail. And after a month I lost her. Please don't go over thier you can get better treatment in private hospitals my financial position was not good so that's why I had no choice. If you love your family do whatever you want to get treatment in private hospitals no matter if have money or not. I giving SVP -5 rating.

I had a truly unfortunate experience at SVP Hospital's emergency department. My grandfather suffered a brain stroke, and we rushed to this hospital due to its proximity to our home. Little did we know that this would turn out to be the worst decision ever. The staff's behavior was appalling, to say the least. They were incredibly rude and indecent. Even the security guards acted like thugs, with a certain individual named Firoz Khan displaying threatening behavior while we were trying to admit the patient. We were told that only two people were allowed, but the way it was communicated lacked any semblance of professionalism or ethics. This is behavior you'd never expect from hospital staff. To make matters worse, the treatment was administered by PG interns with very limited experience. They seemed to rely on Google for calculating and mitigating risks, without consulting any senior doctor. After nearly 5 hours of waiting, during which almost 2 hours were wasted due to their mismanagement, the junior interns injected thrombolysis. We were under immense pressure and fear, so we had no choice but to proceed with the procedure. In summary, the doctors, staff, admin department, and especially the security personnel were all subpar. The only positive aspect was the facility itself. I strongly advise against seeking treatment here; they play with people's lives. This was an extremely disappointing and distressing experience.

COVID April 2021 Update: No proper food provided to Diabetes patient, Blood tests are taken at 3:00 AM, Doctor in F8 B1/B2 ward takes no responsibilty for food provided, Food is given at irregular interval gaps of upto 5 hours, Patients are left to suffer. very torturous for the patients.. very very improper Staff. Doctors are behind the wall, safe.. No one to take responsibility, no call centre, reception number never take responsibility, higher authorities never come on phone, patient relatives not allowed inside the building. Hospital Infrastucture and cleanliness is great.. but due to lot of patients, food doesn't reach on time.

I was admitted due to covid and this is one of best hospital in Ahmedabad, gujarat. Best treatment, good doctors, medical staff was like friends, all food, beds, toilet was neet and clean. They listen all your every complaint and give you solution quick with politeness, they treat you best. Go here for any treatment, this is one of best hospital. My experience is more than this. Very very good. 1. Medicine they give you on time. 2. Food they provide is fresh and tasty and healthy. 3. Doctors visit you 4 to 5 times in day 4. Nurse and brothers are too good. 5. 4 reasons to avoid emergency ward during night hours, 1. Absence of senior doctors 2. Careless on duty intern doctors 3. Careless front desk administration 4. No availability of medical officer on floor These things makes your situation worse. Kindly avoid this place at any cost in emergency. I would like to appreciate the nursing and support staff for being able to attend patients calls or else this place is one of the totally mismanaged place on earth, medically and administratively.

One of the Worst and third class service experiences of life time. The Emergency Paralyzed patient who was unable to seat was forced to give her Wheelchair and she has to sit for about 2 hours continuously at hospital OPD in this situation. Also the Doctor did not come to check the patient for 2 hours. Is this the right way to serve patients in hospital?? Need to check this and action needs to be taken if possible so other patients will not have to face this kind of Worst service. I don't suggest going here for treatment until their service becomes better and also the lazyness of the doctor to check the patient improves.

Very bad experience... Reception behavior is very rude here On days like Monday, HOD is not present...if you ask the in-charge, he says he doesn't know when he will come..so whose responsibility is it??? Worst hospital I have ever seen .the doctors are not at all supportive even I don't like the security system the visiting hours are only for 1 hour and they don't even give some extra time, only one person can meet the patient. The security system isn't supported too. And the hospital is also very expensive ,the normal person can't even afford it.my grandmother is very nervous after being admit in the hospital.

We have been taking medication since 1 year for my father (psychiatry department). The service provided is outstanding. It has lowest rate and provides great medical services in every branch. It is semi-goverment hospital. Medical staff and other staff always helps patients in every condition. Doctors aid patients and care for them like a family. It has latest equipments and and amazing infrastructure. Emergency staff is always ready to treat patients. Thanks to Dr. Nimesh parikh sir Dr. Nilima Shah mam Dr. Nidhi kapadiya mam Due to whom my father has became normal. Our whole family prefers this hospital. This is the best hospital in Ahmedabad, or till now any I have seen, in every parameter.

The trashiest place I have ever visited.The staff don't know what to do.Even the doctors aren't that qualified. Giving some random medicine without consulting the main doctor. No one cares about you and your patient.I have to call them atleast thrice just to make sure that they will come to do some diaper changes or bed sheet change. Another point to be noted I am paying the money here I am not under any free pm card Yojana like that so make sure not to choose this hospital because this can give some worst experience.

Security of every premises is very important..... But it isn't give license to the security staff to behave like way they want... Behavior of svp security staff is very rude... This is the best hospital I have seen, it would not be wrong if I say it's the best hospital in India. Believe me I am not exaggerating it's the truth. I want to highlight my review in points. 1. The first and most important thing there are huge team of junior and senior dpctor. Junior doctor operate if decease is normal but if case is critical then senior doctor comes in picture and belive me they are very experienced. 2. The other thing comes in mind when you vo hospital or to visit doctor is money. Charges are very low like if you visit first time there is charge of Rs.200/- only and after that your next visit is free if it is frequent in weeks and if you visit after long time they charge only Rs.50/-. Now Sonography and other checkups is cost of Rs.200/- and X-ray is in just Rs.500/- If you get admitted in hospital there is various options like suit room, single room, double sharing, triple sharing the charges id very low like Rs.1500/-to Rs.3000/- for suit room ventilator is just Rs.2000/- Believe me charges are very normal. 3. Now next question is whether it is government hospital then answer is it is managed by trust of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and it's 2 times better then a private hospital. Many private hospital get failed in front of this.its 21 floor hospital treats almost every decease.Even they have all world class machinery, instruments. 4. No need to wait for your number you got immediate appointment to doctor no need to take prior appointment. To sumup visit SVP then to a private hospital (i am not against pvt. ) But svp is best. I bow to doctors and staff of Svp they are very helpful and doing a great humanity work i salute them all. Great work, team SVP keep it up. PS - I am not related to Svp in any form. We went to see an endocrinologist. Post consultant, we asked the doctor's name. The reception staff told us that the doctor 's name wriiten on the prescription had seen and there was e-sign of him as well. However post googling the name came to know that the doctor who had consulted and sign mentioned was totally different. A junior doctor had consulted however senior doctor's sign was there. This was our first visit and totally dissatisfied with the treatment.

The staff here is very nice, few days ago my daughter got sick He was admitted on 6th floor, On going there, I met a nursing staff named "Shubham Joshi". He was very nice guy. really liked the way they work. When he used to give medicine to my daughter she didn't cry at all.She cried a lot when another staff came. He was a very friendly person, When he used to come on duty, he used to explain everything. I support that nursing staff And i was say thanks to all pediatric doctors My daughter is good now Thanku svp hospital

Affordable hospital, equipped with all facilities,doctors here are experienced, nursing staff very helpful. Best thing is that for patients relative there's a bed and drawers to keep your belongings. Highly recommendable for surgeries. Would suggest to buy medicines from outside as they give 40-45% discount (shri Akshar medical) and inside medical stores they charge u as per MRP.

Worst hospital they don't even know how to talk with patient and family members my brother he was not well and we shifted here from civil hospital and one of agent told as pay 5000 then we will admit......nurse they behave like they're the one who run this hospital....when we ask for table they said ...ubha j rehvu psdse ben nahi to baar jaav....my aunty crying likr hell .....how can be so insensitive for mother... worst hospital

Very bad experience. The Dr (name not displayed) in room number 12of A1, either he is not endoctrologist. His behaviour is deplorable and rude. He refused to give me prescription or advice either in hard copy or online. Wastage of money. I visited today at 10.20

Staff people and doctors are so good .. And helpful.. But the people which are handling PM-JAY desk they are so lazy to do their stuffs they think government is providing services so let the patient ans patient's family wait and they don't care even about it! Waited for 6 hours to get discharge.. Disappointed.. Canteen, beds and other facilities are good.. Toilets should be more clean

No One Dr is attention to patients even after 10 o'clock in the morning, we are waiting for them,. I don't think patients waiting anywhere in hospital like that situation, Most of the staff are enjoying there job like honeymoon period.

One of the Worst hospital service experienced in my life. Had to wait 3 hrs for admission in the hospital in emergency case. I asked the dealing clerk to do fast the paper work but it didn't matter for him, his reply was" sit there don't bother me, what will you do if i don't make it fast". In emergency no senior doctor is available , Third and final year MBBS students are appointed to attend emergency cases and some of them are very lethargic kind of doctors. one more thing Nursing staff doesn't listen the Doctors(Newbies-students) and don't care about patients. you cann't ask/enquire them any thing it will make them angry. finally on of the worst thing is canteen staff, they are the Hitlers in this hospital. you can not take food, milk, juice etc in side the hospital, it gives the supreme power to canteen staff of torturing the patient and their attendants. I personally recommend don't ever go in this hospital if you are financially sound.

Excellent service provided by hospital Every disease can be cured here even the covid patients are given the best treatment and medicines and equipments are also provided by them. The cost for everything is very nominial and the treatment is same as some named hospital. The security services are the best and there are no issues of parking. The staff is also so supportive and every person over there is of so helping nature whether during pandemic time or non pandemic time . The infrastructure of hospital is the best in ahmedabad and is one of the best hospital of ahmedabad. You can visit anytime the hospital as it is 24×7 open and the doctors here are also the experts. The hospital provided inside kitchen and laundry that means you dont have to worry about your food and laundry and hygiene here is well well maintained.

Third Class services. People are good but system are very awkward. All staff expect that patient and relatives should have all knowledge about hospital systems. No co-ordination between admin, para medical, medic staff. My father is totally disabled and not in position to stand on his feet, despite he is not attended properly after visiting thrice. After vested 3000-4000 rupees results is big zero. Not even decided the case type to whom handle. This hospital is shame of Gujarat Medical Systems. Why this hospital inaugurated by our Hon PM Modiji ?

Today I have visited SVP HOSPITAL Endocrine OPD with y Mother. Her examination was done at 9:45 am am approximately. Still at 11: 15 am we haven't got our file and staff members says after examination of all the patient we will get our file. Why do the patient who is 68 years old have other appointments have to wait. All the patients are waiting for their file. Pls look into the matter or else we have to Complain to higher authorities.

Very bad hospital nurse Staff and PCA Staff my mother was paining for doing Washroom 'pesab' no PCA Staff available after complaining nurse staff nurse say wait for 10 minutes how can you say OT patient to control your Urine and then after I (her daughter)do all the job done. Still after 2 hours PCA Staff is not available at night till 12:00AM and when PCA send at ward she is new. not knowing anything how to do Their job correctly Very poor service of nurse And PCA staff

Today 11 March noon I visit svp hospital. Unfortunately I forgot My mask. I go Apolo pharmacy of svp .I request to buy mask in very polite way one lady said no we don't have mask . After 5 sec one person came for mask and they give 2 mask. Why this happened?

Great experience! Made a same day appointment on SVP hospital and got in right away. The front desk staff and the medical assistant were very nice and helpful. All doctor were great, gave realistic expectations and timelines. I will definitely be back and would recommend the practice!🙂

Very bad hospital. There are no any professor or assistant professor doctor available in OPD. All are trainee doctors available. They charge fees like semi private. But not provide the doctor facility

There are so many rules, which is follows only patient and patient' relatives. They can't understand patient's and/or relatives position/situation. I am not happy for management's behavior/attitude. Management have clearly understood that patient hai to hospital hai. No patient no hospital.

It's a nice hospital, everything feel luxurious and it has (more than needed) facilities but it still needs improvements, I was was spitting too much for almost a year so I decided to check it out here in General OPD, they asked me to do reports as soon as I arrived, they were all normal and they gave me cough syrup, it has been six months since but my illness still hasn't been diagnosed!

All the staff in padietrican opd are inexperienced and are worst they don't know anything about treatment. they are irresponsible persons .students are playing with the lives of newborn lives. my 10 days baby was in heavy pain by their madness .they don't know how to collect blood sample I was watching their all activities .never trust on these rascals they made 5 holes in both hands of my baby then I intervened and their experienced one come .

Few Nursing Staff does not wish to work. They are just sitting in front of computer. Diaper changeing staff, come after we clean the patients, food from canteen are taking 120 rs per thali and not worth... Where as jivraj mehta is offering food at Rs. 65/- and worth quality. Coffee shop in svp needs changing...More weightage is given to appollo pharmacy rather than dindayal.

Recently I have been to this hospital and I must thankful to the government for this initiative! Best resident doctors sources availability a very positive environment and you feel it’s made for the benefit of all people. The charges are very nominal compare to other hospitals and they have entire department for Ayushmann card and other insurance queries. Other then that they have two cafeterias which provides a quality food for patients and visitors. Security will help you and guide you at each floor. Admited for COVID treatment for 10 days, Received good treatment from present doctor very helpful staff nursing also wonderful timely giving the medicine & treatment required. Dr's very helpful in nature. Food quality absolutely fantastic hygiene and time management. Cleanliness very much upto date. Overall fantastic leaving experience.

Really great hospital. Facilities, support is nice. I went to basement where they have the kitchen and pantry section there on the way tobacco spiting on the walls were found. Dint expect this in such good hospital.

My overall rating would be 3.5 We have not discharged yet, will update this with the discharge reviews as well. Regular consulting process = smooth, all staff are very talented and very experienced EXCEPT their PCA staff it means their serving staff needs to be improved. Emergency treatment procedure very smooth, patient do not have to struggle, as of now (17-09-2022) Aayushman Card benefits are their (carry original ayu card and Aadhaar card) Emergency admission process = smooth Emergency admission process = smooth My specially thanks to Our Professor Doctor and their team. Complaint or suggestion : Specially night shift some nursing staff and some PCA staff are not Co operative, resulting due to some surgical equipment issue or nursing staffs irregularity resulted with blood loss from the vein as we called them twice though they not even been serious while we called them. Service staff should be improved in the terms of servicing the needs of the patient. Hopefully doctors handled the situation and my wife is good my now.

Ahmedabad's one of the biggest public hospital run by Ahmedabad municipal corporation. It's on the bank of Sabarmati river. It's multi storey multi facilities hospital. During havoc of covid pandemic during 2020-2021 the working style of this hospital was questioned. It's autocratic working style was criticised in media for not admitting covid patients who belonged to poor family.

Very experienced team of Doctors and hospital management is also good including security staff members. The only challenge is when the patient is discharged from hospital it takes a lot longer to get the file from billing department. Apart from this overall great service.

The SVP hospital is the multispeciality hospital which constructed in arround the budget of 750 carors

Worst service. Hospital Running with less doctors as I found doctors sleeping in icu because of overtime. Nursing staff doing business with the help of outside medical shops. They supply the medicine to outside medical shops which bought for patients. Also they all are working as a agent for outside medical stores. Some security people are good but some of them are miss guiding people that doctor will not come today and other this kind of thing. Building is good equipments are excellent. But Hospital is running buy unprofessional and corrupted staff and management. I personally recommend go for civil rather than this hospital.

The worst security i have ever seen in any hosital in my life. They don’t have any sence to talk with any person. Night security guard on the first floor was doing the duty with out ID while we ask about the ID card they are saying the our ID card is under process then who have given the right to work in the hospital if the person do something the normal people they don’t even know the name of that person. Lady security guard was talking like she is having all the rights to do any thing and say anything to any one we all are giving respect to her as a female staff and they don’t don’t even care about anything. We are not allowed to take outside food inside the premises that we understand but if a patient get hungry at midnight after 10 PM, there is no other way for the same. Canteen closes at 10 PM. There is no solution for this. All the doctors are giving the hundred percent, but the ground staff. They don’t even care about the patient in ICU. Even in ICU. They bring lunch lunches from Canteen and take and take lunch inside the ICU. They don’t even care about the infection to the patient. patient was calling at midnight to the supporting staff, but you don’t listen anything if someone is going Through my comment, kindly bring a solution for this. Otherwise the life of some patient will be in danger because of this careless peoples and the blame will be go on directly to the doctors even if they are giving their hundred percent. In the basement Canteen cat was licking the plate in which peoples are taking their dinner and they are saying that we have to eat that food only. We are not allowed to take any kind of food inside the premises. Then how would someone will take dinner even if they know the reality of the Canteen. Please do something for this
